When jack slapped the hell out of Kureha Shinogi was the funniest lol this was in the grappler series though matter fact when jack and Baki fought and shinogi tried to stop jack lol
What the ogre was so impressed by is that his son, reinvented his training and made it his own. The shadow boxing was so well invisioned by baki that it even fooled him. That why he was so shocked. Baki is able to truly invision with the core of his mind that it even fooled the ogre, by this, it left even yujiro truly impressed. That what this scene is in the final moments of the fight. Hes finally proud of his son.
I love that they both weren't actually trying to kill each other, they were just giving each other the beating they knew they could take. Basically, Hanma style roughhousing. And, they even managed to deepen their father/son bond in the process of giving us a crazy ass fight.
For those who never appreciated the anime and got the meaning behind this so called "wack" fight, basically if you can order the strongest person to do something for you is enough to call you powerful than the strongest person in the world. Don't say it's corny because it ended in a draw, but more look into what it means, it was said so in the anime itself.
I always understood the scene differently in the manga. More like Yujiro accepted defeat since he got pulled into Baki's fantasy at the end, and even lost his cool, playing into Baki's game. Moreover, he could no longer consider himself the strongest creature, since even though he still was stronger than Baki, Baki had risen to his tier and the gap was no longer impossible to close (as before).
Yup, like a unstoppable force meets an inmovable object. Only difference in this fight was body size and Yujiros experience and even so Baki made up for it to a extent.
Yujiro: it's just make believe you idiot. I didn't make you soup. Baki * flips the table over* Yujiro *catches it* Baki: why you trippin bro? Yujiro: Damn
@@kavijackson868of course it’s abuse. It’s stated. Who gives a fuck. “ a man so strong he grew bored and decided the only one who would be able to challenge him is his own dna” all that other bullshit is just that
What’s crazy and scary is that it took Baki 18 years to be able to go toe to toe with Yujiro and he’s not even in his prime yet he’s gonna surpass his pops sooner or later then the only way he will be able to get a good fight is if he has his own kid it’s like a Hanma cycle
I never took any baki fight serious. I just like them because they are absurd spectacles. This is the fight I expected. A battle between two broken characters at their most unrealistic feets.
Yuhiros motives aren't to hurt or kill baki he want someone who can challenge and beat him and believes baki can do it hence, "dammit baki stop the bullshit and show your father some respect and take this seriously"
I really hope that Netflix continues the story. The next chapters of the anime are fire. I would love to see Baki as the number one fighter in the world now and the aftermath of this.
I did find it sweet but odd that of all the violence in the manga, even there, there was no actual killing intent or maiming involved in this final fight. The whole series is about these two getting the guns up and when it finally happens, the manga turns the whole thing into rough housing
Yujiro acknowledged the will to still fight in baki as he wants a sparing partner he has to give up the fight as most likely to win he will have to kill baki
3:19 I have watched him say "That's enough of this shit" sounding genuinely upset so many times and I've never even watched the anime. I have no idea why but I find it hilarious.

Meh it's a mixed bag but honestly what little plot that exists is paper-thin anyway. If you enjoyed this clip and want to see more ridiculous and gorey fights then it's worth a watch. There exists much better anime, but it's a guilty pleasure.
Bear in mind a couple years earlier Baki literally could not do any damage to yujiro. Bro went from that to knocking him out and pinning him to the ground
In Yujiro's mind, as the strongest being he has no place in the kitchen. Something he most likely views as a place only for the weak or for women. The fact Baki made him "stand in the kitchen" and cook food (even if its make belief food) for him means, to Yujiro, Baki has finally surpassed him.
Yujiro, throughout the entire fight, was so god damn proud of what his boy became.
This is the most wholesome violence ever portrayed.
Yujiro telling Baki to get serious , im your father was hands down 1 of the funniest things ive seen in a while.
