- on some models like the one on this video there are 4 tension springs that need replaced i ordered mine through amazon for $ 30 other models may have just one spring on the back bottom section.
you will need a helper as these springs have to get inserted through the bottom of machine however if you got the will and the helper it can be done and mucho 🤑💸💰💰💱 will be saved - Навчання та стиль
I have this exact same washing machine, I did this job by myself by simply removing one Spring at a time, I did not lay it on the ground but instead just leaned it back until I had easy access to simply replace each spring assembly.
I finally had to do something to fix my poor washing machine, it acted like it was possessed and violently beating itself to death during the spin cycle, absolutely crazy, anyway no big deal and now it works like a brand-new unit.
But just do one at a time, and lean the machine Back against the wall until you can remove and replace the spring unit, this job is amazingly simple.
Also, wear a long sleeve shirt and use gloves to protect yourself from getting cut & scraped.
i need mine done asap same Model as both u guys! Would u happen to have a link to where u purchased yours. I see sum on Amazon but they have different model numbers! Thanks!
Excellent video! I have the exact model. I changed my springs, and it was like a new machine for about 4 weeks. Now it's worse than it was. I guess it's cheap Chinese replacement crap parts. I'm not going to fix it again. I'm going to buy a new machine. Thank you for the video!
Just did this and so far so good. Still a good shaking going on but not like how it was trying to escape my house lol. We will see how long it last. Thanks for the video helped big time!
This one in the video is still going good. Have you checked the leveling pegs under the 4 stands? Maybe is not adjusted evenly?
Thank you for great info. Blessings
Very helpful. Is it necessary to stand the unit up before connecting the springs? Seems like it might be a little bit easier when it's lying on its side.
Thanks for the video. Just finished mine I hope it helps !
How is it working?
On a repair video for a whirlpool that looks exactly like this kenmore, there are 4 springs that are attached at the top of the drum, and they attach to the 4 suspension rods. I wonder if that is why everyone is having trouble with banging after a few weeks of replacing the suspension rods. My own washer is missing them as well. I didn't see yours have them either. You can see at the top for corners of the tub there is even a place to hook a spring onto. Quite peculiar. 🤔
Very good info! Thanks!
Do not pull all springs out at the same time !
Hi I’ve been having same problème with mine it’s the same model by the way
It spins at rencing but now even at spining as if it’s gonna come out so i had to stop it
I got it from someone it was good at first but not anymore
The water still in the machine is a counter balance
If your machine still vibrates shakes, then it is the drive hub bearing. And will need to get the metal hub not plastic, kit cost $20 and the tool another $20. When the washer shakes the plastic hub gets too worn out and only a metal kit will be tight enough to stop the shaking.
$30? It’s $140 for the 4 spring parts online. And this isn’t easy ok but you can get a handy person to do it but it will cost about $300 with the parts and labor. Still cheaper than buying a new machine.
What if new springs doesnt fix it?
