Me and my wife love your videos. I’m retired Navy, my wife is Filipina, we have a 3 year old and are seriously thinking about moving back to Guam. I absolutely love it there…. It seems more affordable than where we live in Southern California. Most likely, we will do the majority of our grocery shopping at the Commissary. We really enjoy your videos. Oh… my daughter has done the flight from Philippines to LAX a few times now, it’s not easy… even with the both of us. So good on you :-)
@@shawnmeredith3975 Oh my gosh you definitely have to go back with your family! Even if for a visit to do some scouting around and see what areas y'all might want to settle down!
Love your videos and learning about Guam through them. Looking forward to a work trip there for 10 days starting next week. You never mention the brown tree snakes that seem to be the talk of Guam on the internet. Are they really that bad in public areas and in hotels?
How exciting! I hope you get to do a lot even for a short visit! Haha so personally, I feel like the brown tree snake issue is exaggerated. You'd mostly find them in jungle areas. There was one that found its way into the Guam Power Authority's main site many years ago, got tangled up in the lines or something, and caused an island-wide power outage 🤦🏽♀️ I think people just assumed from that story that Guam had an overpopulation of snakes 😂
@@DaniAdams Thanks! Makes me feel better. I’m okay with them where they belong but not in my hotel room and toilet like people have claimed. Yikes!! Can’t wait to see how beautiful it really is and hope some sites have reopened after the typhoon.
@@briankenworthy516 Yeah I'm not about surprise snakes either haha! A snake in a hotel room or toilet most likely happened after the last typhoon when a lot of the hotels suffered pretty severe damage 😢
Nice! I haven't spent enough time in Hawaii to be able to accurately compare the two, but from what I hear about Hawaii, it seems like Guam is more relaxed. You still get the beautiful island sites and awesome food, just with a more chill vibe 😊
Oh fun! Be sure to hit up all the awesome beach spots and enjoy the local food! I think by mid August school is back in session so by then it won't be too busy. Temps will likely be in the 80s daily. Late August is usually when it starts to get rainy.

THANKS AGAIN THE VIDEOS ARE ALWAYS AMAZING
Glad you enjoyed it! Stay tuned for more!
We visited Guam last month, and we enjoyed simply food-had the veggie tacos, thanks for suggesting Simply Food! 😋
Ooh! I don't think I tried their veggie tacos! Well now I have a new bucket list item haha

Aww thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. How exciting if moving to Guam is in your near future! When was the last time you were there?
