Twin Lakes Campground

This video is intended to compliment the Army Corp of Engineers website campground information. The information on their website about each campsite is useful in choosing a site and their pictures are good, but not always the best view. I have found a ride through the sites on a bicycle to be helpful. I spent the weekend at Twin Lakes on an off football weekend in October of 2021. The park was not full, so I had the opportunity to ride through most of the sites on Sunday morning. The sites are in order, so you can skip to the ones you want to see. I hope this helps.

Do you have a kayak camping video on Hartwell lake on an island? I think I noticed your voice from another UA-cam channel. If not then you sound just like the guy. He said out from Western Carolina selling club in paddled to an island about a half a mile from there and he was in a blue kayak and slept in a hammock. Your voice sounds exactly like his. I've been watching your campground videos for this campground for the past week and every time I hear you talk about the campsites I think about that kayak camping video. Please let me know if it's you it's been driving me nuts LOL

Site #89 is extremely hard to get into if you are longer than 25ft. You have 2 trees, one on each side and its almost a 90 degree back-in. The road is narrow and you have a trees all along so watch out for you truck while backing in.

The last time I checked, golf carts were not allowed in any of the Corp parks in South Carolina. I have not asked in the last couple of years, but I have not seen any.
