Crazy that these are the last months we have to go to this desperate of an extent just to play anything older than UMvC3. RPCS3 for the longest time was just my Marvel 2 emulator until Fighting Collection drops
Never heard of Fightcade before or something? There are literally thousands of people playing classic fighting games online with rollback netcode at any given moment on Fightcade. There are close to 10,000 people logged in on Fightcade total right now and about 250 potential opponents currently on just the MvC2 channel and just about 800 people currently on SFIII 3rd Strike. Really wouldn't say downloading a single program and setting up the JSON to auto-acquire the ROMs so you can play with thousands of ppl is really that "desperate" of an extent.
God I haven’t felt the tingle like that in a long time. That game gets you GOING. I miss this age of fighting games…

I'm proper nerding out here, but I always remember a slight delay when Cable says Hyper..... Viper Beam. He says it quite a bit faster in this version.

The quality and speed seems very crisp! That's the downside of having a ladder to MVC2 collection, there is like 50+ cool characters, but the real ones smokes the other a lot. It seems sooo tough to be good at this game compared to other FG.
Having a ranked system will give players a chance to have fun when fighting collection drops
Been seeing some people do interesting stuff with the characters. If you love the game you'll find a way I guess.
@@LordofChaosSet Hope so! Really looking forward to play it. Just the Sentinel movements in this is crazy to me. I used to play like at the arcade in the Disney weird arcade building and then bought a PS2 version of it. I think I am able to do magic series and understand that concept, but like I can't grasp the flying character movement.
@@sinisterrain2079 Hopefully when we get our hands on it the adjustment period wont be long. I still remember with mvc3 when I finally could tell all the crazy stuff happening on the screen. It'll be fun.

Yeah that adjustment period is crazy. I remember the first time I realized I could keep up with everything.

Fun Fact: the matchmaking does work, but as of right now not enough people play it for matching to really work. But, with the release of the collection coming up, whose to say if that even matters

Yeah haven't been this excited for a fighting game in a long while.
Played mvc2 when i was younger every now and then around the ages of 7-12, but at that point in life i didnt realise foghting games were a big thing, i mostly played street fighter.
Seeing high level play like this im like damn there's so much gojng on. But it looks hype loool out of all fighting games i feel like im the worst at tag fighters but videos like this make me want to try them out

Great game, I always liked seeing people pull infinites at the arcade where I use to go play at. Due to health problems I can no longer play it, until I can get proper movement on my right side. Thanks for this content, great emulator, I look forward to a review of the collection.

I'd like to thank Venomwenzel for volunteering to being J's training dummy for this foray back into online MvC2.
They only bad thing about MvC2 is the top tiers are so damn godlike that you only see a variation of the same ten characters (and mostly it's honestly really only five or six) on a roster of 56 in high level matches. It gets a bit dull to watch, especially when there is so many other cool characters. Back in the day my team was Guile, Gambit, Wolverine, and sometimes I'd sub out one for Strider as he and Wolverine were my team back in MvC 1. I doubt it, but I hope that the upcoming MvC collection has a point ratio system lobby not too dissimilar from Justin's 7 point system.
Team synergy can definitely still help. I'd love to see some mid tier teams get fresh wins because people will experiment again. I personally don't really even feel comfortable with the top tiers anyways either.
Naming this "Justin Wong plays Magneto" would probably get you more clicks without being clickbait xD

wish they did a vs remastered if we couldn’t get mvc4 or my wet dream just “versus” which would allow marvel, capcom, snk, arksys, etc. would be dope to have an updated mvc2 with the point system implemented or something to keep it fresh tournament wise.
I would really love to see someone combo Shuma's lvl 3 into Jin's Typhoon super. Send em down then back up, or the other way around. I'm sure it'd be impractical but funny to see.
Well time to turn the DC on to start de-rusting somehow. I hope to catch you online when the collection drops. I pray the rollback is better than the ps3 and 360 versions and doesn't come with weird frame acceleration or Unblockable AHVB like it did at launch.

Yo Justin, now that you've got RPCS3 going, why not boot up Vanilla Marvel 3 and showcase how busted the DHC Glitch was. Imagine how much damage you could do with Storm's Elemental Rage Super then DHC into Wolverine's Berserker Charge to reset the damage
