@@NFLWifeClub Hey, I hope things go as well as they possibly can for you and you recover quickly. I ended up having surgery then 6 months of chemo and had to do the whole colostomy surgery and wore the bag for a few months but thankfully it was reversed and I've been fine except for some neuropathy from the chemo. I'm not trying to worry you, sorry if I did, everyone has different cases, praying for the best for you.
I’m so glad you’re cancer free. My best friend passed away from colon cancer and she had no signs. She went in for a routine colonoscopy, and that’s when she found out.
I was diagnosed with colon cancer around three months ago by having a colonoscopy. I've spent the summer going to different hospitals for CT scans, PET scan, Liver MRI scan. I also had surgery to fit a colonal stent to keep my colon open as the tumour growing there is only leaving a small opening. I eventually saw an oncologist on 29th Aug 24 for my results. Unfortunately, the cancer has travelled to my lymph nodes, my liver, and my right lung.. They can't operate. I've been told i start chemotherapy in two weeks, and it will only prolong my life. They gave me 1 - 2 years' survival. Its the most sickening, heartbreaking news. I'm only 52. I wanted to learn to drive and own my first car, maybe get a passport and see the world. But obviously, that will never happen now. I spent my life looking after my disabled mum who died last year. I'm in a very depressed state of mind, and if not for my two house cats, I'd be worse. The love they give me is amazing. Animals can tell.
I pray that God who does exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can imagine, visits your soul and takes away the physical and emotional pain. You will not die but live and declare the good works of the Lord. May God heal you and give you peace that surpasses all understanding 🙏
Am 28 but was diagnosed with colon cancer two weeks ago...my symptoms were just pain and lose of weight ... doing chemo though...so we are all going to be victors❤
What an informative and clear presentation on the warning signs of colon cancer and the importance of early detection! The use of 3D animation really helps to visualize the concepts, making it easier to understand the progression from polyps to cancer. This video is an excellent resource for anyone looking to educate themselves on the risks and preventative measures related to colorectal cancer. It’s crucial for discussions like these to become more mainstream so people can take proactive steps towards their health. Thank you for sharing this vital information!
Please get yourself checked people. Yes it’s scary but as a colorectal cancer survivor you’ll be glad you did. It’s rough but beats the alternative. God bless you all and stay strong
My auntie died from colon cancer , my family has a bad habit of letting stuff get to the point where it is to late , they knew that she was sick but about time they took her to he seen she looked like she was 9 months pregnant from having the cancer so long and having at a late stage , they set her up for surgery to remove the tumor but she died as soon as they got started . I really miss her and i hate i was a kid and couldn't really help. But basically dont wait until its to late and it doesnt matter if you are scared to go to the doctor just go think about your family, kids and people who love you !!! Hope everyone doing alright and I pray everyone is well ❤️🩹
From what I seen as a kid no she didn't go anywhere they layed her in bed and that is where she would always be I don't remember her getting up , the only time she went was when it got real bad she looked like she was 9 months pregnant but it was just a tumor in her stomach , they let us visit her before the surgery but she passed away while everyone was visiting before the surgery . @@Warmfireandtea
Currently dealing with the same thing with my dad. He didn't want to go to the doctor even though he was obviously sick. He let it go for almost a year until just recently he had to go to the hospital in an ambulance cause he was so weak he couldn't get up. Stage 4 colon cancer spread to the liver. He starts chemo soon but things aren't looking good for him. Edit: He passed away only a few weeks after I left this comment.
I just had a endoscope and next appointment my GI track doctor I be having a colon scope. I have a very bad feeling about my stomach and small intestine. I’ve also lost a lot of weight!
Over 50? I had my first colonoscopy around 45 when I saw bright red blood in my stool. It was a bleeding polyp and was removed. My grandfather died of colon cancer so I wasn’t going to take “No” when I asked for a colonoscopy.
I had done the colo-guard type test in years past, my doctor told me next time I would need to have a colonoscopy. That was Oct 2021....Dec 16 2021..I doubled over in severe pain. I was taken to the Hospital ER..Test were done. In a matter of hours I was in surgery for what turned out to be colon cancer. After several months of chemo, I was in remission, thank God. However about a year later I went in for routine scans , and was told I had a spot on my lung, unfortunately it had returned in my lung, but through excellent care from my doctor's and radiation treatments I am once again in remission. If..it should return again...I will fight again. Get your colonoscopy done early , do it when you are 35-40 years old . It may very well save your life.
Snap! I to had colon cancer and after opp and adjuvenet chemo I spent 3 years free. However on a routine CT they found a single nodule in my lung but forgot to tell me about it! They also "forgot" I to order a follow up PET scan which by the time they realised It had spread to my right upper Hiler making it none operarable. 18 months on palliative chemo now so it won't be much longer before I have to stop. It's so important that younger people get regular checks and yes, CHECK THEIR POO! it saves your life. I wish you all the hope and strength to keep that rubbish at bay friend. 🖕🏻To cancer 😂
September 2023. I noticed blood in my stool. I ignored it. But it continued. Finally, By February of 2024. I decided to check in with a gastro doctor. He had me had a cat scan done, with a stool test. Everything came back OK. However. I still see blood and sometimes experiencing severe diarrhea. He sent me for a colonoscopy. Which I'm getting done this Friday. I'm very nervous. I'm afraid. I'm going to hear the "C" word. If I do. I may not make it home alive.
@@irmajean3542 Do you consider yourself a strong person? I can tell you, if you hear cancer yes it may knock you on your butt. You reach down inside yourself and find the strength to deal with it. If you have a good oncologist and oncology team like I do, you won't be alone in this. I've gone through cancer twice and I just had a pet scan, and visit with my oncologist, I am still cancer free. A good attitude, positive thinking, faith in God and a good support system at home will do you wonders. May God Bless you and walk you through this.
I have hemorrhoids since 6 years. I'm 56 now. Non smoking and non drinking person. I just keep watch I eat like more on fibers and taking supplements. I just trust my body to heal itself. I'm not afraid of dying. If its time, it's time. Not defeating the force of nature..
Im 66 and I was born with 14 hemorrhoids. They don't give me any trouble whatsoever unless I eat wrong. It's like a police force in my colon 😂. According to the doctor, I have the record for having the oldest hemorrhoids. Most people don't go past 5 years with them. I must say that their anger at the wrong foods have kept me very healthy.
Very helpful video. I wish I'd seen it 10 years ago when my cancerous tumor was probably just a little polyp. Get your colonoscopies, folks. They not only detect but prevent cancer and are very important to get. Doctors push mammos and pap smears all the time (to women, that is) but not so much colonoscopies.
I was diagnosed with Bowl Cancer on the 20th July. I had none of the common signs, but was already on B12 for tiredness. I went to my Doc complaining that the B12 was doing its job. He then asked all the usual questions to which my answer was no. He then asked for a stool sample which came back as showing traces of blood invisible to the naked eye. I then had a colonoscopy on the 20th July 24. It revealed a two inch diameter cancer. I’m having an operation on the 3rd Oct 24. All this might seem like a prolonged time scale. It’s 4:564:56 done under the NHS so no cost to myself at point of use. The NHS also run a preventative scheme where every year or so between the ages of I think it fifty to seventy five years old you receive a stool sample kit by post, which is returned by post the receiving of the test kits will be extended beyond seventy five years on request and again all free of charge at point of use. I live in Scotland, U.K.
1.Changes in bowel habits: This can include diarrhea, constipation, or a constant urge to have a bowel movement that isn’t relieved, possibly indicating a tumor obstructing the bowel. 2.Blood in the stool: Blood may appear as bright red or dark, tar-like stools, depending on where in the digestive tract the bleeding occurs. 3.Abdominal pain and cramping: Persistent abdominal discomfort or cramping may be due to a tumor blocking the bowel. 4.Unexplained anemia: Chronic blood loss can lead to anemia, resulting in fatigue and weakness. 5.Unexplained weight loss: Sudden weight loss without an apparent reason may be a sign of colon cancer.
I’ve started including more gut-nourishing foods like fiber-rich smoothies, probiotic yogurt, and fermented sauerkraut into my diet. Fiber helps maintain regular digestion, while probiotics in yogurt and sauerkraut promote healthy gut bacteria, which can be disrupted by cancer treatments. Fermented foods, in particular, are known for their ability to boost immunity and improve digestion. These dietary changes support colon health and overall well-being. My hope is that all those suffering from bowel cancer find healing through a combination of medical care and the power of proper nutrition.
If anyone is watching this and is bleeding please don’t worry… I was bleeding and after all my hospital investigations I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis.
Doctor please can you enlighten me about few things. My mother died from colon cancer in 2010. In 2018, I saw blood in my stool, had a colonscopy, doctors found just one polyp and removed it. I had another colonscopy in mid 2019 as a followup, everything was okay. I live in constant fear of developing colon cancer; can you please tell me what can I do to stay safe? What tests should I do regularly and how often etc?
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and your concerns. Given your family history and your own experience with a polyp, it's understandable that you're worried about colon cancer. Since you've had a polyp before, it's crucial to continue regular colonoscopies. Typically, if no polyps are found, the general recommendation is to have a colonoscopy every 7-10 years starting at age 50. However, with your family history and previous findings, your doctor might suggest more frequent screenings. It's important to follow their advice closely. it's important to understand that the development of colon cancer, particularly from polyps, typically takes several years. Most polyps are benign initially and only gradually develop into cancerous growths over time. In fact, the vast majority of polyps never actually become cancerous. Your proactive approach in getting regular colonoscopies and promptly addressing any abnormalities greatly reduces your risk. The fact that only one polyp was found during your initial colonoscopy in 2018 and that subsequent screenings have been clear is encouraging. It suggests that your vigilance and medical interventions are effective in catching and managing any potential issues early. I hope this helps.
Point blank not having colonoscopy, the virtual colonoscopy is an issue can't bring myself to drink the contrast, imagine being more scared of the diagnostic test than the actual diagnosis 😮
I’m having one in two weeks as much as I have the fear I’ll drink the sachets with water, don’t want to get there and they abandon the colonoscopy cause they can’t get clear pictures. I’m dreading it but I need to know what’s wrong with me.
At the age of 61, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I had surgery. They removed about 13 inches of my large intestine and a tumor so large a colonoscopy couldn't be done. I did chemotherapy once a week for 6 1/2 months. Once a week I sat in a chair for about 1 1/2 hours, then went home with a fanny pack, which had the chemo and was attached to a port in my chest. I am now 79 and am still in remission. When I was diagnosed, IT SCARED ME SO THAT I SWORE I WAS NOT GOING TO LET CANCER KILL ME. I was lucky.
It scared me reading your comment. I'm 61 and have never done a colonoscopy. I just scheduled my first. I'm so afraid to go . I don't know why!! But I will! I have a family that loves me and I want to stick around for them! My only daughter would be lost without me😢 I've been getting preventative tests done so I can stop with the worrying and anxiety all the time. I always think I have something wrong, cancer, or something! Oct 15th is the biggest day! Everyone tells me how easy it is, that the worst part is the prep, and that I'll feel silly for all this stress over it. 😂
@bdlimea7018 They are right you will feel a little silly afterwards for worrying so much. And you will be asleep thru the whole thing. I know this because I've had many done. I had surgery in 2022 for colon cancer I won't be considered in remission until I have went thru 5 years straight of colonoscopies and PET scans. 1 each every year plus the CT's with contrast. I turned 60 this year. I don't like but I have to deal with it or most likely die. Go have it done and trust me when I say that the worst thing that'll happen to you is your behind will be sore for a day from the prep. But you'll know for sure. ❤
@bevhart4604 Have you heard of the pills instead of the drink for the prep? They offered those to me so I took them. 12 at night with 32 oz water and another 12 in the am with 32 oz water.
Me like thyroid cancer but I have problem in my stomach .me scares about colon cancer is there or not . Pls reply me I have one doubt for my iodine therophy they did ctc scan my whole body if i have colon canser or stomach cancer it wil know ct scan if i have cancer it will detect or not
Colorectal cancer is the deadliest cancer for men under age 50 - and the second deadliest cancer among women in the same age group, behind breast cancer. The incidence of colon cancer has been rising for at least the last two decades, when it was the fourth-leading cause of cancer death for both men and women under 50. Colorectal cancer is typically deadlier in younger people. The key factors contributing to the rise in colorectal-cancer rates among younger people are obesity and health conditions related to carrying excess weight, such as high blood-sugar levels and diabetes. Has the incidence of colon cancer increased? Colorectal cancer rates have been rising in people younger than 50 over the last few decades. At the same time, cases and deaths from the cancer that was once thought to only affect older people is decreasing in people in their 60s and beyond. What is the new cause of colon cancer? A type of bacteria that causes dental plaque may be behind a treatment-resistant form of colorectal cancer, a study published Wednesday in the journal Nature found. The particular bacterium, which appears to shield tumor cells from cancer-fighting drugs, was found in 50% of the tumors tested in the study.
I am in the UK &my wife died of this cancer, my concern is with our surgery doctors, she attend our surgery in Glastonbury Somerset, after some visits the doctors said that it was good that she was losing weight!! this is infact a big sign that this is serious, but after no change , she was told to pack a bag & goto Yeovil hospital, the emergency doctor said she had food poisoning ! & said to wait for a scan ( which would have shown the cancer) but the scanners went home & she was forgotten! it then continued to cause pain & at last Taunton hospital found the cancer unfortunately TOO late. my point is think the worst & get the scan done !! don’t guess because my family has lost our wife & mother we were together 53 years 2 daughters & a grandson, extremely poor service from our Glastonbury surgery & Yeovil emergency with NO come back on either of these departments !!! dept. so we missher every day
I had stage 2 T3 colon cancer last year. My symptom was constant constipation. When I went to see my doc he arranged for a colonoscopy and found my cancer hiding between my cecum and my appendix. Went for a operation. Removed 8cm of my right vertical colon and 51 lymph nodes. Now this coming Aug 2024 will be going for a colonoscopy n CT scan to see if there is any relapse. Was told I need to it for 7 years and pray there is no relapse.
I was 48 got told on a Monday I had colon cancer the same week on Friday my large intestines blew I had died on the table they couldn’t finish surgery left me open like open heart surgery in icu put in induced coma two days later woke with an ostomy back no colon left then finally a reversal my daughters have to be tested at age 35 so being tested at 50 is stupid
Wait, did you literally die on the table? I'm 48, just did a colonoscopy, but they couldn't go all the way. Found polyp, and took other biopsies of the colon. Been sick and upper left side pain for over a year
Yes I died on the table they stopped the surgery I am cut from breast bone down they got me back moved me to icu put me in a coma and left me open and then days later they were able to go back to surgery, when I had my colon test I was awake they couldn’t go all the way because it was blocked by cancer please get another opinion
Please reply to my comment... I was passing a small sized stools like a small pieces instead of normal stool we used to see.. what should I do ? Is there a problem with Microbes??

I thought I had bowel cancer 12 years ago, it took several months and numerous vists to the see the GP before I was sent for a colonoscopy - guess what I had cancer! Luckily, it had not broken through the bowel wall.
My partial colon is removed due to colon cancer, actually it was sarcoma cancer, I don't know what would happen with me in future, I am too much afraid
Do you mean testicular carcinoma? My ex wife was certain I had it; a urologist agreed it could be. Had it removed. It was a cyst. I want it put back in! Sorry, it's medical waste. Still had two kids.
Absolutely agree! And younger individuals(20s&30s) have seen a MAJOR increase in recent years! And they’re never taken seriously and are often ignored until late. Freaking sad.
In the UK, they send the poo test every two years to everyone who's 50 and over. Any blood in the poo then you've to get a colonoscopy. I wouldn't leave it for 10 years. Have one every 5. Even if there is no blood. Tumours don't always bleed.
So it's like.....most other stuff. ANYTHING can be a sign. Cramping? Abdominal pain? diarrhea or constipation? Oh come on. This is quite sad actually. It's like when you have liver failure.....symptoms can include weight loss or weight gain

I had traces of blood when I was in my early 30s. So that's how I was able to get a colonoscopy. fast forward to now. I am 61 years old, and I have ulcerative colitis, but I am in remission. I get a colonoscopy every 3 years, and I have had polyps removed. I also have friends my age who have polyps removed that were pre cancerous.
Well as you know, or maybe you don't know ulcerative. Colitis is not curable, but you can stay in Remission. I think for the rest of your life. If you are Luckey. I was bleeding every day for a year. But what I did was basically change. My diet and exerci drink a 100 oz of water with Electrolytes every day. I quit eating red meat. I'll eat some salmon. I quit drinking alcohol completely. I eat. Tons of blueberries antioxidants also tumeric. Apple cider vinegar, I do take lyalda. Also known as Masalamine for my ulcerative colitis. I run in the morning and I surf when I get finished running. So there's my exercise and I eat lots of vegetables.

Been there at 44 yrs old in 2007 stage 3B cancer had chemo and radiation still alive, but radiation side effects are still a nitemare, had I been told the side effects by my Oncologist,I would have had chemo only, personally It wasn’t worth it, quality of life has been literally Sh****
Sorry you had to go thru hell. But guess what your body can heal. In order to improve your quality if life, please change your lifestyle habit like for instance cut out completely anything that is processed. Start consuming only home made foods. Sugar is a big NO. Also cut down carbs intake. Drink raw vegetables juice like carrot, cabbage, celery juice etc. And freshly pressed fruit juice like pomegranate, beetroot, apple etc .. Avoid any food that has a label, because that's where all the cancer culprits are hiding. The preservatives and addictives in packaged foods are nothing but sugar and salt and what not. Exercise daily , like go for a 30 mins brisk walk , sit in the sun (esp morning sun) at least for 10-15 mins daily, do not apply sunscreen, get 8 hours sleep and keep taking organic fruits and vegetables, a good high quality organic meat and fish. Take supplements like zinc, vitamin D3, magnesium etc. And take pure CPTG grade essential oils like Frankincense, Copaiba, turmeric etc .. i can guarantee you, you will be back in shape in no time.
Im curious what are the side effects of radiation? My husband (43) just had colon cancer surgery two weeks ago. And he is advised to do chemotherapy next month.
@@mrsmichaelzHello the side effect I have is the constant urge to go #2 it can last months for some and years for others,,I can’t go to dinner or a movie, as any food can trigger that and at times nothing will happen, just the urge, it’s been since 2007 and my quality of life is not good, Not to say your husband will have this side effect but ask the doctor what are the long term side effects

It could be just IBS which causes bloating. I think everyone should get a VIRTUAL COLONOSCOPY. My mom died with stage 4 colon cancer and yes she got her colonoscopies every 5 yrs but her tumor was up under her rib cage and could not be seen with a regular colonoscopy. She did have bloating, cramps and abdominal pain the yr before she started bleeding and was taken to ER. That is where they did virtual colonoscopy and saw it even had extended to her liver. She lived on 8 months. She was a big red meat eater, used tobacco but did ride her cardio fit machine daily and worked outdoors in her flowers. She was 71. The cancer went very quickly to her lungs and brain. I remember her loving lunch meat, bacon, sausage, hamburgers, roast beef. Be your own advocate. 🙏🙏🌺
They do endoscopy and colonoscopy here in the UK. Both upper and lower are checked. They found I had a tumour with the colonoscopy just a foot away from the anus. Maybe less. I'm still waiting on the pathology report from the biopsies. It's not a nice thing. I'm 52.
My wife is 54 and was also afraid. She gets extreme anxiety at doctor visits. Long story short, she got a colonoscopy and found out she had colon cancer. Now she is an absolute advocate for it. Had she waited or never gone the outcome would be more serious or even deadly. I'm not 50 yet but I am going to have it done early because of her experience and cases increasing for people under 50 years old.
@@TakeTheBluePill OMG so sorry you both went through this.i hate cancer.my mom had cancer back in 1984 them again in 2006 but she okay now.im so scared to go do this but now that you told me about your wife I will be thinking about maybe going to the doctor s . how's your wife now? Hope everything is okay.
I've had as many as 7 polyps removed and all benign and very small and last time about 4 years ago 3 were removed and none cancerous. Am I overdue for another colonoscopy? Also were they supposed to tell me that once a year I should do the stool sample test? They never told me I would need to do it every year. I remember doing it before but definitely not every year and I'm not sure if it was for detecting cancer or not. Given that history did my doctor fail to tell me I needed the stool sample test every year? I had many polyps removed in my stomach and the GI specialist said they were from taking omeprasol I took for about 10 years. Big pharma is so great at pumping out mega high budget commercials and give omeprasol a cute little friendly name, "the purple pill". The polyps weren't cancerous and no warning I had "multitudes" of them as a medical person said and they said similar when I asked in the operating room when they were wheeling me out. I was the one who led to the upper endoscopy. I also used to say I would for example be riding the city bus very tired and would nod forward falling asleep. I would jerk awake, but I swore it was more than just jerking awake that if felt like I was instead passing out, and even at times said a large black splotch in my vision would disappear in a flash too, but different than just having a normal jerking awake like we do. My doctor's nurse finally acknowledged it and called it myoclonis. It was never resolved until again I resolved it on my own after the GI specialist said stop taking omeprasol. So in time and now I've never had the instances of myoclonis and be careful you must be your own best advocate in the health care system. I went for a follow-up upper endoscopy a year later and all remaining polyps not surgically removed had shrunk very much so none had to be removed and this other GI specialist who did the procedure said I would not need any future upper endoscopies. I also had a colonoscopy at the same time and as never before that same doctor woke me up during the procedure. I think he thought I would not remember but I did. Like I'd never experienced before during a colonoscopy he woke me up at least twice asking me "are you feeling any pain?" and I said each time I was fine, feeling some pain but fine. Well... then in his report he said I had "looping" in my intestines. I'd never been awakened from a colonoscopy like that and had several before since I was about 50 yrs old and also never a report about "looping". Why would he wake me up asking about pain? Did he rush the colonoscopy and cause some kind of damage called looping? He also seemed not very caring but made a huge push for me to loose weight buy purchasing "Noom" the diet program. Do doctors get kickbacks for pushing Noom? I looked up Noom online and it is very expensive and especially for me on Social Security. After that I was bombarded by Noom ads on UA-cam for about 2 years. I'm glad I never got it and lost weight by carnivore diet and have kept off 40lbs for 1 1/2 yrs so far. Also I was pushed hard to get a gastric bypass and I know it has saved lives but in my case I'm glad I never elected to do it. Do they also push for that surgery and make more money?

I pray for you honey. ❤

It’s 4:56 4:56 done under the NHS so no cost to myself at point of use.
So how are you now?

5.Unexplained weight loss: Sudden weight loss without an apparent reason may be a sign of colon cancer.
how often do you see blood in the stool ??

You are definitely speaking to me
Doctor please can you enlighten me about few things.
Cruciferous vegetables

Avoid any food that has a label, because that's where all the cancer culprits are hiding. The preservatives and addictives in packaged foods are nothing but sugar and salt and what not. I'm 39 but I diagnosed with colon cancer.my symptom is blood in my stole.wan can I do.
Does advance colon cancer cause one’s abdominal area to be enlarged (looking fat on a thin person)???? I can’t get a dr to listen.
@@joyceanderson8648 Sorry for your loss.Prayers
They do endoscopy and colonoscopy here in the UK. Both upper and lower are checked. They found I had a tumour with the colonoscopy just a foot away from the anus. Maybe less. I'm still waiting on the pathology report from the biopsies. It's not a nice thing. I'm 52.
@@JasonTDolan Any update?
Very interesting 👌
Waiting on my FIT test results
Hi how did it go? I hope you got negative results. Did you have any symptoms? Just had my FIT
I've been having symptoms for about a year now but the doctors say I'm too young to be a cancer victim. I want answers, guys.
Get a new doctor
I'm 54 now but I can't go get this test I'm afraid

Okay I did that what is that
I've had as many as 7 polyps removed and all benign and very small and last time about 4 years ago 3 were removed and none cancerous.
May you be healed and blessed.
