As a result, they are one of the chief measurements of greatness - those teams with the most Majors to their name are immediately in the conversation as some of the greatest, and no great player's career feels complete without claiming this most important of titles.
Yet there are some otherwise legendary players who still haven't quite managed to break that barrier and lift a Major trophy - some of whom may well have chances to rectify that in future, others who have likely missed their best shot.
In this video, esports historian Duncan 'Thorin' Shields takes you through his top 10 CS:GO players who have not secured a Major victory.

@@daanishgupta Yeah Niko still has the skills to win one but Karrigan was the only IGL he would listen to and since he didn't win he will IGL himself and only lead high fragging teams who just aren't consistent enough to win a major
Additionally faze won't go all out on a super team again
@@daanishgupta Cloud9 did prevent Niko, Karrigan, and Guardian from having a major, but that was more of a choke on their end. And the window was still open at the Faceit Major. They were the closest to beating Astralis. I'd say the Faceit Major was the nail in the coffin for Karrigan getting kicked.

This is a CS:GO video, not 1.6 and on a 1.6 list he wouldn't be included since he won 4 1.6 majors with NaVi.
At the start of GO he was a meh support player and a massive drag factor in his teams from 2017 and onwards.

Then the camera showed it was a double no scope with the 2nd one being at range. The realization after was what caused a huge impact like WTFFFF IT WAS ACT A NOSCOPE

I think guardian should be higher than niko tbh. Top15 player for like the entire duration of csgo until 2019 and finalist at 3 majors. Niko doesn't have either of those achievements.
Possibly, but Guardian had a down year in 2016, and NiKo is on pace to finish top 5 again this year individually. After this year, Niko will have 5 to Guardian's 6 top 20 HLTV with a far better average placing. Guardian has had more cracks at Major finals but NiKo has been by far the better individual performer aside from 2015 where Guardian was nuclear and undoubtedly the best AWPer in the world. If NiKo has a top 5 finish this year his career average in HLTV placings will be almost half what Guardians is (or almost doubly better.) over a similar amount of years. I think taking all of it into context its actually extremely fair to put NiKo ahead of Guardian honestly after doing the research.

I don’t know what all the hate to TACO is about. He’s the best support player I know. He baits himself for coldzera (used to), and Fallen, and still managed to top frag some games. He has a great personality and seems to bring the team together no matter which one he’s on.
