- Hi teachers! In today’s video I am showing you my amazing iPad Pro (v.2020 12.9” 250gb with 2nd generation pencil). This is honestly one of the best purchases I have made and makes my life so much easier😍 I wanted to talk you through some of my favourite apps and features to hopefully convince you why you need one💪🏼 There are a lot of iPad Pro reviews on UA-cam but most of the people seem to be medical students! I wanted to give a teacher’s point of view of the great features of this iPad✏️

Just got mine in the mail today. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxhcEDB3r-OJ3_X5hQzr7k1ZofTQy1ao_U The corners of the box was a little smashed but I think that’s more of the shipping’s fault. iPad was in perfect condition though. I ordered the yellow one thinking it was going to be a bright vibrant color. Instead I looks like more of a Gold color. I personally prefer the gold look. Definitely not disappointed but just a heads up to the ones expecting a brighter cream of yellow.
Hey this was a nice and informative video. I’m currently a student and use only my iPad Pro 2020 12.9 512gb cellular and WiFi model and it works wonders. I gave my MacBook Pro to my wife who is also a student. I love the apple eco system because it works so smoothly and the products are the best on the markets. Its nice to here from a teachers point of view how they use an iPad Pro. All my teachers think I’m crazy for not having a laptop and using an iPad Pro instead. I have the magic keyboard also so my iPad set up is just as good as a computer. Plus my major is psychology so I don’t need any programs you might find on laptop. I LOVE MY IPAD (As a student!) It is also a great everyday productive tool for me! I have run my own Media Production company (I’m 15) and time management + productivity is so essential for me!! Now, I make videos teaching others how to do the same! Maybe some of my videos can help you! I am subscribed, can't wait to see what you put out next!

Love this video, it’s like you read my mind! Very informative, I subscribed straight away 😁 I saw you were planning a quiz on the lion the witch the wardrobe and I lovee this book. I was just wondering what sort of lessons/activities could you plan around this book for different subjects. Also, is there any alternative iPads you recommend which may be at a lower price point but still useful for a teacher? Or do you recommend splurging on an iPad Pro? xx
We read the book as a class, mainly focusing on literacy related activities - the children did a character study and wrote a “Through the Door” poem where they described what they saw using the 5 senses. We did a lot of Art and Drama activities such as building a wardrobe out of cardboard, making lion masks and acting out the scene of stepping through the wardrobe. We also made connections to Christianity and Easter as there is a lot of symbolism in the book. Hope this helps!
The iPad Pro does everything that my MacBook can, however I’m not sure that all iPad models are as flexible as this in terms of compatibility. I know that there were issues with some previous models such as not letting you access the desktop version of some sites. I notice a huge difference in my iPad when compared to older models that some of my family members have, so if you can afford it I would be tempted to say just go for it as this was what I did.

Teacher here- I’m thinking about getting an iPad to eventually replace my old MacBook. How would you say the device performs while multitasking? I’m considering it but worried that it could be laggy if I have say zoom, google classroom, google docs, and UA-cam all open at the same time, especially if screen sharing. What have your experiences been in such a situation? Thanks!
You can only multi task with 2 windows at a time on the iPad, however you can have multiple tabs open and switch between these apps easily during a call. Hope that makes sense. Lag is no different than on my MacBook. A lot of people use the iPad as a second screen while hosting a call so that they can screen share and control call settings from their iPad but still see their participants on another screen, which is something I do a lot.

Very informative video! I also use iPad Pro for teaching and planning. I also use weekly template on GoodNotes for writing out my lesson plans. Do you use any other apps for planning and keeping up the daily to do’s and calendar stuff?
At the moment I’m using the calendar on teams to keep track of live lessons and any upcoming deadlines. So far I’ve mainly been using Goodnotes but definitely need to try and experiment with more of the available apps! Tend to find a lot of the UA-cam reviews are from medical students or art students so would be interesting to hear more teacher’s POVs.

Definitely go for the iPad! It’s an adjustment at first but couldn’t recommend it more, so portable and the pencil makes it super flexible to use as a notebook too!😁 If I could go back to when I was at uni I wish I had one!

I was literally just looking for videos like this as I just got the iPad Pro. Do you have any tips on creating worksheets on the Ipad for students? I'm switching from using a surface that my school provided and am trying to figure out how to make worksheets on the Ipad. Thank you!
This isn’t something that I have much experience using my iPad for! I have inserted documents into procreate and goodnotes before and annotated them etc. There is a text box function for typing so I’m sure you could use this and insert any shapes or graphics. Either that or the Microsoft suite is fully compatible or Google docs so those are options too!Xx

I’m studying BMus Education year 3 at Aberdeen for teaching music in a secondary school, finding my iPad Pro 2021 11 inch really useful for note taking, making presentations and creating study notes 😁 I’ve got a paperlike branded screen protector and it makes it so much better for writing and drawing, creating little doodles for my school placement slides later this year 😂

Hello what would you recommend getting a laptop or an iPad for a student that is in university studying education? In order to do their work on .
Personally, I love how flexible the iPad is. I like that I can use the Apple Pencil to hand write my notes - it is very portable yet can do everything my MacBook does. My sister is an education student and uses the iPad Pro. Everyone is different though and some people might prefer the feel of using an actual laptop. You have to do what is right for you.

If you do, is there any problem while you are conducting the meeting? ( like you can’t hear your students clearly )
The watch's battery does not appear on the iPad because the apple watch cannot connect to the tablet.

Do you know which app and which iPad or laptop are used in this video? I see that as soon as the teacher finishes underlining to attract students' focus and attention on the words being taught, the underline disappears. This way the lesson page is not cluttered with too many underlines.
