This is my absolute favorite Nintendo song (let alone Zelda song) because it perfectly encapsulates the wonder, humor, and anticipation of childhood. Thank you for bringing it to to life! My niece is learning the cello and I'm sending this to her ASAP
I just love how every instrument in this arrangement has its own litte "coming out", you know. Everyone gets to play a melody part in some way, exceeding it with such a passion. Brillant.
Ok so this version of the song actually made me tear up. I feel an incredible nostalgia towards wind waker and this song in particular, and you all have managed to encapsulate the feeling this song provides. Thank you.
Well, it's such a happy song hah, even If I didn't know where it's from or it not having any nostalgic value I would smile so wildly if I could play with these guys this master piece.
everyone's saying the guy in that far back near the lamp looks like Malon but I instantly thought he looks like the figurine shop guy! beautiful cover of this song here by the way! fantastic
I keep finding myself listening to this version of Outset Island because of how joyful and majestic it is. I love it to death and I'd buy in a heartbeat if it was on Itunes/Google Play Store!
Just a shot in the dark if anyone knows the name of the guy violinist 2nd from left. I believe he may have also played in the front of the orchestra for Kylie’s Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall. Just like what I see and hear, so therefore just wondering🤔
it's such a shame you can't see the flutist onscreen because their playing is PHENOMENAL!! 🥺❤ (edit: nevermind i found him 😅 i just had to look a little harder)
A great version of this song for sure. My only issue is that the audio quality is total crap. That's what you get when you use 1 microphone to record 7 instruments (or are there more?) 😅 I expect better audio quality from these guys.
I think that's literally the first male harpist I've ever seen. And he rocks that moustache.
Me too!!
Legendary moustache
"Oh you're a musician? Judging from that mustache, you're probably a trumpet pla-"
"Harp."
@@TheKirbstomper 😂😂😂
Plenty of Irish harpists. It's on the Guinness can and everything :)
Mario quit plumbing to become a harpist, how awesome is that!?
Or the referee in Punch Out! Who knows ;p
Miguel Rodriguez Tu foto de perfil... es perfecta.
Hella126 Who is modelled after Mario, Ingo is a reference to Luigi?
kdskflgkdsk jaja :)
+Miguel Rodriguez ja ja ja ja
That transition into The Great Sea and back again to Outset was something special.
Indeed!
Chills everytime I listen to this at that part.
It's the same transition that exists on the orchestra CD that came with Skyward Sword.
The violinist on the left is absolutely digging it. Really awesome
He looks so happy!
He's really enjoying it

This makes me uncontrollably happy. Almost as happy as I'd be if I woke up with the Harpists mustache
Ok so this version of the song actually made me tear up. I feel an incredible nostalgia towards wind waker and this song in particular, and you all have managed to encapsulate the feeling this song provides. Thank you.

Koji Kondo is one of the best composers of the last 50 years.
Instantly recognizable, dragging me right back to where i was for these Zelda classics.
Makes me feel at home
It’s beautiful
