The cowling machine guns were manually cocked for firing. ( Zero ) Wing root cannons or cowl guns selected by a left hand lever very much like a motorcycle clutch lever arrangement and trigger mechanism. Cowl guns must interrupt to avoid propeller. Early Zeroes and Honor Prosperity Nakajima Sakae had collected exhaust with two ejection stubs just forward of wheel wells. A beautiful model scene here.
