Great content. Thanks! I do have a question on a particular method for formatting the list form layout. Have you written a json code to display the body of the form based on if the user is creating a New Form or editing an existing record via Edit Form? I can't seem to get it to work and am hoping you have a suggestion. I want to display certain fields when editing vs creating new.
Great info and tutorials Im having an issue with the json formatted columns thats got me stumped. When loading my list. All the fields without any formatting loads and the other fields are blank. Once i refresh the page everything comes up. Have you ever encountered this issue?
Button 'Enhanced formatter is enabled' at the minute 1:52 doesn't appear to me, I don't know why. I tried in Edge, and in Chrome, but the screen appearing to me is always the screen in 1:48, without this toggle button. I installed the extension in both and I already have the VS Code installed
@@stevecorey365 This was a good tip. But I turned to 'Enable' the 'Enable enhanced column formatting for this tab', and clicked to 'refresh' the page to make sure the page is updated, but even this way the button doesn't appear. But I learned a lot about the advanced formatting in this video! Thanks a lot, I let my like and subscribing! Greetings from Brazil!
great tutorial, i am begginer in share point, i want to sort a date column so it always shows the latest date first every time i open the list and always that every with access to this list open the list. Is thisJSON the best way to do it? Thanks

Thank you! Great tutorial since new to me. Are there any equivalent Mac apps that does the same syncing to the browser like SP Formatter VSCode
VS Code works on Mac as well, so give that a shot!

Make sure you click the browser extension at the top of your browser, and enable the extension. It's not automatically enabled when you install it.

You might be missing a step after installing. I recommend reviewing the instructions, since there are steps after installing the extension.

I'm getting the [Object] [Object] on my column
Unfortunately I'm not able to troubleshoot that without seeing it for myself.
