The 360 makes a great noise, even without the aftermarket exhaust. From my experience the 360 is the last generation of Ferrari where the manual was better than the F1, but there are people who can now adjust the software to make it as good as the F430 08-09 models, which is very good. Although you can get to the timing belts from the hatch in the cabin, most owners find that come service time there's usually also an oil leak from a camshaft seal that needs the engine to come out anyway; if it doesn't need to, treat it as a bonus! The engine is of course a direct development of the 355 unit, hence the 5 valves and it was the 430 that got a new design. And I'm sure the missing covers at the back of the engine bay will be put back before it's sold. I like the silver though; 360s look good in lots of different colours apart from the standard red.

How many Ferraris are built with a manual nowadays do you think? Almost all Ferrari owners are not into driving at all. They are more into the whole "look at my new car, it's a Ferarri. At the golf course"-thing. Ferrari makes more selling keychords and t-shirts then they do making cars. True story.
If I ever learn how to drive a manual, the 360 will no doubt be my dream car of choice. Or a Viper SRT10... I know, two totally different cars. Choices, choices.
@@hakeemsd70m You should learn! You can find classes everywhere and if not get a neighbour or friend with one to teach you! It's really not difficult at all! 70% of Asia/Africa and a lot of people in Europe have only ever driver manuals.
Great review, thanks, looks like they go for $85k ish for the paddle shift versions. Would love to see you review a 275 GTB/4 if one ever rolls into the shop.
Sticky switches are too often highlighted as something you need to send off, with a little patience and just some internal cleaning fluid you can get them pretty good, mine are completely fixed now and was not that much time to do. Great video overall and thanks
I have seen some good 360s are way over $100K which means you can get a California or FF! At latest for California and FF they have dual dry clutch F1 instead of single clutch F1
The last V8 Ferrari that made my heart beat. That simple yet effective styling is what makes the difference here, whereas those (no offence) idiotic headlights of the 458 or baroque door treatment of 488 and F8 simply do not work. And analogue interiors are SO much better than digitals. This car mindblowed me as a teenager
I'd rather have one of these as an automatic and the pay for a conversion to a manual. The best car I ever had was an 86 Tercel. Why? Because it was so fun to drive. The saying is true: I'd rather drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow. So as far as Ferraris are concerned, I'd think I'd be much happier with a relatively slower Ferrari than a modern one, and one that particularly has a stick shift. I don't equate 'fun' with automatics, even dual-clutch "automatics". To me, if it doesn't have a 3rd foot pedal, you're basically taking the fun-factor out to some degree.
My biggest concern with this car is the parts. Is there any aftermarket for this model? If you want to rebuild the engine, do you need to buy parts directly from Ferrari exclusively? How frequently do you need a rebuild and how expensive is it?
If taken care of well, the car is very reliable. I have a 2002 and have had no major issues to date. Oh and i drive mine weekly. I am not afraid to put miles on it
@@rajishjose9585 thanks for the reply. It seems many people have differing experiences with this car. How many miles have you put on the car? Have you had to do any major services?
If all goes well, I’m copping one of these babies in the next few months 😁 I think the silver looks so good with it and there’s one in my area with low mileage it all feels like it’s meant to be 😁😁
@@FerrarisOnline That would be great. Most of them were sold in the US. Mine is supposedly 1 of 2 sold in Germany. Apart from this curiosity, I love the 360 Modena.
change F1 clutch every 10/15.000km, which is not cheap !Definitely only a 360 manual tmho 👌🏻 A F430 will be more reliable and almost same price range as well (F1)

F*ck F1 transmissions into the ground. They are horrible. Want a sportscar? Better be ready to do sportscar driving. Which means a manual. Also, you might be thinking of the F355.
This. Along with old school viper. Have both been my ideal choice for “cheap” super cars if I ever have the money. I feel the American dodge will be way cheaper owner experience over all.
Absolutely beautiful car. They are very affordable by Ferrari standards. And you can pick one up for less than the price of a Tesla Model S or X. I hear in 2022 that you should steer away from the soft tops though. Because they have almost a 100% failure rate. And I hear the price to repair or replace those soft tops is astronomical. So going hard top would be the only way to go in my opinion. I also hear that sometimes they break when they just sit in the garage hahahahahahahaha. That often the 360s that are driven the most are much more reliable than ones that are never driven. But this can be true about all cars. Cars don't like to sit. And they will break by sitting for too long. If I got one of these cars I would put major miles on it hahaha. To me it is so stupid when people buy cars only to have them sit and never driven, or driven very little. But I hear that they are reliable if they are maintained and driven regularly. Ones that have sat in a museum or sat in a collection will break a lot more
Nice review.. but the F1 box is still crap. You'll be at a light and the car just won't go into gear. The system doesn't get more reliable as it ages. The 360 section on Ferrarichat has at least 1 post on the F1 transmission on any day. Go for the stick if your budget allows.
is this car still worth to buy? 70,000euros with manual mission. 80,000km... everybody can maintain like you? where should I go to when something is broken??
You're so right about the colour. It looks so much better than red or yellow. Great vid. Thanks Coleen. Btw nice to see you back. Was missing seeing the vids. It's one of my favourite shows. Keep it up, thanks. 😁👍

Great cars though would always go for a manual 360 as gearchange so good.
Before we started doing the videos we had one, so hopefully wecwill have one soon.
A 20 years old Ferrari 360 still looks more beautiful than today's supercars tbh
Sticky switches are too often highlighted as something you need to send off, with a little patience and just some internal cleaning fluid you can get them pretty good, mine are completely fixed now and was not that much time to do. Great video overall and thanks
Hi what is internal cleaning fluid? Thank you.
@@RichardWarner-df7dz I just used internal detailed spray on a cloth, slowly rubbed away! Can’t remember the brand right now am afraid
Iam a new sub, great work.I look forward to more of your videos. I have a F430
Thanks. F430s are fun cars too!
Love mine, especially with the TCU upgrade and challenge wheels!
Ferrarisonline Beautiful car
Cool video! Those are incredible production numbers for Ferrari. Great presentation.
Great video, I really enjoyed this one, thanks!
Thabks for watching!
What a great and (at least right now) undervalued car. 360s are unfortunately going up in price right now.
Great video Great car !
Here from Vins 360 build, I think this is the same lady with the F50?
My biggest concern with this car is the parts. Is there any aftermarket for this model? If you want to rebuild the engine, do you need to buy parts directly from Ferrari exclusively? How frequently do you need a rebuild and how expensive is it?
If taken care of well, the car is very reliable. I have a 2002 and have had no major issues to date. Oh and i drive mine weekly. I am not afraid to put miles on it
@@rajishjose9585 thanks for the reply. It seems many people have differing experiences with this car. How many miles have you put on the car? Have you had to do any major services?
Thanks for another great video!
If all goes well, I’m copping one of these babies in the next few months 😁 I think the silver looks so good with it and there’s one in my area with low mileage it all feels like it’s meant to be 😁😁
6 speed manual one just sold on bring a trailer for $100k. I'd prob take that over a manual r8
Awesome video, absolutely love the 360. I’ll get one at some stage ❤️
Nice review. Good job 👍
I have 2002 spider. Great car. Faster and more robust than the numbers show. This is a low spec in this video. I wish i had a gated 6 speed though
I love this and the Ferrari 430 Scuderia even more for the fact that it has a manual version
We need a f430 video
As always, you speak about ferrari, I listen 🤗😎
I am starting to like the 360 more and more as a good friend has one. The F1 gearbox is the absolute weak point. Man box for me only!
I dig the jacket
I have learned to admire you more than the 360
What does maintenance look like annually if it’s daily driven?
Much better than Supercar Blonde
Modena got the most beautiful back
I don't know anyone else who's super literate about Ferraris as you are.......
I want a 348 manual an f355 manual and this with the F1
Love your show!!
hey! I live in Newport, and ride my 360 on those roads too!
Awesome! Its a great place to drive.
Very good presentation. Really beautiful Ferrari. Reasonably priced here in New Zealand.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Great video 🍻
RE Reverse stick. Maybe they didnt want you to throw it in reverse by mistake?
Always use a trickle charger to keep the battery charged.
We not gonna talk about the dirtbikes in the bCk
Great video with good info - I'm currently looking to buy 360 coupe only though.
This one is for sale.
I have an ultra rare 360 Modena with a factory sunroof, rumour has it, that only 25 or so were made.
And only 2 challenge stradles came with sunroofs. 😀 i think theres like 2-5 360s with sunroof in the US i would have to check our database.
@@FerrarisOnline That would be great. Most of them were sold in the US. Mine is supposedly 1 of 2 sold in Germany. Apart from this curiosity, I love the 360 Modena.
I wonder, could 360 have a double meaning, like “coming full circle” 360° sort of thing.
change F1 clutch every 10/15.000km, which is not cheap !Definitely only a 360 manual tmho 👌🏻
A F430 will be more reliable and almost same price range as well (F1)
F*ck F1 transmissions into the ground. They are horrible. Want a sportscar? Better be ready to do sportscar driving. Which means a manual. Also, you might be thinking of the F355.
This. Along with old school viper. Have both been my ideal choice for “cheap” super cars if I ever have the money.
I feel the American dodge will be way cheaper owner experience over all.
Thank you very much coleen appreciate it 🍾
Absolutely beautiful car. Ones that have sat in a museum or sat in a collection will break a lot more
Really useful video. Thanks
Definitely need a manual one though
You're so right about the colour. It looks so much better than red or yellow. Great vid. Thanks Coleen.
Btw nice to see you back. Was missing seeing the vids. It's one of my favourite shows. Keep it up, thanks. 😁👍
