YES, a hat (maybe a beret) with the sparkle yarn added would look amazing with your sweater. A Beanie can also work to wear seperately in the winter. You definitely have options. If you still have more yarn, what about fingerless mitts (also with sparkles) 🎉😊❤

That sweater looks great! You could put the sparkly yarn and the leftover yarn together and make a lacey shawl or wrap out of it. Nice to have something to throw on when the AC out places is a bit much.

I’ve been on a mission with this one. I’ve not done much more then look at other projects. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out too.

Overall I like my body and I already have ample hips so I took the advice. I’d still like to use the sparkle yarn for something. Had I made the larger size it would be 10 inches bigger, no amount of waist shaping would bring that in.
A sweater with the sparkle and the lace, or a dress for the grandkids could be an option.
I’m currently on my 4th skein and I purchased 7 so there is plenty for another project. A spring top/dress for one of the girls might be nice.
that is my new favorite sweater - I am not quite there yet - but I too will get better so I can make one - I know it sounds dumb I keep seeing sparkly hippos lol

The sweater looks awesome! I would love to try it but you said the lace at top was trouble .I'm working on another sweater from picking book for my husband.
The way the pattern is written if you haven’t worked with charts a lot it would be confusing. What’s written and what’s intended are not the same.
The sweater is wonderful. Along with the hat, what about a lacy little handbag with the sequined arn carried along? I keep seeing that in my mind.
That would be really classy, a handbag fit special occasions
What about a headband with the same color, then you can wear it in the spring and summer also.
