Great video , my dad was born in Donegal ..Quigleys Point on the inishowen peninsular ..we now live here ..we are so lucky to live in a such a beautiful place thanks for highlighting it … I was born in London to two Irish parents mum from Dublin…my husband from Aberdeen with Irish grandparents…living the dream .. Only just came across your channel so obviously we’ve subscribed…
I'm really pleased you got to see (and included) Dog's Bay/Gurteen Bay they are both in my favourite part of the world. When you first notice Dog's Bay from the height of the road above looking down it is breath-taking but as beautiful as it is to look at, to walk Gurteen bay is a pure joy. Also on that Tombolo at the end of Dog's bay/Gurteen bay is Puppies cove (so beautiful) but right at the top of that Tombolo is another beach which very few people know is there. It is spectacular. Every time we have been on it the sand has been different. Then up the road off Ballyconneely you have Bunowen bay, Bunowen Beg, Alabrack beach and (my wife's favourite place on the planet) Mannin Bay. The way Mannin bay changes as the tide disappears towards the horizon and then comes a-wandering back in...magic! It is just so peaceful and so beautiful. A feast for the eyes and your spirit.
We are visiting Ireland the last week of September for the 1st time. Doing a road trip & have been watching the videos. We will be at Achill Island for 1 day - can you please recommend top 3 places to spend time?
Hi which way world you recommended to travel on WAW - clockwise or anticlock wise ? Aiming to travel to Belfast due to travelling with dogs without EU passport.

Personally I’d suggest anti clockwise / south to north as you’ll have the sea directly to your left the whole way giving slightly better views 😄
@@robbieroams That's clockwise 😊
O’Hairs Donegal looks like it has closed down
