Thank you for your informative and helpful video! :) I've received alerts indicating that a significant amount of data was downloaded or altered within the past two days. However, I was not involved in any such activity, and there were no changes made by me or any suspicious activity detected on my computer. Could these alerts be false or a result of a hacking attempt? Could these changes have occurred due to some coincidence, which looks improbable, considering that these changes on such a significant volume of files would have taken considerable time to process? Thanks once again.
Might be a workflow running in the background that is triggering updates to the files? Might be worth speaking with your IT department to investigate it further

Hello, I have set up an alert me rule that, whenever someone modifies a specific excel file, it will send me a daily summary. This works pretty well but I have one issue. Because our company uses the auto-save function, it will send me an email if someone just opens the file and moves to a different cell or tab within that file. It sees it as a modification and I receive the mail the day after only to find out, nothing is changed. Is there a way to overcome this? Thanks in advance

Can one also create reminders for a specific date?
Yes, but you would need to use Power Automate for that.

Could you give those people read access instead of edit?
Not realy, they consult the file on a regular basis to gather info but they should be able to change it when needed.
