I know that you specifically requested that we refrain from making certain kinds of comments but I am having trouble understanding why. It seems fairly important. I get that trusting in God is good and can give you a kind of internal peace. But shouldn't what we do matter too? Shouldn't we want more than just peace internally?

You may have misunderstood what I was saying. The Civil War is a very divisive topic, especially when it comes to race relations and reasons as to why the Confederacy existed. Far too often in today's world, people want to use the topic as a way to simply getting their skewed talking points in without having a clue as the working framework of history that brought the war about. I did not want simple modern day baiting comments left which had nothing to do with what I was actually talking about the in video.
