If you buy the LEO model M&P 2.0 it comes with metal mounting plates. Also, the RMR’s now come with 2 sets of screws, the longer set are the same length as the type C screws from S&W.
Consider getting a Calculated Kinetic DogTag optic plate. Picked one up and the thing held zero! And pleasantly surprised the Dogtag leading ledge help deflects carbon buildup on the lens; ran 250rds and the window looks spotless. And the machining on the plate is excellent and comes with its own screw heads and screws with a quality lock tight. Calculated Kinetics also has a deal where you buy an optic from them, they will send you a plate of your choice for free! Also, customer service is top notch! The owner, Tyler Fricke, will contact you directly if you have any questions to ensure you get the right plate for your optic and platform.
Thanks for the video. My Holosun 507C X2 came with 2 sets of screws , the longer ones being 0.38 " in length. My M&P came with the metal plates . I live in Canada and am not able to purchase C&H Precision products directly from C&H and Canadian stock is left with Glock plates only. Would I be safe to use the Holosun screws, or should I use the Doctor screws regardless. Thank you!
I would put the optic on the plate and put the screws through both to see how far the screws stick out through the bottom of the plate and how many threads of engagement there would be. If it doesn't look like much then maybe use the doctor screws. Regardless make sure you put a medium strength thread locker on and let it cure for 24 hours if possible.
I'm going to make one, just might have to put it on a different platform so I don't get in anymore trouble. Making a rumble for videos like that. I'll be sure to update when I do.
The stock sights barely give me a lower 1/3 cowitness on the rmr since they don't peak over the glass that much. When I center the dot in the glass the front sight is below it and not in the way. It's not that bad and doesn't bother me at all. I'm not sure what it would look like on the acro P2, but I'm sure it'll be fine.
When you put the screws in turn counter clockwise at first before you tighten them. That will help. If not, check to make sure your threads aren't damaged at all.
@@glockknuckle69 The C&H screws were the wrong thread pitch. Screws that came with the M&P threaded in just fine. Thank goodness the C&H screws didn't mess my threads up too badly, and thank goodness I knew to stop tightening when it became apparent.
@blackout_ghost FYI none of the plastic plates had the correct pattern, so I had to buy a different plate. Maybe next try not assuming you know everything internet smart guy.

Thank you. This just saved me a lot of repair money
No problem, I hope everything worked out for you!
Thanks for clearing that up. I know what to get to get everything tight!!👌
How is the fouling from the loaded chamber indicator? Not sure if I should go with one of the calculated kinetics plates that helps prevent fouling

The only plate I saw on C&H website for the 2.0 optics ready was for the C.O.R.E edition, is that the plate you got?
Didn't see you comment until now, sorry. That's the same plate, as long as it's the 2.0

@@glockknuckle69 Thank you. I will try that.
Nice video bro. Thanks!
Which screws did you use from c&h shot or long?
Is this adapter plate closer to “absolute co witness” or “1/3 co witness”?
I’m liking your content and presentation style. Sub.
Thanks man, I appreciate it!
Good job on the video 👍🏾👍🏾
does the plate from C&H come with the proper screws?
Have you made the video on how to smooth the trigger out yet?

hows your C&H plate holding up?
Do you know if the stock suppressor height sights interfere with your RMR or maybe an Acro p2?

My C&H screws just weren't working with the M&P. I believe they may have been cross-threading.

What mag are you running? It looks extended, can you leave a link for it thank you
It looks like the full size 17rd magazine with one of the two spacers that come with the compact. hth
Your plate fit snug? Just got mine and theres a bit of movement till i screwed it down.
How did it end up working out for you? I just got my plate in as well and it has play as well
@hdavis2113 it hasn't moved. I'd have thought the tolerance would have been tighter though.

Is this the compact 2.0 or full size?
This is the compact model
"Plastic plate" on a "plastic" gun and theres "concern".
