Wow that sounds great!! Lots of high end! I have a gold tone ob3 and another good gold tone too but this certainly at least sounds here like it would rival those or the average Gibson!
@@megablazeikenTCG122 sweet, thank you! I’ve been contemplating pulling the trigger on it, I’ve been needing an upgrade and I feel like this one is just unique for the price!
Thank you for making and posting this video. Much appreciated!
Figured someone would need to, I was curious myself lol

Hard to tell on phone recordings bit it does sound a bit brighter then your goldstar, im tempted to sell my rk36 and buy one
The Goldstar is mahogany as well so it’s a bit more mellow
How’s the overall sound and build quality? Curious if it’s similar to the older epiphone banjos or better.
It’s a whole lot better, it pairs and holds itself against my older Goldstar!

hmm sounds decent but I think Gold Tone blows this away at the price point to be honest.
Doesn't have the "depth" I think
I don’t have a microphone setup, so unfortunately I can’t get it to sound great but it sounds beater in the room
This tone ring mystery is weird. Is it even brass? It's like trying to sell a car and not mentioning what the engine is.
Ugh, the Epi sounds too tin-y and not full. Hard pass.
It’s the phones mic. It’s a lot better in person. I still have some tweaking to do to it, but this is close to factory setup
