This is nothing like what this anime started with, it was literally AMAZING. Then this studio took over and literally ruined it, one of the main reasons I loved this anime was the animation and fight scenes that this new studio ruined completely it's literally just a joke at this point, I went and read the manga and was satisfied by it. This anime was meant to be good and sadly it just disappeared thanks to this.

It’s weird a fighting anime that caught the attention of so many people for 2 seasons would switch studios, be a disaster and still continuing to put out new seasons even though they aren’t good.
that's true, everyone used to hype up the anime, and then after season 3 season deadly sins is barely noticeable in the shounen community now. but i still like the anime for its overall story, so i wont give up on it just because of the bad animation

Like this studio has never made a shonen before so what does the committee do? They give them less time to animate the seasons because that makes perfect sense. So then we have to outsource most of the episodes to worse studios

Towards the end of the story, it went downhill
When A1 pictures animated the first two seasons it was beautiful to watch the back grounds were well animated the characters were super consistent and not off and the colors were even different not the mention the fights were great not just because they were better animated but they had impact to them when they would punch and go flying you would see a whole cloud of smoke and like impact rings these new fights are so dull there's nothing astounding about it they're literally dull. Also Meliodas doesn't look like meliodas the hair is constantly different it throws me off. It would have been better to have waited for a better studio to pick up the series maybe madhouse, bones, Kyoto animation definitely would have delivered or imagine Ufotable this series would have been a success no doubt.

The anime is objectively bad and u can't defend it. The story was still bad regardless if a1 animated it or not but the reason why people watched 1 and 2 was because of a1 actually turning it into a quality show unlike Deen. U can clearly see the story flaws now that u don't have good animation to be pleased with.

3:54 obviously the animation was made to make Meliodas look weak because he is too strong. I mean look at this clip right here. They made him float and then lightly tap Zeldris’ shield. When in reality that step would have been fast and powerful and that punch would have been devastating. But he’s to strong for the studio so they had to bring his strength down for the safety of the viewer.
They spoiled a legend of an anime,the potential was off the charts,can't believe the studio did them this way.

And it totally makes sense why she can suddenly fight when Elizabeth wasn’t able to for the whole series. She got all of her memories back and is no longer the sheltered princess. She is now someone who fought in a war.

Anime aside, my headcanon is that at one point, Meliodas and Elizabeth got into a battle, and Elizabeth was just as cruel as Meliodas at the time. But after the battle, she had hurt him so bad that Elizabeth was filled with regnet, and Meliodas greatly humbled as well and latter falling in love. And their dialog hints alot toward this

at this point i’m *actually* not sure if this is fanmade or not.
The problem of SDS past season 2 is not just the animation, it's everything from the manga to the anime. I mean, even the manga just went out wild and abandoned every single step from "how to make a good story" manual and thrown it into the sea. It's nuts to even the whole anime production team just went like "let's wrapped this up as quick as possible and forget about it". I don't know man, from "let's make every single character an overpowered being" to "let's make them all have teenager love problem while forgetting the world building logic and story line". Worst part is, there people out there that funding it. The only good thing from SDS later season that I could find is how the voice actor do their job properly. But that's alone will not helping the overall view if the animation look like a slide show. I mean when you see the character expression that not synchronize with how they talk, that's a red flag to abandon the ship. To be honest I love SDS, Escanor Introduction will be remember as the best character introduction in anime but it was a shame that the whole anime production even the author itself make it go down hill like this.
It's not like I blame Studio Deen or Suzuki Nakaba for this, I just very disappointed to them. Studio Deen capable to make a good animation such as Konosuba, Sankarea, Initial D third stage. But why SDS become such a mess? that's what I don't understand. And Suzuki Nakaba are a good writer, his style although seems ordinary shounen but it's still had a flavor like no other, SDS even win an award at that time. But I don't know either he's bore to the series or just lost his touch, from there the story just went down hill very fast.

honestly, i don't, just because meliodas had the potential to be the next demon king only because his original power met that level. although they never revealed elizabeth's magical power, but i doubt she'd be able to surpass the supreme diety with it. she is one of the most powerful goddesses but surpassing the supreme diety is a whole different story

Fuck i watched season one and two when they came out and thought it looked like a good anime so i started reading the manga, while waiting for the new chapters i thouhght id see how the anime was going and thought god this like shit. That was like season 3, now its just depressing. Way to completly ruin something that could have been phenominal. Hats off for that and nothing else.

correct, her power level should be around 700000+ its because she defeated 2 induras of favor while each indura has a power lever much higher than 341000 ( higher than the original demon)
