Oh, Moses is so sympathetic and his dogs are so sweet! It's lovely how he has two dogs so they can feel good together being siblings. They seem very happy with him. And what a peaceful sanctuary he has created as his home! I would happily chat there with him over a cup of coffee! How beautiful! I love how the sun streams into his flat onto his plants. And I love his philosophy towards his plants - they are family ^^
I love Mose’s philosophy regarding growing plants and life in general. It is so wonderful to get a peak into people’s lives in different parts of the world.
I love your videos Sean. This one was very special to have a peek inside of the life of someone who lives in China. In the states we are fed so much propaganda. I enjoyed Moses so very much and I cannot wait for similar content. People like you are the real lifestyle reporters of the world now. Thank you. ❤️
Thank you. Check out my Shanghai episode on my personal channel (link is in the video description) it paints a picture of life in Shanghai. There are a lot of good people and innovative minds in China amidst geopolitical differences.
Love these videos where you visit a local person's place, explore their plant collection, and allow them to share their passion and enthusiasm for plants with us!
As a first generation daughter of Chinese immigrants in Brazil and as a beginner plant mom, I loved this video so much, it was way more than a plant tour, I learned a lot with you guys, loved Moses’ house and kindness, thank you for making such amazing contents
As a chinese descendant living in Brazil, I would dare to say He is just like my clone living there. lol Same interests, lifestyle and just like plants we thrive and adapt gradually to the enviroment around us. Hope we can meet someday somewhere in a bike trip around the world.
I loved this ! Moses looks so sweet and his house so peaceful. I love the way he talks about his plants and cares for them. And what a gorgeous collection of anthuriums he has.
Thank you for this new episode. Each time, you still find someone or something very inspiring to show us. Thank you also to your friend to share his passion with so much... passion. Can't wait to see your next episode 🙂
I wish China and US would allow for easier connections between its citizens. So many missed friendships. I love his collection, his apartment and his dogs. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for the great video Sean, and thank you Moses for sharing your beautiful collection with us! We love learning about the plant community in other areas!
Another great video about Shanghai allowing us to discover a beautiful person loving plants, dogs and persons encontered during his travels ! Our heart belongs to all the places where we are living or lived ! Thank you so much for opening hearts of lots of people in this world, Sean! 💖
I hope you can continue to do what you are doing. I enjoy your videos and seeing plants from other parts of the world. I follow many people on you tube and can only support by watching. I am retired with limited fixed income.
Moses is such a special person. He truly has a well-balanced life. The thing about plants is they rarely disappoint people. If you are good to them, they will thrive for you.
Hi Sean! I started my plant parenting /obsession/ journey recently and have been enjoying your all your contents. I learned so much from your propagation and care videos. But this house & plant tour content is my favorite - it' so nice to see other people's collection and hear how their passion started and going.. dare I say this episode is my favorite one so far! So beautifully made, great collection of plants, Moses is such an amazing person too! Thank you so much for providing us all with this hardwork and great content. Signed up for youtube membership for sure to support you and your hardwork! ❤
Such a beautiful soul!!! I enjoyed the episode very much!!! and practiced my Chinese as I lived in Beijing for 8 years and I love China and miss it a lot!
Случайно увидел ваше видео, и так понравилось, что, сразу подписался. Интересные люди, правильные вопросы, красивые растения. Респект вам. Удачи в вашем творчестве.
Great plant tour! I identify with that “inner peace”. It’s amazing how calming it is just to get home and interact with/see my plants after a difficult day.
10:38 The mint anthurium seedling is stunning! Even though it's still young the variegation is bold and breathtaking. What an extraordinary collection ✨🙌
You're my favorite PlantTuber Shaun! Great video! I really loved Moses' outlook on life; especially how he goes on vacations and cuts people's hair for free. He makes friends with people wherever he goes. That's the best kind of person, in my opinion. "In a world where you can be anything, be kind." Both you and Moses embody that sentiment, and I appreciate that more than anything. We are all humane by nature. Thank you for this and every video you've made in the past few years; I have learned a great deal from you! Fair winds and following seas! 🖖🌱
Thank you Sean for bringing us into the wonderful home of Moses. I can really appreciate his perspective on plant care as well as sharing his passion giving more than free haircuts, but a lovely experience for all!😻
Your channel is only one piece of puzzle for getting more people into plants! Opening up the world to people who love plants..especially here in the western world. Happiness begins with one plant at a time.. His beliefs are same as yours nit giving plants away to people who cant take care of..lol Thanks for inviting us along
this video is especially exciting for me!!! I lived in Shanghai for a few months, I love plants and I learn Chinese for a half of year, and it's crazy that i can understand some phrases without subtitles!!! now I wish I could go back to Shanghai and visit that plant market.
Thank you for sharing your home and your plants. Shawn you are so awesome… how many languages you can speak..? Thank you for taking your time and showing us your videos.. as always.. great content.!❤
Hello Sean, I recently found your UA-cam and have been binge watching your videos. Something about this video I found so interesting. Mostly I was reading the exchange between you and Moses, instead of looking at the plants. Anyway, I found it enjoyable and informative at the same time. Thanks for making this video.
Me encanta los videos que haces💚, yo estoy en el camino para tener más plantas en mi colección, estoy aprendiendo mucho de ti. Sigue adelante y gracias 🌺🌿🍀🌴
Thanks for this wonderful video Sean. I have been following your channel not long but has find so much informative materials that help me to grow my collections. It is very interesting to see how other growers looking after their plants despite vastly different environments they are in. It is the love for plant in hearts 😊
Really enjoyed this tour Sean thank you! I would love to be able to travel to China again, this time as a plant enthusiast and explore as many plant people there as I can. THanks for the info 😁
Great interview with Moses! His creativity comes through so vibrantly! You just want to hang out with the guy. There is a different energy when the interviews are done in a native language. Sean... how many languages do you speak???
I love the interview. It's very intimate. I also admire how conservative the Mandarin language is because it has words for terms like humidity and humidifier which isn't the case in my language.
IMPORTANT QUESTION: I download videos usually to watch when I’m on the train; does this still figure into the algorithm? Or is it ignored? Does it count as a fully watched video? This has to be one of my favorite plant home tours yet. Moses seems like such a cool guy. I was tearing up at the montage towards the end. I’m going to become a supporter as soon as I finish my masters this semester 🙌🏽 it’s going to be my reward for my studies lol
I have a feeling the watch count is updated when you are online again. But it really really really helps when you comment on the channel like this ❤️ youtube heavily rewards good engagement.
@@onlyplants Yeah but the amount of space it can take up is what kept me from trying. His leaves where of a very manageable size while the plant shows some age. That would work for me as well

Because of your UA-cam channel, I have now made a goal of visiting Indonesia. Thank you so much for sharing your world.
