I’m from England and I love your accent. I’m from a working class mining town and my late great-grandad was a pipe smoker and a retired miner with such a strong accent that I had to translate his English to a Canadian girl who was once visiting. Here in England, we’re losing some of our wonderful accents, which is a shame.
Hello from Californy my friend . After watching your video,I had to order myself that hat you were wearing. We are about the same age. Im a city boy with the gift of appreciation of the gab and quiet surroundings. Also have a collection of peterson pipes too. I love spend time with you also.
Keep telling the stories wentzel love hearing tell of the good old days. I grew up in the sixtys and so many things you speak of remind me of my childhood.
I enjoy listening to your stories, we are close in age. I am from central Kentucky and have similar experiences. None of our family were well off. We were working class poor. I didn’t know we were poor cause we had a good life enjoying simple things. Good home cooked food and playing in the woods, fishing with a cane pole and dig your own worms. Didn’t know there was any other way back then. We would walk the road and find pop bottles and cash them in to get a pop or some candy at the general store. We’ll see you next time, thanks for sharing.
Wentzel, you keep telling your stories I’m on I 40 30 one in the morning and I’ve listened to your whole video. I think it’s wonderful and people still have their shoes repaired. I have boots that I’ve had five and six souls put on in my dress shoes, get resold so people still live and still repair shoes, the Old Way, God bless you, brother
Hello Sir! I always enjoy your videos, and this one was no exception! Like others have said, I make them for the same reason, so that my grandkids can see them in the future, after I’ve gone. It would be wonderful to be able to see my grandparents in videos, but there only a few Super 8 reels of them at a few family gatherings. Take care my friend!
O heck yea I’ll stop in, very much like to hear your stories. The one where you get proper grammar reminders. Lord that’s the way up here. Like well.. I need tarz on my ole jeep. Or if you can see some, then something is on far.. lol theirs probably more but I can’t think of it right now. And also your presentation works very well. I’m smokin right along with ya but mine is a cigar. I had a cao Mx two I really like those. Lol I’m a cigar nerd and a snake nerd love ‘em both. Thanks for the video Mr Wentzel.

Yeah, the only reason I do my videos is because I want my children to be able to watch them when they become interested enough. It's something I don't have of my dad.

My great-grandpa was a cobbler. I loved going to his shop as a kid and watching him make or repair shoes.
Those shops have a good aroma sure enough don't they
The leathers, oils, conditioners, polishes…oh yeah.
I love going into our local shoe repair shop. I give them some business when I can. But that lovely smell, it's worth going in for that alone.
