That is what trials are for and whoa beyond to anyone who has gone through it and pass judgement on someone else who is going through it. It never, ever, ends well.

Just lost my daughter to colon cancer last week. She was only 23 when diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. She fought like hell but eventually the cancer took her from me when she was 28 years old. Such a horrible disease. I’m glad you did this video and hope more young folks seek medical treatment when these symptoms present themselves. Thank you for spreading awareness ❤

Words cannot express my sorrow for you. Early 20s is far too young for this, and yet it is more common. It sounds like your daughter fought so hard. My heart goes out to you, and I will pray for your peace of mind and spirit. She was lucky to have such a loving and caring parent. I hope many young people also heed the warning signs. We seem to be much more likely to dismiss “little things” when we are younger, figuring it is either normal, or that it will go away.

I don’t mind them putting stuff in food. I just have an issue with when you’re not allowed to know what’s in the food. How can you make an informed choice when even the labeling that people trust is untrustworthy? The governments job isn’t a control the choices, but it is to make sure we have choices and are not being lied to. Sadly it seems to be government that is making choices for us and they seem to do a horrendous job! Remember how they thought natural saturated fats were worse than trans fats and they subsidize chemically sprayed to harvest corn till it was in everything under a variety of names and several different levels of processing with commercials allowed that said, no human trial has proven when there had been no human trial? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Second hand smoke, air pollution due to industrial area, bugs and excretions and even molds... ... any toxins will hurt your sensitive colons. Things you have no idea or think it is COMMON are actually killing you. VOCs, for instance... ... These things don't kill you outright, you don't feel any thing as if UVC hit you and give you cancer you won't feel anything when UVC hits you, and people think it is so ok... ...
So your bro may not have smoked or drink alcohols... ... but toxic dusts, soil particles, bugs... ... including well known heavy metals will all kill you.
My neighborhood won't listen, and many already show signs of cancers.
But cancers are daily issues for ALL people, the reason why their bodies won't remove those cancers is simple... ... those fools insist on cancer lifestyle and exposures, and won't do anything about it. Or simply like your bro, has no idea why and what are killing. That's all.
Come to my neighborhood, you will see massive numbers of smokers with tummies, men with 6mth pregnacy not because they are fat. Remove the tummies, they are actually normal figure. Hee hee hee hee hee hee... ... And their poison spread to others who are also rebellious against me... ... so they are dying too. So many funerals... ... LOL~

Ma’am, you are wonderful. Thank you for sharing your story. I am 24 and have had 2 colonoscopies in the last 5 years and I’m about to get another soon. I’ve had bowel issues since I was a teenager and it was always brushed off as just dietary choices and being young. Then when I was 19, it was labeled as just IBS. Then when I was 20, I doubled over at work and started bleeding internally. Which I found out through having black bowel movements and not feeling like I could stand upright. It felt like I was ripping apart when I stood straight. It was labeled as once again-just bad IBS that caused some inflammation in my intestines causing tears. Now, I’m 24 and I’ve had multiple ER trips from doubling over in pain coming from my abdomen. I got referred to a gastroenterologist and they said it’s just a bout of bacterial colitis and can be fixed with antibiotics. That didn’t work. I haven’t had a normal bowel movement in almost a year. It’s just super, super soft small stools 3-10 times a day. Now I’m FINALLY done with the hamster wheel and I’m going to a whole new doctor. I’m going to ask them to do every test to figure out an actual answer, because I’m miserable. I’ve been tired for months. Sleep does nothing to help. I am foggy all the time and it affects my job. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired. Your video really just affirmed that I’m going to advocate for myself more and get this figured out. Thank you. You’re helping a lot of people and your story matters so much.

Might need to go to a holistic practioner Instagram of a traditional Dr, they're not trained to actually heal anything. These are some things that might help until you can get some answers, slippery elm, digestive enzymes, bile salts-tudca or ox bike pills, olive leaf and oregano/both will kill off bad bacterias, and other nasties internally, b1, black seed oil taken orally, and cayenne pepper can stop internal and external bleeding, and it can help heal internal ulcers. And warm water enemas to clear out colon fully at least once a week if you're only passing pebbles, you might could benefit from a colonic, obstructions in gut can sometimes cause the pebbled poop.

I hope you are doing better. I am 21 with your exact same problem. For the last year I haven’t had a normal bowel movement I’ve had soft stools and it never feels like my bowels completely empty. I’ve also had black stools and after pushing with the doctors I finally got a referral to a specialist which he then booked me in for a colonoscopy that I’ll be having in 3 weeks. Unfortunately when you are young it gives them another reason to dismiss our symptoms. Keep pushing and I hope you get the answers you need

I was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer three months ago, and it was my own unwillingness at first to talk about this kind of thing - wake up, Americans! We need to talk about our physical bodies and not be shamed into silence, or stuff like CANCER happens. Thank you so much for your story!

I had Colorectal Cancer, Stage 3, the symptoms were there, I was diagnosed with it when the bowel movements became difficult, they found a tumor, between the size of a tennis ball & Baseball. They did a " Hemi- Collectomy ", removing the Tumor & several feet of bowels, then re-connected the bowels. Prior to surgery my symptoms were frequent bowel movements movements that were sometimes difficult, but I went for an exam & they kept me & did the surgery the next day. I have been fine since then, & so grateful 🙏 to the Drs.

What were your symptoms? I'm having stomach upset, pain in lower right quadrant which is excessive gas in the bowel/colon. Feeling like I have to go to the bathroom alot, my stools were big and bulky that they would clog up the toilet, now they are smaller, when I'm on my period after I have a bowel movement and wipe back there, there's blood on the toilet paper but never when I'm not on my period, I get full fast, it feels like there's shards of glass up there, my butt is itchy top after a bowel movement. Sorry if it's tmi. I'm glad to hear your surgery went well.

I’m not a doctor but I felt I needed to mention this. You should maybe go get checked up on. If this has persisted past a few days, go see someone. You could have endometriosis. It’s very common. Doctors often have no idea and often brush it off so maybe see an OBGYN. My wife and I have been to countless appointments and she is going in for surgery. Please go get checked up. Could be gastritis, IBS or IBD. A doctor will be able to help so put your worries to rest and see a doctor. All the best

I did. At the time, 50 was the recommended age to start. I had one at 50 and it was all clear, no polyps. So my next one was at age 60 where a very small polyp was found. Turned out to be stage 1 rectal cancer. Thankfully surgery was the only treatment I needed, no chemo or radiation. I was so grateful I didn't procrastinate (and I have very good health insurance) about getting that colonoscopy because I had NO symptoms that would have otherwise sent me to the doctor. Years earlier, when my dad was 80, he was also diagnosed with stage 1 colon cancer. He is still with us at age 93, living independently.

You are the perfect example of early detection! Had I gone months earlier, I would have likely been the same, but my initial diagnosis ended up as Stage II. Within a year, a second spot appeared in an ovary. Also, your dad’s story is an inspiration! I hope your family is aware, so the younger generations know it runs in the family. Perhaps they can get tested earlier, to be sure. God bless you and your dad. Thank you for sharing your story. It is inspiring!

      And you weren't yet 50
I hope I didn't come across as being judgemental. I certainly would have responded the same as you with the earlier symptoms. They did genetic testing on me too and they don't believe it's genetic, just bad luck. My family is very aware and staying alert.

I know the symptoms... ... So I have removed most of them. The system has to be 'reversed' step by step.
Some may have watched news about sudden disappearance of stage 4 whatever cancers... ... naturally without doctors. There is a reason behind.
Just remember the body respond... ... it becomes like this because it responds to you, and it can become normal ok also because it responds to you... ... That's the key.

I have stage three colorectal cancer and am undergoing radiation & chemo right now. I’m only 37 years old. The tumor is in my rectum and about the size of a baseball. I am praying that the radiation kills the tumor as the surgeon says they have a good chance of not being able to reconnect during surgery due to how low it is. I was bleeding for years and ignored it. Then the pain started. The pain is excruciating, that’s what sent me to the Doctor.

However, bowel movements are a part of life, and I'm afraid too many of us are uncomfortable talking about it or don't want to be told to exercise more and eat a healthier diet. Or to quit smoking or drinking. No matter what it is, being healthy and alive is better than any perceived deprivation. Thank you for your kind comments. I've recently noticed changes in my bowel movements, including increased constipation, which I believe may be linked to my lifestyle changes. Since quitting smoking and reducing my exercise routine, I've experienced more frequent constipation. To address this, I've scheduled an examination to check for any serious issues, such as colon cancer, after detecting a small amount of blood in my stool-though it could simply be a result of severe constipation.
I'm 38 and want to take proactive steps towards better health. I’ve been committed to quitting smoking and drinking for over a year, and now I’m focusing on improving my exercise routine and overall wellness. My goal is to get back into regular exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle to support my well-being.

He was emergency flown to a hospital 3 hours away and had surgery. He had to have an ostomy bag for almost 6 months. He just had the reversal a few months ago and is doing ok so far. His symptoms were similar to the flu, and once he couldn't break his fever, we took him to the ER. He also had many of the same symptoms you were having but was dismissive about it also. I know most people dont like being whiny about health symptoms, but it's so vital to catch these things early, or they can be fatal! I appreciate you bringing awareness! ❤

My biological father had stage 4 colon cancer, overcame that, and then succumbed to esophageal cancer (he was an alcoholic). Although my doctors have always told me that I'd need frequent screening, no one ever went over possible symptoms that I should watch for.

    • @BigValleyLiving
      @BigValleyLiving  7 місяців тому +3

I am sorry about your bio father. It is hard, no matter what. I come from a big family on both sides. I hadn't been made aware of several relatives that uncles, and aunt, and even a first cousin, had succumbed to colon cancer until I sent messages to my scattered family about my diagnosis. It was heartening to know that I opened dialogue in my very own family. These symptoms aren't sure signs of this disease, but anything that changes is worth asking your medical team about. I'm hopeful that this will help you. Hugs to you and prayers for strength and maintaining a positive outlook.

Watching this as I took the last bottle of Sutab for my prep for my first colonoscopy appointment in the morning. (Can't sleep because I want to vomit and run to the bathroom) I have dealt with these symptoms for a long while and I just considered it my norm. I had to go to the ER months prior when I was diagnosed with Diverticulitis. I have had digestive issues for years. I'm 35 now. I always dreaded this appointment but it must be done and I have a family history of all this. Hoping that whatever was caught in the CAT scan is benign.

You are a WARRIOR queen! Thank you so much for sharing this info, and I saw in the description that it says you are in remission? That is amazing! I hope you continue to stay in remission and I wish you good health. You are an inspiration- I am 34 years old just diagnosed with arthritis at an unusually young age, so I cannot relate to having cancer, and I know that is NOTHING compared to the battle of cancer that you have faced. But having a chronic condition at a young age has been a struggle for myself, and my arthritis started as chronic pain when I was 17 years old, and I have been trying to change my diet to mainly plant-based to help my chronic pain and arthritis, and hoping to prevent any cancers as well, since cancer runs in my family. Thank you again for sharing your story, you are amazing.

Aww, thank you! I can’t imagine having a chronic condition in my 30s. YOU are an inspiration to other young people. Taking the whole food, plant-based approach is a great way to increase your chances to have a healthy body. I am currently in remission, and working my way back to more vigorous and regular exercise. If I would have had any clue that I would be alive after five years, I would have kicked my rear end off of the couch and exercised a whole lot more to build stamina. It is never too late to make new health changes, right? Prayers for you to feel well.

I don't know what country you are in but as you are young it is unlikely to be Osteoarthritis so if you have Rheumatoid Arthritis, that is an autoimmune disorder and I believe homeopathy (popular and easily accessible in the UK and Ireland) is helpful for autoimmune problems. It looks at the underlying cause of illnesses such as autoimmune disorders which normally have a genetic component but can also be triggered by life events and lifestyle, stress etc. I am not a doctor but am a former nurse and I have had my children treated successfully by a homeopath in London.

That sounds positively miserable. I was in your shoes, at the same age, for the most part. Please make an appointment with your primary and let them know what’s going on. Ask for a referral to a gastroenterologist ASAP. In my case, after taking my primary, he referred me to gastroenterologist and I had a quick consultation there. Within a couple of weeks I had my colonoscopy and within weeks of that, surgery. People think it took a long time, but it went by quickly. I had to do prepare to be out of work, have a house that could be maintained without great effort, etc.
Please let us know your outcome. Prayers to you for being aware and being brave.

I am 41, and I had a really tough time last year, so I started eating a lot more processed and junk food, especially salami as she said. I noticed my belly was bloated and I also started experiencing more diarrhea with strong odors. I completely changed my diet to include fruits, vegetables, greens juice, fresh eggs, and meat. My life has completely changed. I lost weight in my belly area, and my energy levels increased. Food is the most important factor if you want to be healthy.

I’m so sorry. It is definitely a shock, and no words will cover how we all feel. Be positive and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Ask if you can record office visits. We have found that listening a few hours (or the next day) following a doctor visit, we have been able to digest the information. Honestly, any doctor should let you record them for clear understanding. Good luck. Please keep us informed. Prayers to your brother and your whole family.

Thank you so much. I credit my parents for not hiding natural bodily processes unapologetically when I grew up. After seeing relatives and friends die as the years progressed, I felt the need to have open, if uncomfortable, conversations with family and friends. Why would we suffer in silence because of "embarrassing" conversations about what is really happening? No one who has lost a loved one will ever tell you that they were happy the loved one didn't feel comfortable talking about these things.

Thank you so much for sharing this video! I really appreciate you taking the time to talk about something. That’s not always comfortable to talk about! I would say at least 3/4 of my life I have had bowel issues! I think stress for me was one of the biggest contributors to me having chronic diarrhea! There were other factors too, but I have changed a lot of things about my lifestyle and got rid of the man that was in my life That caused me a lot of stress! Now I’m kind of on the other side of the fence where I am more constipated and feeling bloated and more tired. Watching this video has made me realize that I need to make an appointment to have a colonoscopy done again. It’s been a few years and I know that I shouldn’t put it off anymore. And I am definitely going to share this video with at least one of my friends that has bowel issues! I really really appreciate all that you did for this video!😊
