It's not really close. 120 hz, faster storage with 256 gb variant, telephoto lens, 30x zoom and multitasking with split screen apps or pin to windows. I've had my s23 for almost a year. Lag free,no glitches and all day battery with 120hz.
No one gives a fug about useless features, everyone cares about best interaction between devices, safety, longevity and second hand value. In short things that android don't have.

@@akajdjsk766 not really... while iphones may technically have a more powerful chip, its very, VERY slight compared to the comparable samsung phone. and another thing is apple doesnt use that power nearly as well as samsung. samsung takes full advantage of its power, so the S series devices are pretty much always snappier and faster than the iphone. also, the s23 has a 120 hz display while the iphone 15 has 60...not only that, but you can CHANGE the settings on the samsung to make it 60 hz, if you need performance over framerate. didnt mean to make this so long lol sorry

I have a samsung S23 256GB phantom black. This device is a small computer. You can do everything with it. Iphone is more for the content creators and tik tok and snap chat fanboys. Samsung is more for the business people. I connect my samsung S23 with my 65 inch samsung tv and my samsung smartwatch. It's amazing!
I’m using 15 for a month. Previous phone was 11 pro. Very big jump in battery life and cameras, 15 just way ahead of 11. Idk how any of manufactures still selling new phones in such volumes cuz there aren’t anything new (in general, of course). I’ve bought it for 785$ and sold 11 pro with scratched back glass for 265. It’s not worth it.

@@katinasoutherland7693 samsung S20 victim here✋(Europe) The first year was actually great experience…but after that…wow…the level of degredation was atrocious. The battery efficiency was horrible, lasted around 3-4 hours on normal settings and usage. Now proud owner of an Iphone 15 pro.
The colors for the iPhone certainly look better. Somewhere along the line, Samsung decided they hated anything having to do with color. I hate the muted colors companies have been going with. That being said the overall hardware with Samsung base models is great.

@@AlienProducti0ns hmm sketchy because my 13 also completely died on Sunday. I was using it and then suddenly it went black but wasn’t dead (just fully charged it). The apple logo would come up and then go away and come back etc etc. I tried everything and even went to the Apple Store and they had no explanation. We tried to factory reset it but that wouldn’t work either.
although it's upto preference, the photos are better on the s23 imo, the s23 also has a 3x optical and better selfie camera the iphones got better video and longer software support

@Bantler26 s23 has better exposure on selfie cam , shadows on the iphone sometimes look completely black because their proccesing cranks up the contrast too much As for os updates, u aren't gonna use a phone for more than 5 years aren't you?
Samsung has the better primary camera with 3 backside lenses, better zoom and a single press access to the camera settings. Samsung currently has 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security updates which is plenty. Most users upgrade their devices within 4 years. Samsung also offers BOTH a physical SIM card tray as well as the eSIM while US sold iPhones don't have SIM card trays.
I have an iPhone 14 Pro. My first iPhone but it’ll be my last one. I feel my older Samsung Galaxy S20+ was better in many way than my current phone. Just from a user experience I prefer Android. I love how optimized the iPhone is and the cameras are fantastic but I can get the same quality and better OS experience at least for me.
Same for me. Using a 13 Pro since March 2022. I will not buy another iPhone i think. It works well but using an iPhone means giving up basic Android features i have on Android. That's why i bought another Android to help me. iOS only, is too difficult😅.

But u only look the paper , you thought Samsung wouldn't keep the best display for themselves..
Use my 15 and happy with my ecosystem (mac, iPad, watch, HomePod), also the camera is awesome But anyway you will be happy with both cause Samsung also a great device Better buy s23 instead of pixel 8

Yesterday was my 1st day using the iPhone 15! I love ittt I have the yellow iPhone 15 upgraded from the 13 I love the 15 best iPhone yet for me! Androids aren’t my thing been an Apple fan ever since my iPod 4!
S23 all the way. It's just built differently. Even people with iphone 15 pros compliment my phone and ask what phone it is and how its so good. Everyone in the party looks at my phone when its picture time. Lol s23 is goated. Also i have to add. Samusng is beyond better for this reason ->. Almost everybody says how the features samsung has is irrelevant because no one uses them, BUT for example like 8k video, when iphone finally releases a phone with 8k, and 120hz for the base phone, phones like the s21 will still feel fresh. If they ever release a phone with in display fingerprints the s10 will still feel a little bit fresh. Even how the punch hole on the iphone is bigger than the s10 lol. Samesung just knows how to make an old phone stay fresh for years and years.

Well it depends of what system you like,if you live in the eu i would reccomend to look at the s24 ultra,if you dont need high end performance you can get the s 24 plus,the difference between both phones is not that big,so it depends of the system you like more,the best is to go to a elektronik market and try both so you can decide which suits you better
The only apps that you can't delete are some pre-installed apps which are a part of the Android operating system. Many of these apps can instead be disabled, however, which removes them from the list of apps and prevents them from using system resources.
As always the animations on samsung are jerky. They haven't fixed the problem. When people say Android is laggy first of all this opinion is because of samsung phones. It's just sad to see it happen. Apple never has something like this happen and that's just a fact.

Its hard to compare battery life of Android to iOS and I say that as an iOS user that was a former android user. Because apps truly run in the background on Android whereas they don't technically on iOS. I long for the option to allow apps to truly run in the background or at the same time on iOS. Perhaps is app pairing comes with iOS 18 we could see that but I bet battery life will take a hit.
I have the S23 since last year in summer. The only upset (and it's a BIG one) is the battery. It drains extremely fast, every minute 1%. Only with all battery savings on which you can find in the internet. I'm nit buying Samsung ever again!
@SharkyTS it has the snapdragon, no heating issues. Just the battery drain is extreme fast. I must buy another phone, maybe an iphone, I'm so upset with what Samsung is doing.

I have both. Love both. S23 feels faster to scroll and iphone has a slightly better overall camera. Battery is also better on iphone. It only comes to if you want an android device or an iphone.

Yeah, idk why everyone hates on Apple so extremely much. Samsung is more than fine but Apples phones just work, reliable, and have good software support.
Well probably there aren’t many differences, however s23 seems quite better. I’d had it for half a year and it was doing great (except for heating issues and battery drain). In general, it’s great. Recently I have moved to iphone 15 pro, cause I liked the design and wanted something new. It’s not like “completely better”. They are all cool. So if you wanna try something new, you can buy s23. Probably it won’t disappoint you
id say the s23 is a better deal over the 15 and i have the 15. the only reason i got the 15 was because i have a whole ecosystem so switching over to samsung is gonna be a big jump that i don’t know if im completely ready to do. if i switch over im going to get the z flip model though.

Battery percentages are represented differently on iPhones. Apple has been doing this for years. The top couple of percentage points of iPhones aren't displayed the same way as the rest of the range, making it seem like they stay at 100%-95% for way longer. The discharge rate after those top percent are more representative of the actual capacity. If you really need to compare battery life just look at real world test videos.

Both good phones. I’ve had iPhones and Samsungs. Personally just don’t like IOS so will stick to Samsung from now on. But both great.

I got the S23 ULTRA in November 2023 and I was impressed by how powerful it was, so I got the S23 in April 2024 (as a secondary small phone with the Fold3)
both of these are great cause they look good they are kinda small but sadly they both cost way too much

Tried both before choosing: I have to say I feel ios is a little bit smoother, but for my personal preferences, s23 is the better option of the twos.
P.S. Apple, 60 Hz display on a 850€ phone (Italian price), is not acceptable in 2024.

S23 all the way. It's just built differently. Even people with iphone 15 pros compliment my phone and ask what phone it is and how its so good. Everyone in the party looks at my phone when its picture time. Lol s23 is goated. Also i have to add. Samusng is beyond better for this reason ->. Almost everybody says how the features samsung has is irrelevant because no one uses them, BUT for example like 8k video, when iphone finally releases a phone with 8k, and 120hz for the base phone, phones like the s21 will still feel fresh. If they ever release a phone with in display fingerprints the s10 will still feel a little bit fresh. Even how the punch hole on the iphone is bigger than the s10 lol. Samesung just knows how to make an old phone stay fresh for years and years.

S23 is a diamond in the rough and goes unnoticed. Everyone goes for the Ultra and iphones but the S23 base model is so compact but powerful.

Well it depends of what system you like,if you live in the eu i would reccomend to look at the s24 ultra,if you dont need high end performance you can get the s 24 plus,the difference between both phones is not that big,so it depends of the system you like more,the best is to go to a elektronik market and try both so you can decide which suits you better

Apple has a whole island 🏝 that you can't even hide, at least bloatware can be hidden or disabled on the Samsung

As always the animations on samsung are jerky. They haven't fixed the problem. When people say Android is laggy first of all this opinion is because of samsung phones. It's just sad to see it happen. Apple never has something like this happen and that's just a fact.
Get a black color s24 standard when you buy it, it looks stellar.

Hope you don't buy the Exynos version of S24; I returned it in a couple of days. S23 with SD2 CPU is still a stable version and won't regret it.

No it doesn't flicker in real life, it's the interaction with the camera that's all

Its hard to compare battery life of Android to iOS and I say that as an iOS user that was a former android user. Because apps truly run in the background on Android whereas they don't technically on iOS. I long for the option to allow apps to truly run in the background or at the same time on iOS. Perhaps is app pairing comes with iOS 18 we could see that but I bet battery life will take a hit.

I have the S23 since last year in summer.
The only upset (and it's a BIG one) is the battery.
It drains extremely fast, every minute 1%.

@SharkyTS it has the snapdragon, no heating issues. Just the battery drain is extreme fast. I must buy another phone, maybe an iphone, I'm so upset with what Samsung is doing.

I have both. Love both. S23 feels faster to scroll and iphone has a slightly better overall camera. Battery is also better on iphone. It only comes to if you want an android device or an iphone.

Well probably there aren’t many differences, however s23 seems quite better. I’d had it for half a year and it was doing great (except for heating issues and battery drain). In general, it’s great. Recently I have moved to iphone 15 pro, cause I liked the design and wanted something new. It’s not like “completely better”. They are all cool. So if you wanna try something new, you can buy s23. Probably it won’t disappoint you

id say the s23 is a better deal over the 15 and i have the 15. the only reason i got the 15 was because i have a whole ecosystem so switching over to samsung is gonna be a big jump that i don’t know if im completely ready to do. if i switch over im going to get the z flip model though.

I did notice that iPhone 15 lost just 1% of battery life and Samsung lost 3 % battery life in this video 😂
iOS is known for staying near 100% battery then falling off quickly after that 😅
Battery percentages are represented differently on iPhones. Apple has been doing this for years. The top couple of percentage points of iPhones aren't displayed the same way as the rest of the range, making it seem like they stay at 100%-95% for way longer. The discharge rate after those top percent are more representative of the actual capacity. If you really need to compare battery life just look at real world test videos.
