7:03 Had to double check it and correct this part: All teams including BIG did come to the gentlemen's agreement not to use the bug. The agreement was made after the second day of the swiss stage so BIG had benefited from the bug in their first two wins, but didn't use it in their third third group stage match or the quarterfinal.
Also other teams including those who agreed not to use the bug, also used the bug following the agreement. It's all fine and dandy to stand around and say 'ah it's bad, lets not use it'. But when you're down a map and there's money on the line it's a different story. I 100% remember players from NaVi and some brazilian players using the bug. It's very unfair to just say BIG used it for an easy run to the playoffs when they were actually playing very good CS.
Fantastic! Something people often forget to mention about the Fnatic-LDLC controversy. Is the fact that LDLC used a simular boost to stomp fnatic in the first half hence why fnatic countered with their own boost which they had tried in practice. Following the game LDLC complained to the tournament organisers because of a visual glitch with a texture visable from the fnatic boost (Foliage disappearing on a background building allowing slight visability into mid. The organisers decided to replay the second half which caused Fnatic to appealed by stating that the LDLC boost which had been used to great effect during the first half had the same glitch appear in the same spot aswell as multiple others (most out of bounds). The tournament organisers then decided to replay the map entirely. Fnatic however after having their players recieve death threats & other insane nastiness decided to forfeit the match. Leading the French to their first major trophy :)
This was one of the first CS tournaments I really keyed into watching every match. This was such a new and mindblowing situation to watch unfold, and I am glad I did see that part of CS history.
exactly not many people mention that ldlc used a similar boost that was just worse. the real controversy was fnatic giving up because of the hate they got when they didnt do more wrong than ldlc
Awesome video, wish you would've taken 20 minutes instead of 15 and include some more highlights from each Major tho. Like maybe the last few seconds of the final map on every Major? Either way this video was a trip. I started CS in 2014 and i remember the first Major match i saw was LDLC vs Fnatic. Such an awesome moment and something that will forever be engraved in esports history.
Just had to say, was watching almost this whole video before I realised you only had 115 subs. Great video man, with this level of content its only a matter of time before you make a name for yourself
No it’s not true that BIG used the jump bug despite a gentlemen’s agreement. The agreement was only made partway through the Swiss stage and BIG was part of it and adhered to the agreement
great video, you earned one more subscriber today and i cant believe this video got 72k views and your subscribers are in low triple digits. 9:32 technically vertigo wasnt brand new to csgo, but i think the remake was the only version of vertigo that made it into the official map pool.
Nice video, wouldve preferred if you had a few more highlights and maybe shown the playoffs brackets etc, maybe the flags and players of the finalists, but just some small feedback, still a very good video! Cant wait for CS2
4:17 not sure why you waited till here to talk about NA when the first few majors had NA teams in the playoffs constantly. The coL/C9 roster made Legends several times in early majors, and iBP as a whole...
You forgot to mention in the Antwerp Major about the m0nesy smoke bug and also FaZe became the first international team to win a Major. Banger video though for a 115 subscribed channel
Damn dude. This is unfortunate. Great idea for the video, but I wish you included more nighlights for each one. I understand that lengthens the video, but still: W E L O N G B O I S
This made me feeling old. Just yesterday the Nuke were updated and everyone FPS crashed. 7 years you say😮? Can't remember if i saw simple noscope, but I'm definitely remember stew round. I can't remember if i went to sleep after it tho. UPD: first video? Is this some kind of joke?
12:30 5% of Brazilians can speak English and less than 1% fluently so that's why only a few of them answered, but if Furia had managed to get into the finals it would've been crazy
C9 had to beat astralis in 0-2 pool, and in the playoffs they had to beat 3 top 5 teams to win. They had to beat g2 (ranked 4th), sk (ranked 1) and faze (ranked 2) consecutively. They had the hardest major winning run ever, at least imo
okay you say going into MLG Columbus that NA hasn't mattered till now, while that's mostly true you did not mention the incredible play that coL made to make top 4 on inferno
I believe the London major was shown on Sky Sports, which was a huge deal for an eSports tournament being shown on a huge platform. Nothing beats the Rio crowd though, I hope we see another Brazil major in the future.
You know Dupreeh could technically retire and be the best CSgo player ever!! Just saying win you talk about the biggest tournaments you don't say simple much.
7:04 is hugely misleading. BIG abused the bug in the group stage, like most teams. The agreement was only reached after the group stage and BIG DID agree to it.
The Real Legend was there at the end, Dupreeh, played every single major, and won 5 of them.
The Real Legends are the friends we made along the way
@@beeleaveme The true GOAT.
Was gonna say left that part out , Dupreeh is the most successful major counter strike player ever no doubting it
Real grinder 🎉

What a nostalgia trip. Can't wait to see what CS2 has in store.
It has jack shit on store

best first video of any youtube channel ever? Keep it going!
great vid :3

so much nostalgia... dont even watch or play much cs these days but watching this video brought back some great memories
Be consistent on your content man this is good, i think you're gonna make it big someday
solid video wow. this channel will blow up in the cs scene

CSGO got weird after Faze won. And the last trophy the french won looks like a toddler made it.
only two of them are French. More of an international team
the blast tv trophy are just.. meh.
looks like a a butplug haha
Toddler? More like a sex shop
Nice video. Make a video digging into players of each major winning team will make it even more nostalgic
Video was fire I was shocked when I seen you didn’t have a lot of subs

that cloud9 comeback was literally the peak. ive debated it forever whether it was that or the virtus plow era but we gotta give na some credit
nice video, breaking down 10 years of history into a concise 15 minutes 👍
stevie’s inferno clutch for OT will never not give chills, NA’s savior
as a newer CS fan, that clip reminded me of m0nesy's inferno b-site clutch
Really well done video! keep it up!

93 subs but one banger of a video
I appreciate it

Wait there used to be 3 majors a year?
Also maybe in a future video you could include 1.6 majors, altough they werent official.
As a navi fan and Former VP ultra can only say: Atlanta and Krakau Broke my heart to invisivble 😢
Great video man, very nostalgic even though I started watching cs in late 2019 :)
Very interesting!
Rio grand final, sleeping crowd is still the best crowd according to Brazilians 😂😂
First video, and a banger. Next milestone: 1 Millions subs.
I love Jankaping
that video is made very good.
I wish you had said how Zeus got kicked out of Navi only to win the major with gambit and coming back to NAVI
You mentioned all the map changes except -DustII +Anubis for the Paris major lmao

Could have added that Fnatic only won the Katowice 2015 final because a famous hit register problem at 14-14 in the first map...

It was really fun putting this together, put me down memory lane.
This is what makes cs so special, there are always surprises and Cinderella runs. Franchised esports are so lame
qbf run never forget
You know... you could do like a yearly review for all of CSGO. Make every year its own video and get a lot of content out of it.
Nice video

Vox Eminor aint an Australian Team?
there will be a few more csgo majors because according to sources cs2 won't come until 2032
"Brazil put on a show" Yeah the crowd only came to the tournament if there was a Brazilian team playing. Brazil doesn't deserve gaming events ever.
is it kelly or kookly? i still dunno
why is it that every NA person says c9 major is the "best in history"?
home crown underdog winning, something of which never happened before.
