Oh my God, this family is crazy. Imagine letting your family member die because you don't want to hurt one doctor's little feelings. LOL, it's fiction and they're getting me all upset.
When the song HARPER VALLEY PTA Came out, if was the last year 1969 🎼"well this is just a little peyton place and you're all harper valley hippocrites"
Why do they always say this is a small town as an excuse for various things? This woman's life is at stake! So what if it's a small town. Her life shouldn't be put on the line because of the size of the town.
By small town they mean they usually don’t have the best of the best so the doctors aren’t specialists and they don’t see a lot of situation because there’s very few people
How strange that Rodney and Betty are having dinner with her parents in a fancy restaurant where there are waitresses that are dressed like they are working in a diner.
YYEESSSSS! It was wonderful. There wasn’t the constant annoyance of the things going off like IED’s, people screaming into them with such self importance and waaayyyyy public TMI inflicted on innocent bystanders etc. People actually *spoke* to one another when they had something to say and didn’t grow callus’s on their thumbs.
No cell Phones❓ He didn't get a text ❣️🤣😅😂🌹Ok let me stop Fronting. I was a little girl growing up watching this with my mom. I didn't understand all of this Drama then, but I knew it was some JUICY grown folks mess ❣️😅🤣😂🌹
Well, it wouldn’t have helped: At that time you had to wait at least a month for a pregnancy test and normally women waited two months. People could still count to 9. And there was no viagara for Rodney even if he wanted to have sex with Betty-and apparently as a PP observed, the thrill is gone.
That's what they often tried in soap operas back then, but the timing still gave them away. Either that or they'd try to pretend a miscarriage after the wedding. I can't wait to see what Betty does.
@@tundrawomansays5067 Unfortunately this was often a tendency of older doctors then I think. Younger and more savvy doctors like Rossi were generally given less credence. This is nothing new.
The gallbladder n appendix is on the right side..Dr. Rossi sez it a duodenal ulcer. That's near the gallbladder in the duodenal organ..very painful..needs surgery
The characters except for George seem to speak in audible whispers. Their words are long & pronounced & almost like a clicking noise. Betty is a good example. They were very articulate back then.
People need to understand even though its drama..a baby died n we have grieving n not knowing people ..then it will happen probably again..look at the the old fashioned nurse uniform s. Lol
Been on a PP bender binge now about 18hrs. Love it.
Love The Dr. Rossi character
I LOVE this soap opera!!! I LOVEED the movie!!
Yes. Yes
I wonder if Mia farrow, started the straight haired look which lasted for 10 years
gray
long straight hair, came out, around the same time, as huge afros for blacks
Lana Turner was a superb Constance MacKenzie in the 1954 Peyton Place picture.
I wish I was a patient of Dr. Morton’s. I could get some good naps in.
It's getting soooooo good!!!
It is better than when i was a kid.
Mary Graham we didn’t appreciate the good acting . My first exposure seeing Dorothy Malone. I was 13

@@dre52370 Lol!! I know the feeling; I have to watch at least a handful of episodes at a time!
The actress playing Catherine Harrington was the movie To Each His Own with Olivia dehavilland back in the 40’s
Jedna od najboljih serija svih vremena je GRADIĆ PEJTON...Zaista je uživanje ponovo je gledati...

🎼"well this is just a little peyton place and you're all harper valley hippocrites"
text Dr Morton and let him know about this
LOL!
Allison is looking right at Norman in both scenes with him!
They got rid of Catherine way too soon considering two major plot stories revolved around her after her death
Soulguy..Agreed. I wonder if Mary Anderson wanted out of the show.
I’m new to this great series. I can’t wait to find out what scandals relate to Catherine!
Gallbladder and surrounding organs
If I had a nickel for every time someone said "doctor" in the hospital scene,......
Lol

Allison doesn’t look at people she is talking to. Drives me crazy.👀

Style s back then
Seems no money then...
George parts his hair down the middle!

They had phone booths though
Phone calls, even at home on wires were EXPENSIVE
Damn, these women are always tired.
Terry It’s the drugs-they doled out prescription drugs like candy in those days.

cathrine whay is wrong witrh her
Slayer_85 Sounds like gall bladder attack or a ruptured appendix. Welp, I’m wrong-apparently the MD thinks she has a perforated ulcer.
@@tundrawomansays5067 sounds like Dr. Morton was just a gossipy ass-kissing pill pushing quack, doesn't it?

I 5hink this show drags on compared to today's shows
This show has better story lines and acting than anything around these days.
Mia was me .High school all of those books he carries for me
