- "The Wax Figures Also Looked Like Other People - People Who Had Disappeared...........”
Originally released in 3D, HOUSE OF WAX was one of the first major pictures to be shot in this format. The video you are watching however, is not in 3D. Even without the three dimensional experience, HOUSE OF WAX is a fun film to watch. It’s easily one of the best remakes ever made.
Based on the 1933 film, MYSTERY OF THE WAX MUSEUM, André De Toth’s HOUSE OF WAX tells the story of a vengeful wax museum owner (Vincent Price) who starts to rebuild 18 months after his original museum was burned to the ground.

When that woman was clubbing Vincent in the face and having the wax fall off was brilliant. So good
Indeed. It’s a classic.
Jeez! The action scene looks better and more realistic than many netflix films theses days.
its all mostly computer stuff.
Hahaha 😆 Yes!
Love this flick! Saw it with my grandparents as a little kid, and it messed me up! After watching it with them at their house that night, I went crazy for classic horror and immediately began renting dvds of all of the great classics from my local library. Roger Corman’s Tales of Terror, The Time Machine (1960), and Invaders From Mars (1953) were the ones that made the biggest impressions on me as a 7/8 year old kid. R.I.P. Granddad.
🙏🏿😔
as an artist myself, i fully understand him. if someone burned down my paintings he wouldn't have long to live.
Me too. If someone burn my sculptures, paintings and work i will lock that asshole in an oven
@@princesaruu6150 Yeah, so I don't blame him for hanging the bastard lol..
@@Roc-Righteous yeah the real monster was that old fart who burned the sculptures. He deserved even worse
This definitely Vincent prices best movie, such a classic
I never want to go into a wax museum after seeing this
I didn't want to go before 😂
@@HerMakeupIsRad Hahaha!
My father saw this when it premiered in the theatres. Great movie
Absolutely awesome!!!!!
It would be great if they put it back in the movies as an occasional one day or few days showing!
Bronson had such range in his acting ability!
The third act is really disturbing the more you analyze it. Imagine being tied to a table completely naked and the first thing your eyes see is a horribly disfigured psychopath (who had already tried to kill you twice) standing right next to you and trying to sound poetic about how he's pretty much going to murder you and turn your corpse into a wax statue.
This is still to this day the only movie that has managed to give me nightmares as a kid.
This is one of my favorite Vincent Price movies
ONE OF THE BEST VINCENT PRICE MOVIES..I HAVE WATCHED THIS MOVIE MANY TIMES GROWING UP ...LOVE THE ACTING AND THE STORY..I LOVE THE MUSIC...WHAT A GRAND FILM..
Agreed. It’s a classic!
@@GoreyBits His voice so creepy, even when he talks normally.
Mr Wallace was one of my favorite in this movie, he's class, style and polite.
One of my favorite movies of all time. Watched it sooo many times
The movie was released in 3D and made it even more scary on the big screen. It left quite an impression on a kid. Vincent Price and young Charles Bronson. Carolyn Jones becoming the wax figure was exceptionally creepy.
As a kid? How old are you like a 100 lol
The acting 🎭
Is incredible
Agreed
Vincent price his best film. Color and
Three d is great even today.
One of the greatest horror movies of all time 😎

I love this movie honestly it’s Vincent prices best
Boiling Pepto Bismol! Stuff of nightmares!
And good for your stomach
Perhaps this is where DC got their inspiration for the joker falling into chemicals. Or vice versa.
Joker debuted about 15 years before this film came out.
Great movie Vincent price. Was a great horror movie actor
In the 2005 remake the wax figures cried to show how alive they were under the wax.
I may or may not be covering that one soon 🤞🏼
@@GoreyBits That would be great!
I love this movie. I just love old horror movies.
I jus love his movies..talented
@5:05 what we all came here for i guess? Dude like! "Wax on, Wax off!"
By today's standards, 12K would be 140K.
I appreciate you!
This movie story line looks amazing, Better than the house of wax 2005 movie. 😧
Yeah it was a stubid remake
It is, I watched this one as a kid and it had intrigue, horror, didn't have all the special effects and the 2005 remake, was an embarrassment to this masterpiece.
That 2005 version was just a Remake of a Remake. Their was an Original. the 1933 one
@@XtremeKaiba I liked the 2005 film despite it's flaws.
@@theghostwiththemost287 it's a reboot
What as great concept to get scared to!
I didn’t know that Dan Aykroyd was in this movie to 5:03
Hahahaha
Best 3 d film and story.. Great cast. In color. An.
Vincent price and Charles Bronson togheter in one movie!!
Death wish was good
I love old school horror movies because it felt real and it made us watch. Today's horror is Hollywood.
Sam Raimi definitely looked to this classic for his 'Darkman' film!
;-)
Director Andre De Toth only had one eye - so was unable to see the 3D effect.
Why can't we have the full movie please. Would love to see the whole movie . God Bless 💖🙏
You should get on Amazon and buy a copy. It's easily accessible on both DVD and Blu-ray.
You need to buy it
It's on Bilibili for free now.
5:34 i love that scream
Ahh.. Vincent Price voice, there are books read by him on spotify.
remaster version, with color.... Cool
You really have to suspend disbelief to accept that Vincent prices face is all burnt under the wax facade which when it breaks sounds like she’s breaking up concrete
With Vincent Price, anything is possible.
You should also watch the 1933 original with Lionel Atwill and Faye Wray for comparison.
I'd like to see this film it's a classic.
You have to really suspend disbelief to belwove Vincent prices face really was wax
I have got this movie DVD of
Vincent Price in
The House Of Wax
I am dedicating this movie DVD to my old school friends who are both sisters and I hope to see them both again very soon to Chris and Hester from Billyxxx
It’s a classic
This Shits all over the 2005 Remake
Vincent price is amazing actress.(Rip)

2:12 Broke: Chiseled Bronson.
Woke: Bronson literally Chiseled.

Charles Bronson was billed here as Charles Buchinsky, his earlier name !
He WAS scary here!
I feel like going to a Madame Tussaud's
We really didn't know what a disfiguring burn looked like in 1953, did we?
Of course they did, 8 years after the war!
@@OJ1992 Then why's he PURPLE?
Prof. Henry Jerrod is the inspiration for Dr. Anton Phibes, another Price interpretation. Both are scarred, both were good men before their accident, both are artists and both are macchiavellan in their murders.
I don't find full movie 'house of wax' of 1953 ..(oldest movie of the same name)
that was so unsettling
Doing an interview on this movie tonight, who better to give me a refresher?
Aw shucks 😊
Iconic
💯
Can you do best of House of Wax (2005) version?
I will at some point in the future
This is Charles Bronson as the mute assistant of Vincent Price. Later he became a vigilante in the future.
Serving sweet sweet justice
I'm Like House of wax is epic
Oh ..3D !!!
2:30 Bronson sculpting Bronson bust.
Best of scream
Hancock's Half Hour brought me here !
I came here for House of Wax 2006
I’ll have to cover that one at some point.
please house of wax 1953 fulll movie completi ..thank you
Don't thank someone for something they are not going to do. And also stop asking for the full movie!
Just buy or rent you lazy ass. You can watch it for like 4 bucks
It's easily accessible on both DVD and Blu-ray. Invest in what you claim to love. Otherwise, I highly question your supposed love for this film. Invest in what you love. It's an insult to the piece not to.
Poor Jared turned into a killer by matthew who ruined his works

It was a great movie the original House of Wax. The remake in 2005 was bad!
2020, aqui graças ao Senhor Terror
The guillotine scene near the end is crazy!! Even though it was just for a few seconds, the actor had his head in an actual functioning guillotine!!... If the blade had dropped accidentally he would have been dead meat!!
