GALAXY. I am an S24 user. Never going back to Apple. Edit: it depends on who you prefer, and samsung is my pick. It's better FOR ME. If you prefer apple, that's ur choice.
At this point it really just comes down to preference in ecosystem- phones are so good now you can survive on 4 year old iPhone 12 or Galaxy S20 and be perfectly fine for normal day to day activities.
@@briengakaplan-b1550 this. I was a long term Galaxy S user. Switched from a S20 to an iPhone 15 Pro, and there’s no big of a diference. Both great phones and systems.

@@dpeti92 It's mostly an Android problem. I even considered going for the Vivo X200 Pro because its camera hardware is wayy better than even the S24U and it had no shutter lag (my brother owns the X100 Pro) but just decided on the iPhone since it's been a while 😅 and photos I took with it look exactly the same when I upload them to IG and stuff

It’s really hard to leave Apple or to even consider leaving Apple, iOS is just extremely smooth and polished, and their products work seamlessly with one another. I love my 13 Pro Max.
I thought about buying the 16 Pro Max for a long time, but due to the prices not really dropping, I ended up buying the S24 Ultra a month ago. I paid a total of €750 and got a brand new device. I love the boxy design and didn't want to wait for the 25 Ultra.
nah Nick's ain't no fan, he's just straight up unbiased, might be a "functionality" fan though, which is cool! for me the display is a big aspect, especially for longer screen times/phone usage (like not just for calls or shooting videos and stuff, then that'd be the iPhone ofc), so it's the galaxy phone, the refresh rate is just so accurately on sync with your finger, like when you scroll, the page can go really fast, depending on finger speed, but also, it can slow down (or stop) quick by itself, which for me means less headache, whereas iPhone is kinda still on scroll for longer, unless you stop the scrolling page with your finger.
These comparisons are always interesting but I wonder who they're for. I'm on iOS and I'm not going to change since I don't like Android. Are there really people that migrate back and forth often?
I think what it comes down to for me is the maps apple maps for me helps me navigate better but that screen on the s24 along with the customization have my heart ha
I like both and constantly swap between both. Im using an S24+ at the moment. I was going to buy the 16PM, but Ive heard poor reviews about the phone being buggy and getting hot. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ So I dunno. They (iPhone/Sammy) have their pros and cons.
It's quite funny that you cannot directly set your locally stored mp3 music as a ringtone on iOS, You'd either purchase it on iTunes or download an app that would create a ringtone from your music This is something even android 7 can do simply by directly using your music as ringtone 💀☠️😭😂
I recently switched from being an iPhone user for probably 10 years to Galaxy s24, and so far I'm very happy! I just wished I got the s24+ since I had that size on iphone before. The only thing I miss about iPhone is being able to make tables in the notes app, iMessage, facetime and Face-ID.. I'm happy with the camera but I think iPhone zoomes in more smoothly while recording. Also I think siri is better than google Assistant but it works fine. On the other hand, samsung have a lot of other features that I love that's not available on iphone, like split screen, customization with literally everything etc
Tbh the only thing I think iPhone is better than android in general is how their apps are optimized especially for gaming. iOS apps especially games are more optimized than android apps tbh. Also their camera is a little bit better on iOS than Android. Anything else that this 2 I mentioned android is just better
I just got my wife’s iPhone 15 Pro Max after I bought her the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I daily drive a Galaxy S24 Ultra and I was surprised to feel like One UI feels more intuitive than iOS nowadays. I intend to use the iPhone 15 Pro Max as my backup phone and keep the S24 Ultra as my main. Both phones are great. Cheers! 🍻
I have both S24 Ultra and 16 Pro Max. The S24 Ultra is better in every way EXCEPT Video Recording. That's the only thing my iPhone crushes my S24 Ultra.
@AquilaTheHun the over saturation is a little too much for me sometimes. It either looks amazing or the video looks bad, and the Zooming in on the Galaxy is horrendous compared to the iPhone. I know they've had software updates to mimic the issue but the way it changes from 3x to 5x is not smooth whatsoever. I carry both everywhere I go. My S24 Ultra is for my business number and my iPhone is my Personal. Comparing both daily the Video recording is my only dislike from the Galaxy.
@@ryter98243 I also noticed the Zoom issue. Sad because video recording was one of the main reasons I switched. All in all, I am still relieved to have got rid of iOS and iPadOS (I bought an S10 Tab Ultra too). Incomparably better.
@@AquilaTheHun on Normal Recording when you zoom the phone has to make the switch between the lenses which causes the lag. The only way to rid of the zoom lag issue is to do your recordings in Pro mode. In Pro Mode You choose which lense to record in between Ultra Wide Mode, Wide, Telephoto and Super Telephoto. Once you choose the mode you want and start recording it'll stick to that one lense so zooming in and out won't cause that zoom lag issue you get from the phone having to switch lenses. @@ryter98243 Thanks a lot for the tip! I just stopped using pro mode because I usually recorded 1.5 hr sessions and the changing light conditions messed up my video...In these videos, however, I never used zooming so whenever I want to zoom (short videos) I'll go to pro mode then, as you suggested.
S24 ultra had been a reliable device when I travelled. As a solo traveller, taking solo pictures is a difficult job to pull off. But thanks to the S-Pen. I just placed my phone in a safe standing position, took the s-pen and did some clicks. The object eraser when I remove unwanted elements in my photos is easy to carry out as well. And as someone who usually takes notes, SPen is such a great accessory. Plus, i see the samsung's fingerprint security better than iphone's face id Having the S24 ultra served less hassles in my daily routine.

Its quite simple. Both phones are great. I feel like as a consumer and forking over 1000 dollars, i want the phone that does more which is the galaxy. The iphone is more of a fashion statement that says look at me i have an iphone.
iphones are pretty powerful though and can throw anything at them, which is one of the main reasons i rock with them. though, i find hella people that have had an iphone 16 for a few months and just found out that a whole capture button is in the side of the phone😂.So ur statement is definitely right.
11:36 only good deal if you like games etc for me is the pro and the pro max cause ,60hz is just not cutting it but if you like to do other stuff maybe is not a big deal.
I have the 15 PM and the S24 Ultra, love both phones but prefer Samsung more. I use iPhone as my daily just because of iMessage and Findmy, it’s so much better than Samsung. In regards to the video I find it sad and funny that we are comparing iPhones newest device to Samsungs last years product when we are days away from the new Samsung and still the last year model will beat Apples newest product, Apple is really letting their fan base down
Was a Galaxy S23 Ultra user but went back to iPhone with the 16 Pro Max. Apps just work better and sync with apps like Apple Health etc seamlessly. I do like the Samsung ecosystem but with all prices the same, Apple just works together better. Sad but Samsung needs to work on playing outside their ecosystem better. Especially with apps for other devices.
For a phone from January 2024, S24 ultra has held up very well and performs consistently great. So that gets the edge for me, arguably the best phone of 2024... although iPhone 16 pro max is a clean, excellent and reliable alternative as well👍✌️
Samsung is better, coming from a 16 pro max user. Apple is not the best brand anymore like it used to be years ago. I don't even feel they're giving us 120hz they feel more like 90hz phones. Switching to s25 ultra in a few days.
Just because you side with one soulless billion dollar company over its predecessor doesn’t make you better, and it doesn’t make you "based" either. All you’re doing is trading one big company for another What really matters is questioning all sides instead of just picking one. If you really cared, you’d support the small company that started a day or even a year ago and help them grow by buying their phones. Samsung didnt start yesterday people dont prefer samsung they just hate apple... or that is just my point of view anyways
Price: Samsung Build quality: both Display: Samsung Performance: apple Software: both Cameras: Samsung Features: Samsung Ai feature: Samsung (cuz Apple's in beta still) Battery: apple (for now)
It's incredible how Samsung wants to look more and more like the iPhone, and the worst thing is that no one says it, especially these content creators often bought.
I disagree. They made animations better yes on par if not better than the iPhone. The control center looks nothing like the one on ios. And the icons look like one ui. At the end of the day, its still android. You get make it how you want it.
Galaxy is less calibrated, less uniformed, dimmer, and has worse image retention prevention technologies…… in 2025????? Yall hertz glazers are something else
Many people simply don't care. Seriously, it's true. The younger or tech oriented people who look at UA-cam videos like this probably do... but just as many people don't. (shrug) Besides, iphones always had the smooth animations, so it doesn't matter as much.
My Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is easily the best smartphone I have ever used in my entire life, no doubt about it. I absolutely love Samsung as a company, and im so glad they're starting to make a huge comeback and beat out Apple and many other companies. I will never ever in my life pick another smartphone company over Samsung and its Galaxy S Ultra series. Samsung and Sony are the two best tech companies in the world in my opinion and im fully devtoed to both the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra series and the Sony Playstation!
My friend is still salty at me for recommending the 16 Pro instead of the S23/S24. 😅 Even compared the performance to their Poco F3 and the difference are barely noticeable. And they don't do soc med so that advantage didn't matter. Sometimes these benchmarks make it seem that the cheaper/older phone is so bad when in reality the differences are minimal unless you're pushing them to their limits. My sibling barely uses their 14 Pro Max and mains their Oppo Reno. So just pick what fits your needs. And as someone who uses their phone mainly for content consumption, any phone with a decent screen will do.
I honestly think it comes down to preference. If you think speed and a phone loaded with features equals better, get a Samsung. But if you think optimization and smoothness equals better, get an iPhone. I’m an iPhone user and I think it’s better, in my opinion, because of its amazing optimization. Either way, nice video Nick!
Both are giants, depending on your preference, apple has many advantages, battery king, ram management, apps are great, Samsung has its advantages as well can be tweeked to respond super lightning fast and customizable galore. It’s your money, buy what makes you happy. If you still have an ol flip, good for you.
Nothing against the video, I just want to say…it doesn’t matter. They are both phones, great phones. Buy whatever you can afford and whatever you want.
I really dislike the way Samsung slowed down the animation when exiting an app. It's even slower than the iPhone's animation. I like my Galaxy phones to be fast and snappy, I don't care to wait all day on animations alone.
@@shraykumar6892 my brother all androids are equal when you upload any video on social media ...try sending snaps to your friend from both Android and iOS you'll see the difference , I own both S23 ultra and 16 pro max
Galaxy hands down. Even if you buy the January 2024 released S24 Ultra today, you're getting a way better device than the 3 month old iPhone 16 Pro phones. And the fact that a way better performing Galaxy Ultra phone is coming out in less than a month is insane. The S25 Ultra is going to make the 16 Pros look like midrange phones.
@AquilaTheHun That's one of the best decisions they've made. Ultra owners will still buy the phone, whether they've enjoyed or disliked the square body, and now it will help with sales for ppl who have been buying the Plus because they don't like the sharp corners and boxy design. Trust me, Samsung is in for a great year with the S25 Ultra.
@AquilaTheHun If you have an S24U, don't do it if you don't care about the rounded cornerd, 50mp ultrawide and the massive improvements on the performance, cause the 8 Elite chip seems to be a killer this year. If you're happy with what you got, no need. S23U owners I would say should be happy with what they got, unless they want a flat display with the anti-reflective coating and the benefits of a 2-year performance upgrade. The S22U and older should a no brainer upgrade.
iPhone Never going back to scamsung Scamsung doesn’t update there phones I had a s20 with andriod 12 and it never got andriod 13, even the s20 ultra got it and other s20s i tried called customer service and Samsung was shit telling me they couldn’t help me, I have an iPhone 13 and I got iOS 18 on same day of release as everyone else including those with the 15 pro max😂!!! Idc about the stupid ai, my point is, is APPLE updates all there phones and Scamsung doesn’t, if your buying a used one, new in the box I think it’s better luck
I’m Apple user but the look of Galaxy S24 Ultra is much much hot than the any iPhone after 11.. 😌🔥 I’m just waiting to see the new S25 Ultra and probably i will go to S25 Ultra from iPhone 13 Pro…

Samsung didnt start yesterday people dont prefer samsung they just hate apple... or that is just my point of view anyways
Price: Samsung
Build quality: both
Display: Samsung
Performance: apple
Software: both
Cameras: Samsung

Ai feature: Samsung (cuz Apple's in beta still)
Battery: apple (for now)

Need the wallpaper that you apply on s24 not ultra please 🙏
You UA-camrs say Samsung is the best, but daily an iPhone, all the time…
Yup... been that way for like 10 years now. UA-camrs always hype Samsung, but iphone always wins in sales.
Nah 😩
It's incredible how Samsung wants to look more and more like the iPhone, and the worst thing is that no one says it, especially these content creators often bought.
I disagree. They made animations better yes on par if not better than the iPhone. The control center looks nothing like the one on ios. And the icons look like one ui. At the end of the day, its still android. You get make it how you want it.
💯
Let's hope you keep that same tune. Since iPhone 17 is going to look closer to pixel 9 than anything else.
@@alexanderrahl482how do you figure?

Thank you
Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to do that next time!
As a Samsung s series user, the spen is there because it has become a traditional thing of the s series
Samsung rules, but waiting for s25 ultra
60hz in 2025?
Galaxy is less calibrated, less uniformed, dimmer, and has worse image retention prevention technologies…… in 2025?????
Yall hertz glazers are something else
@@Mistygiosad
@@Mistygioyup I agree
There's a rumor that iphone 17 will have 120hz but it's hard to believe because Apple is just greedy.
Many people simply don't care. Seriously, it's true. The younger or tech oriented people who look at UA-cam videos like this probably do... but just as many people don't. (shrug)
Besides, iphones always had the smooth animations, so it doesn't matter as much.
Samsung S24 Series is phone of the Year 2024, Samsung On Top🔥
Just use what you want. Stop comparing and enjoy your phone. It's good that not all of us want the same thing.
S24's are 2024 phones
S25's will be even better
Even compared the performance to their Poco F3 and the difference are barely noticeable.
And as someone who uses their phone mainly for content consumption, any phone with a decent screen will do.
in 13:54 why S24 Ultra notification panel Opening ??
Finger if you see you eyes.
iPhone 13 Pro Max gang for life!
The animations were literally the same when opening and swiping away apps shit was just as fast and he used a lot of offline apps for the android
Which iPhone Apple is on now!? …. I call them IPhone sameteen since they all look the same since iPhone 12… Samsung for life!
That optimization bs doesn't applies anymore
That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it, sir. I say it does apply.
Both are giants, depending on your preference, apple has many advantages, battery king, ram management, apps are great, Samsung has its advantages as well can be tweeked to respond super lightning fast and customizable galore. It’s your money, buy what makes you happy. If you still have an ol flip, good for you.
Gaming apps optimisation batterylife video all goes to the iphone. Optimised apps and games is the big reason why im staying with iphone.
Bs
Finally 4k videos 🫶🫶
Nothing against the video, I just want to say…it doesn’t matter. They are both phones, great phones. Buy whatever you can afford and whatever you want.
I really dislike the way Samsung slowed down the animation when exiting an app. It's even slower than the iPhone's animation. I like my Galaxy phones to be fast and snappy, I don't care to wait all day on animations alone.
Samsung can edit F Aparture in picture mode ? I really did not know before
I've noticed the band-aid, are you ok 😢
Love my iPhone 16 pro max.
For social media it's always iOS no debate
Unless you're fine with social media in One UI and want everything else so you get One UI

If only they just hadn't curved the square shape of the S24U 😢
@AquilaTheHun That's one of the best decisions they've made. Ultra owners will still buy the phone, whether they've enjoyed or disliked the square body, and now it will help with sales for ppl who have been buying the Plus because they don't like the sharp corners and boxy design. Trust me, Samsung is in for a great year with the S25 Ultra.
@@walterdbrown I'm wondering if I should upgrade. Is any hardware improvement really worth the money.
@@walterdbrown For the time being, there's been no use case to exhaust the hardware capabilities of my S24U. Only that little devil is nudging me... 😁
iPhone
Never going back to scamsung
Scamsung doesn’t update there phones
I had a s20 with andriod 12 and it never got andriod 13, even the s20 ultra got it and other s20s i tried called customer service and Samsung was shit telling me they couldn’t help me,
I have an iPhone 13 and I got iOS 18 on same day of release as everyone else including those with the 15 pro max😂!!! Idc about the stupid ai, my point is, is APPLE updates all there phones and Scamsung doesn’t, if your buying a used one, new in the box I think it’s better luck

I love the boxy shape of the 24 ultra, its my favourite design
I’m Apple user but the look of Galaxy S24 Ultra is much much hot than the any iPhone after 11.. 😌🔥 I’m just waiting to see the new S25 Ultra and probably i will go to S25 Ultra from iPhone 13 Pro…
