- Arkanoid - Eternal Battle marks the return of the emblematic block breaker game in a surprising, renewed version. The new gameplay trailer introduces the four game modes:
- Retro: Teleport yourself in an old school arcade parlor back in 1986 and enjoy the original game like if you were there!
- Neo: This solo mode expands on the classic gameplay with brand-new levels, a modern and stylish art direction & sounds as well as new unique blocks, bonuses and effects!
- Versus: Play locally with 2 to 4 players on the same screen!
- Eternal Battle: For the very first time, 25 players can challenge each other online in an exclusive Battle Royale mode! Use your power ups to gain advantage and aim at the top score to be the last one standing and win the game!

I'm hyped for this, my childhood game getting a damn multiplayer and battle royale mode, I can finally do some casual competitive gaming with Arkanoid, same thing that they did with Pacman Championship Edition :3

my idea was player one is the paddle and player 2 is the ball.
(may be boring for some, but most little kids will never know.)

bon apparement le jeu d'origine d'arcade sera disponible c'est justement çà qui m'interesse car de ce que je vois du remake ou des modes de jeux çà m'attire pas du tout mais je le prendrais quand même en physique juste pour jouer au jeu d'origine de l'époque.
The mouse controls are extremely buggy for me, the bat moves somewhat faster to the left than to the right (especially when moving slowly), meaning that my mouse constantly drifts to the right. Maybe this is because I'm playing on a high fps (180 Hz) monitor, very weird.
Having sudden issues connecting to the Eternal Battle game within the past couple of days... No problems up until then... Anyone else experiencing issues?

@Microids am i the only one that has pain in the eyes in battle mode when the oponnets screen are rotatting in the background ? the problem is not that the screens are moving but that i can see it on my background. i really hope that this can be changed, i am a big fun of this game but i almost cant bare this behaviour.
can you play the game with a mouse?

Well yeah... different doesn't mean better, and Arkanoid is an extremely under rated arcade game that never gets any love. I'm absolutely down for this.

Arkanoid and other breakout games were great in the arcade with a paddle controller. They were always much harder to control and no fun to play on the home computers and consoles. The Only the Atari 2600 and Nintendo DS had a paddle controller (which was released wiht Arkanoid DS). Unless this game releases with a paddle controller it is just going to be absolutely horrible to play and no fun at all. You absolutely have to have the right controller for each type of game.
