I've been using the 16s for a year now, and I absolutely love it. It got me excited for the hobby all over again. There are so many things this radio can do, and you can customize the look. I also had the Dx9 spekjunk

I keep hearing how the learning curve is so steep on these things. I'm new to the hobby and I just want to fly and not have to learn the complicated ins and outs of a radio. Is it really that hard to learn how to use this compared to a Spektrum radio?
Thanks for watching! The menu system isn't the best but there are plenty of great how to videos on what to do with edge tx. Rcvideoreviews is my go to guy on youtube for TX16S settings. Hope this helps, happy flying!

I see a lot of switches n things. I'm wondering how it compares to (my favorite) Futaba and Spektrum? How is mixing, setting rates etc.?

Im running an NX8 and lost communication with my receiver for maybe 5 seconds resulting in total loss of my OMP Bighorn. And that's not the first time I've had controls freeze up using spectrum so Im over it. Im looking for another transmitter now. Has anyone heard of that sort of thing happening with a Radiomaster TX16?
No the Radiomaster doesn't suffer from brown outs like spectrum does
could you let me know the thread of the end sticks? I'm assuming its M3 like jumper/

Sorry I should have said Frsky radios with Hall Sensor gimbals are M4. My QX7 has the hall sensor upgrade.

Buddy RC awesome. Grabbing this radio to use for my M2, M2 explore, blade helis, and my oxy/goblin helis as well. They all have spektrum receivers
You'll enjoy it. Learning is quite a bit different than spektrum but once you learn it it is easy
whats a good receiver for this controller?
It really depends on what you're trying to do. I have been using a bunch of different ones and protocols thanks to the multiprotocol radio.
