- I tried the new $4 eyeshadow palettes from Essence and … WHOA! Holy crap. Seriously!? That’s all I gotta say! Have you tried these?! Holy crap … I’m still in shock LOL
P.S. Forgot to mention in the video but if you're wondering how these compare to the Bare Minerals palettes I reviewed recently, my response is .... Bare Minerals who?!

I agree!!! But what really makes my soul ache is some of these makeup artists on youtube seem so sweet and of course gorgeous and then all of a sudden they spew out just filthy language. So sad to me.
I’m excited that Essence has stepped up the formula to their eyeshadow formula! I hope they keep it up and don’t go back to the old formula. Have a Blessed weekend
I have 2 of their pallets (nude and pink toned) from years ago, and the quality is decent. Just pulled them out the other day. The packaging is more attractive than some that followed.
Their singles in The Velvets formula are the best drugstore price single pan eyeshadows I've used and they discontinued it. I've avoided their eyeshadow palettes for a long time because the shadows in those barely cling to my eyelids and the fallout is nasty. I'm wondering at that time if the singles and the palettes are made by the same brand at all.😅
Can we just appreciate your commitment to your followers and your professionalism and work ethic that you would spend an entire evening applying, washing off, applying, washing off, etc make up looks in order to create your content. Big thumbs up.

We've been inundated with warm-toned palettes for so incredibly long that I snatch up any cooler ones that come to market! These looks were fabulous and I know I'll be getting at least 3. I liked the Bronzed This Way on you. It gave you a 40s look, especially with the lipstick.

I usually want to shy away from non-neutral palettes but the color stories are all very wearable, approachable, and classy looking! Might have to pick a few of these up!
Ever since Essence started their brand I have been a big fan, and they're only getting better
I hope they come out with more colors to this line. I would love a cool toned pink pallet and a cool toned taupe pallet. Hooray for a good $4 pallet.

I always have to kinda giggle when you say you're into cool tones now because I remember for a long time you were like eww I hate cool tones. Lol 😉 really is crazy how much our makeup tastes can change over the years. These look amazing and I loved every one of them on you! Love how they along with companies like elf and wet n wild are showing that amazing quality can be achieved at a very affordable price and you don't need to spend $50 on eyeshadow!
Let's not forget Aerosmith's "Walk this Way" for "Bronze this Way". 😜
I noticed during application every single shade glided on seamlessly and played nice with different textures..
I know I told myself "no more eyeshadows Kat" but for four bucks a palette, I'm getting at least three of these.

When I use shadows that have fallout, I first wet my brush. This prevents the fallout and also makes the colors pop.
I returned to the eye look you created that you were not that impressed with, but found it to go with your complexion beautifully. And your choice of lip color was perfect. I do know a lot of Influencers wear the pink color a LOT, but I still found this color on you perfect.

Since Zabrena has cool undertones, I can see why she has moved away from peachy pinks.
I have warm undertones tho and grabbed the Coral Me Maybe last week and it is awesome for the price, compactness, and well thought out color story and depth range. This is coming from someone who has Colourpop's Coast to Coral, Sigma's Cor de Rosa, and other coral-peachy singles.

This palette the first one I have to pick up. I want a gray palette but I know it's not an everyday palette for me. Right on budget for something that will not be used often.
All videos from Zabrena always made my day while accompany my husband at the hospital for Haemodialysis every Tuesday and Friday. Keep my strenght up. Love love love.

A few people have been raving about these Essence palettes, so I don't be surprised if they are sold out already! I don't like the taupe (too grey) or blue (not my style), but the others are all appealing to me.

I just picked up 4 of these! I'm having fun playing with them. Surprisingly, I really loved the green! I rarely wear greens and it was the first palette I worked with.

I got 2 palettes (warm velvet $4 and smooth nude $8) they are beautiful I hope you can review them, the blush and bronzer palettes are amazing too

The green and the Taupe so beautiful!! I love how you don’t stick to one typical type of application. I noticed with the green you placed the shimmer first. And it still looked amazing!! Totally agree cool toned purples are superior altho the warmer purple shimmer in norvina 5, I think it’s e3 omg, it’s so gorgeous ! I normally don’t go for warmer purples but it’s divine
