Sometimes it's hard to believe that you've never heard of some of these Bands because they were so Popular in their day. But then I think that you probably weren't that old, or in some cases, even born when these Bands were big. I, on the other hand, grew up and passed into old age with these Groups and they bring back some good memories. Thanks.

This won’t get lots of notice but “dog and butterfly” is my favorite song of theirs. It’s a soft song but it’s just so beautiful. When I was a like 5 I used to get down in the floor of the car we had and put my ear to the speaker because it was hard to hear even when it was all the way up. Heart is my favorite female rock band and while Ann Wilson is an amazing vocalist her sister Nancy is the one playing lead guitar and she’s just as good on guitar!

Nancy was NOT the lead guitarist. In fact they had to hire Howard Leese to be the back up guitar

I saw Heart in concert in 1978, the same tour live as this video at the ripe young age of 15. While watching the show from the 3rd row, Nancy Wilson became my second teenage rock-and-roll heart throb! She has aged well too.

Ann Wilson was the main vocalist on a lot of their songs. Her sister, Nancy, played a mean guitar, but she sang lead on a few of them as well.
The guitarist who is singing backup is the lead singer's sister. They are Heart. The other members of the band fill out the band, but the two sisters are Heart.

What a fantastic song! Heart is a great rock band and they are in the R&R Hall of Fame. I became a huge fan of theirs back in '77. Another great song of theirs you should react to is "Crazy on You," followed by "Love Alive." They have a bunch of great songs, including some very popular love ballads from the Eighties.
Nancy is known for her "kicks" while playing guitar!!! Badass sisters and VERY popular still today! Hard to look at them today and know they are grandmothers!!!

Listen to a couple of their Led Zeppelin covers and you'll really hear her voice! Look for the live performance at the Kennedy Center, they did Stairway to Heaven and the living members of Zeppelin are up in the balcony all of them with smiles on their faces!!
