I just bought a 1997 eagle vision tsi with 150k miles. I finally got the car I wanted since I was a kid. And now it's my time to enjoy a fine piece of Mopar history.
This legendary car !!! I use this car for more than 4 years. Repaired his 2.5 years, brought to perfection !!! Now he is like from the manufacturer !!! Proud of him ...
I've had my 1995 NY'er for 14 years, and love the ride, and the compliments for it. It has just over 150K on it. Before this I had a 1983 Cadillac Eldorado, which rode a little better because of the air shocks, but the 95 has a lot more pick-up than my V-8 Eldo.
Two days before I traded my 97' LHS, I was at a stop light, a woman ran up to thinking I was an UBER.. She jumps in, says.. Manhattan please, double the tip.. She says, " wow, what a beautiful car"..." How much for a wedding" ? ...( One of the best Mopar ever made).
@@walmarttoiletpaper7163 i just bought 1997 as well. Im 39yrs old now but owned a 1996 black LHS when i was 20yrs. Great cars. What color and mileage on yours?
I had a 1994 LHS in silver. Same car. I loved that car and often wish I still had it. Except for a transmission rebuild and replacing tie rod ends, it was very reliable. (and the radio display went out, to be replaced with a better aftermarket stereo) Never leaked a drop of anything, never replaced the exhaust or starter. It had over 260K miles on it and was still running great when I got rid of it. Comfortable, handled great, had great HVAC. Only things I would have improved would be to give it about 50 more HP, better headlights, and brakes with better feel. I wish subsequent Chrysler vehicles were as good as this platform was. Even Jeremy Clarkson actually liked it. Thanks for the nostalgia.
nice! great lil tribute to my miraculous find, a year ago this week, burgundy, 96, 130,000 miles, sweet!!! now there's one for sale down the street, forest green, no sunroof, but only 74,000 miles!!!
@Horssi1 Chrysler should revive this body as an electric - and add it to the interesting electrics that they were planning to introduce up until early 2009. It is definitely not a horrible piece of junk. It is an excellent starting point, and it could benefit by some upgrading - but it is a beautiful as it gets among modern cars.
Had a 1994 New Yorker, got 10 years 150,000 miles out of it. Climate control had issues every single year I owned it. Other than that it was a nice car, loved the styling.
Yep, David 1558, my 96 LHS had Clim control problems at 140k, and was lol one night on the way to work..My wife saw thatI had 6 candles on the floor for heat. oh well.. Still the best and I want another one.
IstvanN1961 I quite a few old Intrepid’s,lbs, and concords! My grand father had one for years here in jersey drive it all the way to Florida and had it out there for about 6 more years! Car had close to 200k on it before trading it for a 300m special

Very tastefully done I live in NY and love that song and such a beautiful car as well, great job 👍🏼
Thank you so much
It also has the biggest backseat since the 50's. The backseat is often overlooked.

Where Lincoln got their idea for their town car. I had one of these beauty's back in 02
Best car i ever had👍
Good to add the Pentastar hood ornament.
The New Yorker's rear C-pillar was tweaked and massaged by Ford and became the Lincoln Town Car.
My third LHS,.. Simply the best true road cars!...
I love that car AMAZING!!!!!!

Just bought a 96 NYer with 132k on it, pick it up Monday.

I replaced the climate control module on mine with a salvage unit from ebay. Literally took 5 minutes to swap it out and no more issues.
Excellent.
Very Nice :) Excellent video...

Wie liegt denn der Verbrauch bei normaler, gelassener Fahrweise?
@Horssi1 WoW!
Looks like a Jaguar; look at the C-pillars. Do they remind you of a Jaguar? What country was this filmed?
Do you mean the logo star?
¿Rosita Fresita en ese auto?
Wish I knew where that vid originated from..that lic plate looks like German. on that LHS. I wish Mopar would bring it back for another 5 years..
