What if Vegeta Wasn't Super Prideful?

- Vegeta's pride has gotten in his way on multiple occasions throughout Dragon Ball Z mostly but also Dragon Ball Super to an extent. So I was thinking, what if vegeta wasn't super prideful, what would have happened if he still held that will to fight, but his pride wasn't so off the charts that he would allow enemies like Cell, Frieza and many others to power up and gain the upper hand. What if Vegeta actually and properly trained with Trunks in the time chamber! Vegeta's pride has gotten in the way a lot and that is what we will dive into in this dragon ball what if! I can see Future Trunks showing the glimpse of SS2 like Gohan did.
I think it would have been more than the glimps. He had the drive and had the potential and need for it. But he didn't have a partner to train with or teacher to hone his abilities like goku did for gohan.
If he wasnt insanely prideful him and trunks easily would have surpassed goku and gohan. Future trunks had potential but noone to train with or teach him like teen gohan had with goku. I think if vegeta actually worked with trunks. trunks or both trynjs and vegeta probably would have broke into ssj2
vegeta, nappa and raditz would be far more powerful since they would train a lot more (with vegeta giving the other two an extra push by training them)
raditz would also probably be less radical with how he approached goku and the z fighters. explaining things instead of kidnapping gohan.
and yes. I agree that vegeta, nappa and raditz would side with the earthlings to fight Frieza. it will take a while since the earthlings are far weaker to be of worth (even kakarot would be too weak) but vegeta would see that, at least, kakarot had some potential.
while training, the saiyan would learn that the earthlings aren't as worthless as they believed so the team would train harder and they would be better prepared to go against Frieza.
with four adult saiyans, and gohan, it would be hard but possible that both, goku and vegeta, reach Super Saiyan before their fight against Frieza or, during that fight.
one important point is that, if they defeat Frieza before he tries to destroy namek, that means goku won't have a chance to learn instant transmision but, on the other side, that means no heart illness and a lot more training.
the android saga would be far shorter since it would happen in Trunks timeline but with goku, raditz and nappa alive. as soon as they destroy either A17 or A18 Cell won't be able to become perfect since there will be only one timeline, no time machine needed.
imperfect cell would be defenseless against the z fighters so goku wouldn't die. he will stay alive and training with the rest of the saiyans.
going against Buu would be harder but, given that vegeta wouldn't be so obsessed with fighting goku (since they train together most of the time) I doubt Buu would be revived. Dabura and Babidi would be defenseless against four adult Super Saiyan (probably SS2 or SS3) and a gohan that would be far better trained than in the canon.
Shin would take care of Buu's ball ensuring it's never opened. happy ending.
Beerus... I suppose it would happen the same way. they may get multiple super saiyan god instead of only goku but I'm sure beerus would be able to fight them all (and enjoy it) the ToP would be a team with almost all saiyan (Vegeta, Goku, Raditz, Gohan, Nappa) add Piccolo as a sixth member and I have no idea who could be the rest. maybe golden Frieza like in the canon, maybe cell became perfect in hell, maybe A18 survived cell or was resurrected... I don't know. nor I care that much. with five SSB in the team, there are very few oponents worth to mention.
I can't say anything after ToP since that's as far as I can go but I'm reasonably sure that Goku and Gohan would reach UI and improve on it.
12:35 So here's something I just realized. Cell also has his arrogance from Vegeta to a large extent. With a less prideful Vegeta, Cell (if he manages to avoid getting killed and power up to Perfect Cell) might actually train for the Cell Games, which is... scary, to say the least.

Things like that are interesting but you just goes through them like a train, making the video kinda boring
I would argue that vegeta swallowed his pride for letting him being ruled by freiza all those years. If he showed pride, I would think he'd rather die

Or would Vegeta suggest that they knock them out and Bulma not only removes their bombs, but also fixes their programming where needed (probably amounting to "patching out" their forced drive to kill Goku, which should be enough to have them get along with the Z-Fighters)?
So, basically, Vegeta's pride is a deliberate stumbling block in the power creep of the Z Fighters. Toriyama worked in a way to keep them from advancing too fast by keeping Vegeta as the prideful loner he is.
Also, in general, I think Gogeta and Vegito would be more of an option because Vegeta would be less reluctant, but at the same time the rival boost would take a severe dip.
On a second thought, their rivalry might actually not be any less strong, but rather simply... different. That's probably a topic for a follow-up - would they still have the rival boost when fused? Yes, no, partially?
