OMG I was a teacher and there was a book called Mrs. Wishy Washy. I had this one little boy who would read it to me and the way he said Mrs. Wishy washy was so freaking adorable and brought joy to me while I was struggling as a first year teacher!
Because it is the only dishwasher model available that will fit, I recommend you buy a spare right now and put it into storage as it's a certainty you will eventually need it. I've followed you since your early RV days and look forward to each new video. Keep up the good work, and thanks for sharing your fun.
Hooray for Jason and his beloved dishwasher! Christmas has come early for him.. 😂. I hope Nikki got something she wanted as well, aside from a new boat.. 😊
Out of all the UA-camrs that are getting new boats. Sailing VB, Ruby Rose, Doodles, Your boat is the one I like the most! Great Lines, Cool color, Awesome Tender, stylish interior, over all just Great choices on your interior colors and equipment choices. Congrats. Thanks for Putting HH boats on our Radar. And thanks for showing us your Friend at electrified marina. That’s a cool business model I hope it goes well.
I think for active sailing, this too is my choice. A performance cat seems like the best blend of living, cruising and sailing. I absolutely love the hybrid systems combined with a high performance sailing vessel. The alternate approach that appeals for a live aboard is the NautiStyles Bering explorer. Extremely self sufficient luxury home on the water. As a senior, 5 star luxury starts to look appealing.
Jason, buy a second identical dishwasher now for redundancy. It’s a common problem that when appliances are built into cabinets, eventually they break and nothing can be found that fits into the custom space. We are dealing with that now with in our kitchen, with the microwave.
You are absolutely right. Hope they can see your comment. Top-loading dishwashers are very rare to see in the market. After several years no one can ensure if there's still one to be found.
I’m considering adding the sink/dishwasher version of what they have to my catamaran, but you bring up an excellent point-if I custom build the countertop to fit this appliance and the dishwasher fails, if it can’t be repaired I’m stuck with a hole in the countertop that can’t be matched and I’ll need to replumb and replace. I’m thinking now that I keep the sink install separate from the dishwasher install.
I want to thank, both of you, for the influence you've had in my life. I've followed your channel since the Class A days. I vividly remember your solar install and boonedocking episodes, especially Florida in that rig. I must admit I gave up on your channel when you decided to sail and not RV. That was short lived. Today, I sit here at Three Lakes Wildlife Management area in Central FL boondocking in my Class C. My wife and I traveled full-time 3 1/2 years, in our Newmar Class A, after retirement in 2017 but ended up buying a home in Winter Haven. Two years ago, I purchased a Morgan 383 monohull which is finally ready to sail. At 71 years, it's time I learned. All of this probably wouldn't have happened without you both showing me the way. I thank you. May you both have a Merry Christmas. I look for to your new catamaran adventures. God bless.
Congratulations Nikki & Jason on the installation of the Ni'n'Ja dishwasher! Can't wait to see how it performs during sea trials. This is an event of almost Biblical proportions that will no doubt remain forever a favorite in this channel. Merry Christmas + Fair Winds and Blue Waters for 2024!
I was going to suggest another name for the dishwasher, but your “Ni’n’Ja” name is perfect! Describes where it’s placed, how it hides, and pay homage to the owners! I vote for this name!!! ❤❤
Good to see the Kiwi element all ready to go. My daughter went to Beijing when she was 22 years old to teach English, and lived there for 6 years before returning to New Zealand. She always says that she felt way safer there than any other country she has been too. The only thing she felt uncomfortable with at first, was the attention she got, being a slim, blonde European girl. You have kept the same name for boat (Curiosity), so maybe you should keep the same name for your dish washer .....Jason.
TEAM Together! 🎉😁❤ Name her Debbie Does Dishes 😂lol ✔️✔️✔️ Yay!!! Very impressive seeing the mast go up! Thank you Jason for editing and thank you Nikki for going and filming. Have fun!! Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year!🎉
Congratulations Jason and Nicki! Things are looking beautiful! As for a name for the dishwasher, Josephine Cochran invented the dishwasher. How about pay homage to her? Josephine, Josie?
I believe I skipped piling on before because I thought the point was made. I also figured it was more light hearted fun rather than being serious. But I can tell you it’s worth it for the dishwasher. On top of all the items you noted, when you put a price on your time and accumulate it over a year, it adds up. And to flip the script, props to you Nikki for valuing Jason’s time! 🎉
lol, i love his excitement about a dishwasher. i especially love nikki's ability to sluff off the comments. ive been following you two since you first few days in your rv and you two never cease to amaze me. as an old old woman who conformed to my self imposed limitations i love watching you two explore your curiosity. thank you for sharing your journey. btw, if jason needs more storage he can always use the dishwasher.
So... When you mentioned how long you have been traveling it reminded me how we found you... Search... "Composting Toilets" And there you were! We met the Wynn's LOL! (So many puns I could have used but for the sake of the children..LOL) Within a year we sold everything bought a truck and 18' trailer, a Thousand Trails Package and traveled the country watching every video along the way... Like you we took Cleo-our kitty with us and adventured the USA. Thanks for all the wonderful lessons... Unfortunately we opted out of sailing and instead decided to travel and live in Europe... Albania being our first 1 year adventure. I guess I just wanted to say Thanks! You inspired us.. Got us out of our apartment, working online fulltime, and seeing the world! Wish you the best During the Holiday and Fingers crossed for your new adventure to start soon "EARLY" next year. All the Best! - RJ
Your excitement and fun is always so contagious! I was grinning the whole time I was watching this video! 😊 Name for the dishwasher? “JD” of course, for Jason’s dishwasher! 🙌
Driving jet powered boats is a learning process you seem to have mastered quickly. I owned a high-performance jet boat for 20 years and have driven many other jet craft over that time. Second nature to me but what folks unfamiliar with them may not realize is, if throttle isn't used, no steering! IF the jet isn't throwing water out the back, there is no thrust for steering. Why so many accidents happen with jet skis. People panic heading for something and let off the power. Worst thing to do!! Some pumps have a rudder attached below the thruster that gives a little bit of steering for emergencies, but the main steering is the jet. This is no news to jet owners, jet skiers, wave runners, any evidently you, but thought might be interesting for non-jet folks. Great vid and wonderful ending to 2023.
Happy holidays, Merry Christmas!! Nope, thank you for sharing 2023 with us. #teamwynns and #teamyoutubefamily for solving the dishwasher! You're right, you can't help but smile on the tender. "See" you in 2024! 🎉❤
🎉❤️🎉❤️🎉 Yeah for team dishwasher!! (Notice I’m not saying team Jason.) Team effort made it happen!!! Everything looks great! Happy holidays! Love you two and can’t wait for January. Wishing you all the best! ❤️❤️
1:45 to 4:10 is the best part of this whole youtube series, congratulations Jason! This whole dishwasher thing became so big, but on the whole (an expensive brandnew shiny catamaran with so much real estate) this HH44 should not be without one!
I am stoked about the completed mask. The dishwasher installation looks great. Maybe call it Chap, as in a friend and no chapped dishwashing hands. Chap can do the dishes. Your dingy is over the top. Enjoy your adventure exploring west. Be safe, enjoy life. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year looking forward to waterborne adventures ahead. 👍⛵️🏝️
Wahooooo the dishwasher is in!!! That is a perfect fit for the space and the best decision! Curiosity is looking absolutely STUNNING!! You guys are sooooooooooo close!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year enjoy!!
Nikki, you are a star - way to go. :) One idea - don't know how practical, but I know your research skills are outstanding and you will be able to figure it out... About the tender being only electric - maybe there is a portable solar kit you can get to charge it in a pinch if you get stuck somewhere? There are some good ones that fold up small, but I don't know how resilient they are in salt water.... good idea to check maybe?
What a thrilling video. Exciting to see, even with the unfortunate delays, that things are really coming together. Besides the joy of the dishwasher, the quiet tender and the stunning new cushions, I found myself mesmerized by the stepping of the mast. As it came together so beautifully encompassing beauty in design, function and precision. I hope you carried out the tradition of placing the coin/coins beneath the mast. May the New Year bring you joy and smooth sailing wherever Curiosity takes you💖
Our first dish washer (marriage saver) back in 1966 was a top loading dish washer. We're on dish washer number 3 or 4 now. The first was the best, washed the cleanest, cost the least. The newer front loading dish washers have gaskets around the door which accumulates food waste and must be cleaned and cleaned and cleaned, etc. And there are other drawbacks. Anyhow, enjoying your videos and looking forward to more adventures with the new "Curiosity". Happy sailing.
Happy holidays for you two. I wish you good health and happiness and fair winds and calm seas for next year. Why not name the dishwasher Kent. After all, he has been a great help at the start of your sealife. Anyway, thank you for giving us a lot of enjoyment. Greetings from The Netherlands!
You need to check if your dingy has any kind of a rudder, or if it only steers by using the jet nozzle. If you don't have a rudder, you'll need to learn to turn with power on. Because once you chop the power, the boat will straighten out and no matter how hard you push the tiller, it wont steer. Lots of new jet boat owners find this out the hard way. Congrats on the dishwasher Jason!
Gutted. Was preparing my CV for position of permanent live aboard dishwasher. But besides my disappointment, a Merry Christmas and a happy sailing New Year to you both and all your many worldwide followers and friends.
The dishwasher is a really magical addition, which I would consider to be the ‘Curiosity Fairy Cupboard’! Dirty crocks go in and some short time later clean one’s come out.😊
Merry Christmas to all! Unfortunately, I've missed many episodes the last year, just being busy with our own travels. Started watching 'team Wynns' from their RVing days, giving us some fabulous tips along the way, of which we still RV of course, as we've always preferred our feet on terra firma, wanting to see more of North America, and the people within it. Best of the season, to all the subscribers, best wishes to all to end this season, and enter into 2024! It seems to fast how we've moved from our fears of the year 2000 coming up, and here we're 24 years further along, and still enjoying our travel seasons!
I am so excited. I was Team Jason. I use my home dishwasher for drying too. No glasses ever in sink. How about Dolly the Dishwasher? Because she is cute!!
I think you should name the new dishwasher “Stewart” - because it’s a steward of your kitchen. Happy Holidays and cant wait to see the Splash day video.
Can't wait to see you out on open seas! As for dishwashing, I find wearing gloves a huge boon whether it's washing dishes or just rinsing them for the dishwasher. Mr Clean makes a sturdy set that's lightweight not too heavy. 😂❤🎉 edit: a high mounted night vision camera is absolutely brilliant!
I think it's awesome that you're going electric for the dingy! For what and how you normally use one, it should do just fine, it's nice stable platform, and it's never going to lose air.
So excited for you both! I know it's been frustrating, but ultimately, a well-built and safe boat is the goal for many years of amazing adventures sailing ⛵️ around the world. Merry Christmas and enjoy your interim travels! 2024 will be a year of fair winds and following seas!
You managed to improvise a pretty decent year in video and keep the wind in our sail. Thanks and I am looking forward to a great 2024 with you at the helm.
Merry Christmas to you both! Hubby said the dishwasher should be named Betty, whilst I think Medea (Medea plays the archetypal role of helper-maiden, aiding Jason in his search for the Golden Fleece)
As well as you guys prepare for the unknown, it might be useful to look at the flex solar panels that you can fold or roll for storage under edge rail of the tender. If you get stranded due to battery level you can take a moment to charge it up and make it home.
Back in the early 90's, I had a top loading dishwasher in my apartment. It was full sized and you had to wheel it to the sink, attach a hose and then run it. I loved that thing. I don't know why because you had to have a strong back to load and unload the dishes at the bottom and it wasn't that convenient. When not in use however, it gave me quite a bit of extra counter space. I feel the love for the top loading washer.
Yes, nice to have a dishwasher. The dishwasher isn't really needed for 2 people, still good to have. The tender is one I would have picked having seen all the boats tested. Nice going. I am glad the boat is coming along and I hope to see it sailing soon.
Call the dishwasher "LAVA" Latin for wash!!!!..Glad your Cad is coming on cant wait until the two of you arrive off some exotic island with her first Major sail!!!!..AWSOME❤🙏...happy Holidays???..you mean Merry Christmas??...in one sentence i never knew water and Electric would one day be a great safety feature????...i see a barbeque though in the future??..Lithium batteries have a tendencie to ignite by themselves if over heated!!!!..be careful guys!!!
Had to chuckle at 5:12 when Jason said, "that's why it's so dark in here..." cut to below decks in the new La Vagabonde tri-hull and it's so pitch black with the dark finishes they should name that boat the The Pit of Despair.
Majority knew it was a “fun” debate about DW & glad u got it. May you both experience Joy & Peace over Christmas & throughout a long awaited year 2024. We love your channel. 🇨🇦 ❤
Grand Finale, love the Tender, wow it can move! Yeah, Dishwasher, that is wonderful! My Mother in Law years ago had a top loading portable DW. She took it from House to House. Even in new Custom Built house she kept her Top Loading DW! Thank you for the glimpse of the City. Good Luck, Merry Christmas, and Enjoy Tibet! Be Safe! God Bless you both!
That DW is pretty cool. Like how the lid lifts up. That would be amazing in an RV. BTW: The original DW in the 60s were all top loading. When you lifted the lid the top rack came up. CONGRATULATIONS JASON!!!!
when we moved into the house we have now it had an inground pool. It came with an automatic pool cleaner that you just put on and forget. The kids were naturally all about the pool so I'd say something like go put the ..... automatic pool cleaner on, please but quickly realized, it needed a name. It became "Alice" after the maid from the Brady Bunch :) You should name your dishwasher "Alice" :) BTW, while we're miles behind you getting ready for full time RV'ing, love all your videos and wish you all the best as you navigate this current adventure, waiting for your boat and looking forward to your year as you explore new places with new equipment. I also noticed and had a couple of questions on the name on the boat. Its not Curiosity 2? 2.0? and whats with "bikini"? Thanks.
Just checking, but there was a reply for me to respond using Telegram. Which I've done and now communicating with "someone" that I"m just not sure is the Wynn's. Can someone confirm? Thanks.
Hi, no that is definitely not us. Also, oddly enough I cannot see that reply here - it doesn't show up in the GWTW comments. Hmmmmmmm. These are spammers who steal the GWTW logo to create their accounts and are trying to get your information. We report and delete them all the time but they find better ways to sneak in. It's very frustrating. If you check at the top of this reply, the GWTW user name has a "verified" checkmark beside it. That will be the only true GWTW account. If you could, please click on the account name that you're corresponding with (I assume it's something like GoneWithTheWynnsAtTelegram) and open their UA-cam account page. You'll see that they have very few subscribers & no content. Click on the "about" button on their page and choose "report this account". Follow the prompts to report them as impersonating GWTW. We'd appreciate your help and are hoping that eventually UA-cam will get enough complaints to stop these bad actors. Thanks for the help! Oh, Bikini is Curiosity's new home port! There will eventually be a video explaining how they chose Bikini and covering other logistical details like insurance, etc. So stay tuned! Curious MInion
Long time UA-cam follower and Scuba instructor in St. Augustine. I just certified two of your friends, Craig & Katy from Scotland. Just wanted to say hello.
Dishwasher in my house was brand new four yrs ago and has never been used lol , Merry Christmas to you both at least you still have each other to be with some of us will be celebrating it alone cant wait to see where the new year take you guys the only way Ill ever get to see beautiful tropical places is through your videos which ya do an awesome job at .
I watch both your and La vagabonds videos and find it so interesting watching both your videos. Both building new boats. One cat, one tri.. one has almost full electric and one with almost none. Great side by side comparison.
Some suggestions for naming the dishwasher: "Argo" (Jason and the Argonauts), "I Wynn" (hahaha, obvious but maybe not so nice). Suggestion for naming the tender: "Nine Lives". "Curiosity" killed the cat, but "Nine Lives" brought it back. Nice play on words, if I do say so myself. Cant's wait to see you on the water again, I'm sure you are both chomping at the bit as well.
Hello Curiosity crew, thank you for this very informative video. Jason has requested suggestions, for a historically accurate name for the new dishwasher, so it seems to me the most logical suggestion would be "Nikki". I remember her saying, she did not want or need a dishwasher because she was fine with Jason doing the dishes. The tender was a good call and I hope the HH folks can install The davit solution to store it out of the water. Davits have been the most common lifting solution and much safer than towing, especially in heavy seas. I wish you a Merry Christmas. Cheers from Canada.
I can not wait to see you on the new boat but probably not as much as you want to be on it. You really make it hard for other sailing channels to compete as you set the bar so high. But that does make others try to catch up to you. Thanks for the show.
Congratulations on it being *almost* done. Here's hoping that 2024 and the new boat brings you all the stability and sense of home that 2023 and 2022 upheaved.
Absolutely love the color!! By far the prettiest boat out of all that have been shown by all the UA-camrs that are splashing lately. Can’t wait to see the sails!!
Happy for both of you for the DW and more for the progress of the built. Hope you'll be able to share a bottle of champagne on the boat at midnight the 1st of January.
Wonderful video, the boat looks fantastic inside and out (in between the work projects, lol). That blue-green color (I don't remember the official name) is just gorgeous. So happy you found a dishwasher that worked for your space. My immediate thought was that its name should be one appropriate for a very proper British maid, but I don't have a specific name. On the other hand, "Ida" is short, sweet, and means "industrious" or "hardworking". "Ok, let me load up Ida, and I'll be ready to go." "Where's the knife? Did you check Ida?"
Well earned boat in the making, rather wait for perfection then push for crap! fantastic partners in life, inspirational. Your dreams r coming to life, so what else could u posdibly want 🎉
Yay - I love the graphic on the boat. Awesome. Hoping for an early handover. Then you can just...sail away :) Jason is absolutely giddy about the dw. Name it "Sudsy" 😻
Wow. I LOVE seeing Curiosity's name in big bright letters! PLEASE have a WONDERFUL Christmas!!!! Can't wait to see you getting on the water for big-time sailing in 2024!
I’m almost as eager as you to see this boat with its sails full and the sun rising out of the sea. The adventures yet to come will be a pleasure to share with you.
Dishwasher should be named JD (Jasons dishwasher) Thanks for all the great videos this year and good luck on your travels. Looking forward to see you both back sailing next year🥰
Since the dishwasher was Jason’s wish, you should name it Wishy Washy!
I was thinking of a male name so as not to offend Nikki, like Henry. But this non gender name is perfect.
Dishwasher name suggestion: dreamcatcher, dream answer, Mrs. Wishy Washy.
OMG I was a teacher and there was a book called Mrs. Wishy Washy. I had this one little boy who would read it to me and the way he said Mrs. Wishy washy was so freaking adorable and brought joy to me while I was struggling as a first year teacher!
PERFECT!!! ❤😂
That's a good one. I don't have anything original to add. I was going to say something like: Washy McDish Face.
Hahaha you too funny
Good decision on having a dishwasher. My name suggestion is The Big Le Washski.
You Matter!
Out of all the UA-camrs that are getting new boats.

Curiosity "Bikini"?? What did I miss? So happy for you both, and your dishes, lobsters, and veggies...cool dishwasher!
I am also curious. Perhaps the boat will be registered in the Marshall Islands for tax purposes?

Yay!!!
Second that, too often the talented engineers and designers are forgotten in modern marketing. The Josie gets my vote!

It's name is Jason!
You stole my comment!!...

Jason, it is for steamed lobster. you put the lobster in and put the dishwasher on dish dry/sterilize mode. then, when done, steamed lobster.
That is a perfect use of a corner space for the Jason Machine! The boat is looking great! Love you guys.

So GLAD that Jason got his dishwasher LOL Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and Happy New Year; See you next year.
I think you should name the new dishwasher “Stewart” - because it’s a steward of your kitchen. Happy Holidays and cant wait to see the Splash day video.
I hope both of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please be safe and thanks.
Nikki, I would wash your dishes till the mini keel falls off! 😂
Gotta admit, the dishwasher's pretty cool though
Can't wait to see you out on open seas! As for dishwashing, I find wearing gloves a huge boon whether it's washing dishes or just rinsing them for the dishwasher. Mr Clean makes a sturdy set that's lightweight not too heavy. 😂❤🎉 edit: a high mounted night vision camera is absolutely brilliant!
Of all the new boats the big channels are getting/have got, I think yours is the best of the bunch!
❤ it’s all coming together. Next year she should really be an exciting year.❤
I think it's awesome that you're going electric for the dingy!
Merry Christmas you guys! Can’t wait for the new year and so happy for you!
Happy for you guys, seeing the vessel come to its final shape is a big event.
Who else was impressed with Erin knowing the Dukes of Hazzard car model?
She's an engineer.
As soon as I read the title, I KNEW it had to be about the dishwasher!! Jason, name it "Jason's Revenge"! 🤣🤣
Name your dishwasher - "Hazel" after the TV show maid. Or maybe "Rosey" after the Jetson family maid.
Happy Holidays Nikki and Jason. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Longtime watcher, First time commenter here:
Dish Washer Name Suggestion: Washy McWashface... Or Dishy McDishface... you get the idea. ;-D
I suggest you name the DW "Baleena', or Leena for short-because she opens wide and filters bits of food. Happy Holidays!
That DW is pretty cool. Like how the lid lifts up. That would be amazing in an RV.
BTW: The original DW in the 60s were all top loading. When you lifted the lid the top rack came up.
CONGRATULATIONS JASON!!!!
Your should name the dishwasher “Rosey” after the maid on the Jetsons
THANK YOU. Have a Merry Christmas and fantastic, adventurous, enlightening 2024 with lots of joy and smiles. 🥳🤸♀🤸🙏
Curi-wash-ity = dishwasher
Go team Jason. My pitch is call it Bob! Dingy is supper cool. Boat is looking awesome 😎
As much hell as we gave Nikki on the dishwasher, Jason, you really needed a woman to tell you the Dukes owned a Dodge Charger? Sad man, sad. lol
or that he guessed Camaro or Mustang !!!
when we moved into the house we have now it had an inground pool. It came with an automatic pool cleaner that you just put on and forget. The kids were naturally all about the pool so I'd say something like go put the ..... automatic pool cleaner on, please but quickly realized, it needed a name.
It became "Alice" after the maid from the Brady Bunch :) You should name your dishwasher "Alice" :)
BTW, while we're miles behind you getting ready for full time RV'ing, love all your videos and wish you all the best as you navigate this current adventure, waiting for your boat and looking forward to your year as you explore new places with new equipment.
I say Alice or Haze or Mr. French!!! Yay to you both on the dishwasher✌️💜
Cal the dishwasher “Mila”. Milagro is spanish for “miracle”.
🍃🌹🍃🌹🍃
Hugs from South Africa.
We were amazed using electric outboard, how easy it was to catch fish , so quiet going to different fishing locations
Goshko is a crazy good name for a dishwasher. It's a name with St. George origin, quite positive and brave one.
Can't wait to see her out on the first test drive. If my business dreams are realized in 2024, I will do the same... Including the dishwasher.
Can’t wait to see the sails!!
love the music during the mast raising - what is it! I love love tablas - can't get enough of them !!!
You gotta call it "Jason".
Anyway have a great Christmas and New Year. Love your work guys. Stay safe out there.
Merry Christmas! Happy New Sailing Year!
I would name the dishwasher Mo! Love that tender!
A very Merry Christmas,and a Healthy,and happy New Year.
Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
I have the Fotile dishwasher that is combined with the sink. I LOVE IT. It's the best appliance in my kitchen. You will love it.
Name the dishwasher - Hazel
“Hazel” was a sixties funny sitcom about a live in maid. Seems appropriate. Jason has help in the kitchen. 😊
Dishwasher should be named JD (Jasons dishwasher) Thanks for all the great videos this year and good luck on your travels. Looking forward to see you both back sailing next year🥰
