Just popped in an order for the bumpers. With free delivery in the UK I'm happy to pay what they cost. Follow On: You really need to add another strip of the 3M 300LSE to the kit as at least a spare, because if you are new to sticking these on your drone you're going to make mistakes just like I did. Never used this tape before and I made an error which meant I wasted just enough to not have enough left over to cover one of the bumpers. I had to use offcuts. Its cheap enough so please add another strip. EDIT: I have literally just found out via NJ Tech's channel that there is an installation video. Absolutely no mention of this anywhere on the product page. Please get a link added to the product page so we know how to fit them without wasting the tape. It seems obvious now, but not if you have never fitted them before, or had no experience with using said tape. I'm really annoyed with myself as I have fitted all 4 of mine incorrectly. I now have to buy my own tape, try and take them off without damaging the bumpers, and install correctly. All this could have been avoided if the link to the installation video was clearly linked on the product page. And also I really want to buy another set as a backup in case I lose one, but at the time I couldn't afford to buy 2 sets at once (or have enough faith in the product if I'm being honest, which is understandable, as you can't just trust the word of the developer without trying them yourself first.) If I buy another set now, do I get the 40% discount on the second set?
i love these, too bad i opted for a LED Strip that also acts as a bumper (its rubberized and rounded), its not nearly as protective but... it looks good?
Nice 1 pal - Im not new to drones - but FPV Acro - is tough on my old brain - so anything to protect the learning curve - Ordered the tango protectors. cheers
Not enough talking anywhere regarding avoiding switching modes when having a red error. Even after posting my issues on reddit and to DJI this precious information never surfaced. Kinda dumbstruck how it is not out there and not common knowledge when you own an avata 2. Had to learn the hard way TWICE 😐 The guards sold anywhere is shit, and can definitely see your guard design seems way better not interfering with the "open" area under the props. I resorted to high density tape and insulation tape to DIY a guard that does not severely effect flight. Your guard is definitely tempting, just my bank accout dont agree 😅
I was playing pubg with my American buddy and used “dink” to describe a hole we were hiding in. He pointed out that the word “dink” is a racial slur. Just an FYI, I get you didn’t know right? 😁 Edit: Great video Andy 👍🇬🇧
@@Dan23_7 I’m British, thank you though. I re-watched and it’s definitely “dinks” but I was attempting to offer Andy an FYI because until a couple of months ago I had no idea what “dink” meant in the US. 👍
@@wearemany73 I’ve never heard the word “dink” in all my 45 years. Here’s a fun fact for you though… In our town we have a pub and when it first opened in the 80’s it was called “The Dingman”. It’s built on what was an old motor factory site. A “dingman” was a bloke who QC’d vehicles on the production line before they went for paint. It’s called “The Gates” now and has been for probably 20 years. But still an ode to the old motor factory as it’s where the gates to the factory used to be.
Dink is a term used to describe a dent or a scratch, or any form of knock on an object. Its been used for decades to describe as such in the automotive business all over the world. Dear oh dear. 😁
The Amazon Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers not only throw off performance, many of them make Avata 2 ridiculous sounding. SCREAMING, WHISTLING - soubds almost like Avata 1.
i just receive the avata 2 tonight, my first drone ever ! haha i love these bumpers , they seem to fit perfectly , thank you mate for all your videos

I bought these bumpers and I recommend them compared to the cheaper ones available
Thanks Rob!
Just in time for the Neo drop ;)
dang man... $33 for TPU prints? least you could do is offer 2 sets for that price
DJI not sent you the Neo to play with? 🤓
Does this put the weight over 250grams?
It's over 250g anyway 😁
Dont encourage the bubble wrappers! 😂

I think he said “ding”
It’s a British term for a dent or scratch.
