I also have brown eyes and I really don't like purple on me. Maybe I am not using the right shades of purple. What shades do you use? I also have warm skin tone maybe that is why I don't t think purples look good on me.

I have been waiting for this review! I have seen so many mixed reviews on this palette that I’ve put off buying it. However, now that I have Zabrena’s stamp of approval, I really want to get it. I've heard mixed reviews on this one (mostly that this palette is not the great Colourpop quality - it's just okay). I have to say the looks you created are gorgeous though. Maybe I'll pick this up the next time I'm in Ulta. Thanks, Zabrena!
I'd have to agree, the quality is not the same from Colourpop 3 years ago but it's still pretty workable!
Kalena I heard the same thing, everything else is top notch but this palette seems lacking, after watching Zabrena using it I can see the struggles but her final look has swayed me, the next 30% off sale I will pick it up 😁
Purple is my absolute favorite color to wear. Another great purple palette to get is the Norvina Volume 5 Palette. It's expensive, but worth the money. I got that one for my birthday and I love the purples in that one. I love all the purple palettes from Colourpop though. Colourpop is my most favorite makeup brand.
I recently received smokin roses and getting fresh by Colourpop and I agree about the powderiness. Both pallets had issues with powderiness. But the colors are beautiful.
Purple is one of my favorite colors and I prefer cool tones! If you haven't yet, you should try the new profusion palette called ethereal. It's stunning and has gorgeous purple shades and a few duochromes. Plus it's only $10 at Walmart! Blessings!

I have that pallette and use it almost every day! I'm in the purle club! In the halo eye that you did, try the Brilliant in the center instead and get the shadow on your finger but spray your finger with setting spray before you apply it and you will he the best of both worlds: less fallout and more color payoff!!!

I have this pallet and I absolutely love it! You are correct, the color story is gorgeous! The cool toned purples are just beautiful. I will probably pick up another one next time I am at Ulta because I am sure I will hit pan on nearly every color in there. It is also a great pallet to use with other shadows. ❤️

Hello Zabrena, I like some of ColourPop’s eyeshadow palettes. But I have noticed that they are more powdery. But they do have nice color pay off. One of my favorite palettes is the You’re Golden palette. It so nice. I don’t have any more recent palettes. I can’t remember the last one I purchased only because a lot of their palettes are all looking the same. Thanks for sharing this nice purple eye looks with us. I dove on this palette when it first came out . I’d seen there were a number of less than stellar reviews which I can’t figure out. I thought it did pretty well, especially for a purple palette.

Zabrena, from what I heard when this launched a bit ago the issues you had were consistent and not at all like the quality of others launched in a very long time. Hi Lisa! Thank you! I've been using the Undone Beauty Flawlush brow pen in 'Warm Brown' most recently and it's a pen that gives you the ability to create brow-like hairs which is what I think makes all the difference!

Colourpop has also made a Palette Vault called State of Play. It contains 6 palettes with 9 eyeshadows per palette and lemme tell you! The one called Lilac you a lot is GORGEOUS! And the quality is insane! No struggles, very pigmented, but does have some fallout. Lasts all day and yeah.. But check it out :D

If you haven't already, you should try this palette's companion palette, Of Quartz. It is a _gorgeous,_ truly cool toned palette of neutrals. It makes That's Taupe look warm toned (and I know there was a lot of buzz about how cool toned That's Taupe is compared to so many neutral palettes found on the market). Also, the quality is amazing. Period.

I haven’t tried this palette but from all the previous colourpop palettes I’ve tried in the past, they’ve always been very powdery. They’re beautiful and pigmented but there’s always a dust storm on my vanity after I use their palettes lol

Revlon has reformulated their quad eyeshadows and they have a purple eyeshadow quad which is cool tone. The only person I see talking about these is Sharlenes box of chocolates. They came out with at least 4 palettes.

I had the intention of buying this talent but now that you've talked about how powdery it is and how you have to use your finger or wet the brush in order to apply some of these shadows. So thanks for your review ☺️😉
If you really like purples, you should give it a chance. I absolutely love this pallette.. but I don't mind using my finger for sparkley shades. I always use my finger to apply super shock shadows by CP.. and tbh I have never wet my brush to use anything. Idk.. maybe it's not the very best but it is a great pallette for cool tone purples imo 😊

Actually this palette is pretty, i also had it as well. But l can fell 'not quite' the best formulation that Colorpop done in previously palette, so it made me use it very few times. Plus i had ' Orchid you not' palette and the purple in there is very more deeper and suitable for my tan skin tone more while in 'All amethyst' i can use it but some cool tone shade can look kinda muddy or dull on my eyes.
I love Colourpop however have a gutted Lime Crime Venus 3 and had my sweetie help me make it into a purple palette with a sheet of magnetic sheets from the Dollorama. I depot all my 9 pan plastic palettes into magnetic palettes and I love it. This one (which I got a new in a Boxycharm). The packaging is beautiful. I did place labels on the name to label CP purples. lol It houses It's My Pleasure and Lilac You a lot in it. LOL. I depot them all into empty magnetic palettes I got.

I am from Australia, where affordable American brands such as Colour pop, La girl, la colours, juvias place, flower beauty etc aren't available. We can, however, get Morphe, which seem to be doing their palettes in a similar look to Colour pop. What do you think of the quality of Morphe, compared to the other affordable brands you often use?

I just got the beauty bay midnight palette amazing must have purple palette.
I didn't get this palette, but I did buy the Just My Luck, Main Squeeze (?), and Darth Vader. So far, those have been pretty impressive, although I think some of the Darth Vader colors are going to do the same as the glitter shades from this purple palette.
I own this and love the shades. The day after wearing, however, I had a minor allergic reaction, bloodshot eyes, watery eyes. Anyone that might have any issue with purples beware.
Ohhh.. I'm so sorry you had a bad reaction. This is one of my favorite pallettes.. I guess I'm not sensitive to shadows luckily bc I've never had any issues. Be safe.

I am part korean and my skin undertone is olive/neutral . Finding the right shades for me has been challenging for me. Foundations can be too yellowish or they can be too pinky. And then they oxidize on me. Zabrena do you have any tips that can solve my promblem ?
