This is Arkanoid Eternal Battle for the Switch

A modern release of the classic Arkanoid game. It's Arkanoid with some slight additions. The versus game mode is probably the standout of this cart and the fact that you can play this against the computer is nice.
Super strange that there's no level editor available on this one. My Arkanoid 2 cart from the mid 80s has a level editor... close to 20 years of advancement and you don't include it? Strange to me.

Honestly, now that think about it, Arkanoid or Breakout feels like the evolution of Pong, from 2 players to single player

Wish there was an Arcade Spinner controller for this. Has there been any updates to the game?

I did buy it for 3 € on GOG for Windows (PC). For that price it is okaish, but I agree, the retro Arkanoid has no options at all, no savegame, nothing. And you are totally right: they didn't included any simple level editor. Come'on Microids! What the hell were they thinking? And the online mode is more or less dead. So, only single and local/splitscreen play does works today.
Sad, because this could be an excellent game, if the would make some changes/upgrades.

Does the switch version have mouse support? If so u can use usb spinner.

Don't know. I never tried to get a mouse working with a switch. That is a really interesting idea. I may research. Thanks!
