Hi Adam, really miss your great entry video for scratch golf academy, that was really well done .
Thanks Doc. Most people like shorter and shorter beginnings, hard to keep people’s attention span
Best, Adam
Great video, as usual. One thing worth noting: hitting driver a little (up to around 2/8" radially) up and toward the toe actually gives faster ball speeds and higher launch angle. So that's the best "miss" available.
Thanks for the comment Ethan
You are awesome!
Thanks David, glad you liked the video
Always superb instruction ...!!
Thanks!
Perfect timing for this mini-school, Adam. I'm hitting all my other clubs very well but that swing seems to get convoluted with the long stick in my hands. This will help tremendously. Thanks!
Thanks Mike, hope you get back on track
I also hate the driver. It's stolen so many strokes from me that I'm just hitting a 3 wood. I only get 225 yards with it, but at least I'm not missing fairways and I can still hit GIR with that distance.
@@davidkramer194 If I got 225 out of my 3-wood, I would worry a lot less about my driver🙂
Answers a lot for me, I was leaning more towards Lee Trevino dragging the handle through impact, but snapping it is more dynamic
Hope you make good progress Bob
One of your best lessons Adam. A correct golf swing is a difficult thing to describe, and you do a great job at it.
Thanks very much John!
I’m really surprised you never mentioned how tension is the #1 killer of a driver swing. If you’re all locked up, you’ll never achieve any sort of distance and accuracy.
You make a good point, and I’ve discussed that in other videos. Attention span is short online, just can’t touch all bases in each video. Dynamic balance, width of stance, tension, club face angle etc etc.
best, Adam
