the training program of Joe Frazier would be awesome. A lot of people around him said he had an insane training volume, especially his road work. But online the information is quite random for a boxer back then
That man trains the entire fucking year
Lol is he supposed to take a break ??
@@adrian7217 most boxers do, yes. It's common place for boxers to only train for 6-12 weeks before a fight, and that's it.
It doesn't make sense to me. I get only sparring for that length of time, but I think it's insane that most fighters don't even run during the off season.
@@mr.doctorcaptain1124 that’s what separates him from the rest of the pack. Kobe, MJ, Tiger Woods, Tom Brady. These typa people ain’t restin much unless they’re injured, esp at their prime
@@mr.doctorcaptain1124 I've always wondered why people praise athletes for doing things that they themselves can learn fairly easily. You saying that fighters actually don't train constantly makes this make sense. As someone who enjoys the pain of exercise, I've never fully comprehended just how unathletic those types of people are. If I'm not in the gym training year round, I'll still be studying and practicing at home. The fact that commoners don't do this, I'm not sure whether to feel pity or anger.
@@mr.doctorcaptain1124 lol youre talking absolute bullshit. A common boxing phrase is "its the three months before the three months" meaning its the work before the camp that counts. The 6-12 weeks youre referring to is the fight camp to get in the best possible shape for a fight and to adapt to an opponents style. The rest of the year they still train and work on their boxing skills, because you can never be perfect. To think that they only train during camps is stupid
Canelo has morphed into the perfect fighting machine.
I like this comment
I still think usyk and loma have better skills IMO.
@@1supersayian 2 other guys who were bred to fight
Perfect boxing machine. Same with Loma and Usyk. Not quite fighters though, but boxing is better.
Until it comes to Mayweather 💪
nowaday even on rest days he is competing playing golf lol, his consistency is just on another level, its just different type of people man.
And golf actually helping boxing, great shoulder work, calmness, concentration and balance.
I’m on same level
@@Loxley98 what about fishing, playing darts as well
The reason he can keep up is people around him imagine he doesn’t have no one helping him money is everything money buys you sets of hands that make a man great
And learning English while being a kickass family man
Im training for my first sanctioned amateur fight, and these videos are straight up therapeutic. Watching the amount of training and work these champions put in is exactly what I need right now
Good luck bro
get the win brother
Train a lot man, and do a lot of cardio and sparring, i lost my first 3 amateur fights in a row because i didnt train enough
Glad to hear this helped Tom. Train hard and get the win!
Update: Got the W guys🤙🏽
Jesus Christ this man trains 9 whole hours a week just sparring, no wonder he's unbeatable
Unbeatable? Lost to mayweather once, should have lost to both GGG and Lara
@@blackjack-ks8zn he’s still one of the best doing it
@@blackjack-ks8zn 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡
Lara ran all night, even got cut. GGG used only his pussy jab. And Mayweather did beat him i must say
@@a.h.543 he didn't even touch Mayweather. He changed his style up after that. He's grown a ton since that fight. He wasn't in his prime yet.
@@blackjack-ks8zn nope not Lara but I agree with the first ggg fight
Was born to fight he is the most complete fighter and he still learning cheers champ
Most complete BOXER a Complete Fighter Has Striking Wrestling Grappling etc
@@BME369 XD
@@BME369 idk why u felt the need to comment that but ok.. he’s obviously not talking about wrestling he’s talking about boxing
@@BME369 hes the most complete fighter. Read between the lines.
Say complete boxer if you want but not complete fighter he would ge knocked out against an amateur Muay Thai fighter
It goes to show that hardwork really pays off
Would be mad cool to lift weights / train in the same room as Canelo. Energy must be insane
Probably not. He’s probably just very busy and serious and trying to get his work done most of the time.
@@droppa57kgx24 nah, his immense aura would intimidate everyone and shit would be flying off the walls. Trust me I’ve been there 😔
@@Chinpou_ sure kid.
@@droppa57kgx24 you’ve never seen someone train like they actually want too
lift weights make you slow thats why boxers dont do that too much
I agree, It is satisfying watching Canelo punch something. The sound, the trunk turning, the whole body put behind EVERY punch. It quite addictive 😂now that I'm thinking about it.
I like how some of his opponents say stuff like, "canelo has never fought a guy like me."
But it's more like they've never fought a guy like him!
Canelos style shows some mike tyson elements
He has gotten so good over the years...and honestly, I feel as though he still is not done peaking!!
I just discovered your chanel and its awesome
Love every single video
Hope you get to grow A LOT more in the furure
Dont give up
Thanks Jose! Means a lot, will get there one day! 👊
Canelo is an absolute fighting machine period!!!
This is an absolute gem 💎 of a video. Why this doesn’t have a million likes is beyond me, but tremendous job putting this together 💪🏻
Much appreciated!
@@BoxingLife Well deserved 💯
Hard work and dedication is a virtue that
every person should have in every day life.

Outstanding video!! Canelo’s training routine has been impressive from the start for sure… Would you be able to make an updated video to show his current training regime? Your highlights are excellent! Thank you… Cheers
10:38 GGG did change his style, he adopted a more jab centric approach in the second fight.
That was a pre fight tactical statement
I like triple g but the man needs to go for the body more
I’ve always been a fan of the Ukrainian style of boxing but the Mexican boxing scene is becoming a favourite, canelo is like a mix of both great ring IQ and the heart to go toe to toe with an opponent he will go down in the history books for sure
Ukrainian and Mexican style are my favorite broo

You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup....Now water can flow or it can crash."
Love what you are doing bi man so keep up the good work 👏 and look forward for the next one,and look after yourself
Great video. Canelo is my favorite boxer... I take alot of his style and implement it into my training. He's so good it's crazy.
Wow, great job, great video! Thanks boxing life 🥊

Great video jimmy 😊👊
canelo be sparring rn , nigga is working hard gotta respect it even if you hate him
Definitely you can’t hate on canelo if you do your just a hater 💯💯
Haters gonna hate regardless…
This vid is so dope! thank you for the information
Man, it's one of the best videos I've seen since watching Canelo, I honestly don't think it's 100% accurate, but it's normal because Saul changes his training a lot depending on his opponent. you are strong, thank you
Amazing video brother
Canelo the most complete fighter of the last 20 years.
Absolutely right
What about Manny or Floyd
What about GSP. He would maul Canelo.

Thanks! It would be wrong if I didn’t! Will definitely one day!
Great content keep it up!
I have been a huge fan of fighting in general and i appreciate these fighters who push me to pursue my fighting passion
New to the sport of boxing, I have been watching boxing for a little bit but started doing training with a local gym In my city around a year ago, Didn't start sparring for 2 month's It was just getting thing's down on the bag and in pad's for 2 month's had my first boxing match 7 week's ago and had my 2nd boxing match last week, I can proudly say I am 2-0 and also Canelo Is the best boxer In the world right now, I think he has earned his spot as a top 10 boxer In history.
remember this schedule and routine works well for canelo doesn't mean you have to follow it if you're looking into boxing every boxer trains at their pace like mayweather trained all times of the day and night while other will train at 10 or 11am or at nights it just depends on your body, when you wake up, and how you feel, you don't want a sluggish workout so get your sleep in and make sure you hydrate and eat something light. me personally i hate double workouts so i'll do my workout all at once i'll box from 11:30-2:00 and then i'll do my strength training until 3 including abs and excluding legs then i'll go run 4-5 miles depending how i'm feeling and then after i'll do my legs bc doing it before drains my run so like lunges and squats all my strength training is body weight except when it comes to the kettle bell or medicine ball, then i'll take a warm bath with epsom salt or i'll take an ice bath depending on the day. recovery is important to be able to do all that the next day again, like rolling out your legs, stretching, ice baths, nutrition, water, sleep, all plays a major key. your health matters bc frankly you can get sick by doing all this work take it slow and build yourself up boxing is a race but it's more of a turtle race than anything, take your time to learn and build confidence and strength and conditioning, and also most importantly i found that through the hard difficult training the best thing is to learn to have fun with it enjoy yourself when training smile through it,
Well said bro definitely a lot of wisdom in this message
Fax dude I’m sick of hearing people say you have to be up at 5am or something ridiculous like that to be successful
Your videos are awesome man. They inspire me to hit the gym! These guys are unreal on how they train.
Great to hear! One of the main reasons I make them!
@@BoxingLife please continue man !
Thanks for putting this together.
No worries! Hope you enjoyed!
Great stuff. I like his style and won't train any other way than he does because of his amazing skill.
Very interesting video and well covered. You reinforce dedication and time spent training, rehearsing and perfecting a skill which pays off. This is true not just for boxing. The Beatles played hundreds of gigs even before they became famous. Not sure if born with natural ability or dedicated training is the most important but I suppose they both play a part and this is a good debating point. I guess there are thousands of people who may have made it but but didn’t due to lacking the dedication of this boxer. Lesson, if you want to succeed, then it down to the individual. Nothing comes free.
To hit like he does…holy cow. The best technical fighter I’ve ever seen. Incredible discipline with his art of boxing.
Awesome video. Well done
Appreciate it very much, thank you

The only way to beat Canelo is by doing everything he does but better, in his prime at this point there’s nobody, there may be 2 or 3 guys that could beat him but have not reached his level yet, maybe in a few years maybe not.

Why do most of these pros not swim as part of their training regimen? Swimming utlizes all muscles of the body. It also provides great resistance.
Uncle Le😎
Damn I train more than Canelo according to this, I have strength + conditioning in the morning for an hour everyday courtesy of the military and then I go straight to the boxing gym for 2 hours, then at night i go for another 2 hours, plus I have 3 lifting days a week (PPL) which take on average about 1.5 hours. I don't have a rest day but I don't box on saturday at all, just lift. Is it draining? Yes.

I always liked Miguel cotto though he is retired, I would love to see you do something on him, like this video. Training, style, etc I don't see much on the breakdown of cotto though he is a legend and his style is very similar to my style, I film studied lots of his fights and through the film studies he became a fighter that grew on me and he is one of my favorites. But it all started out from someone with a close style to mine to study from. But I just studied his actual fights. He is an awesome fighter to break down and learn from for boxers such as myself to learn from. I'm always looking to learn and evolve my boxing. I just found this video and I will be a loyal subscriber. I truly believe lots of people can learn from a breakdown of cottos training and style. It's just a suggestion. Thank you for this video I appreciate seeing stuff like this. Thank you and subscribed!!!!
