The manufacturers need to be correcting that problem

This video contains some useful information but a safe charger won't try to charge a cell if the voltage is too low. As I understand it when the cell is discharged too far the copper substrate holding the active material dissolves in the electrolyte. When the cell is recharged the copper does not plate evenly and can form dendrites that eventually short the cell. The Craftsman charger should refuse to charge a pack where one or more cells is below a certain threshold [maybe 3.0 volts or so]. Under no circumstances should the cell be recharged if the voltage drops below the minimum voltage as specified by the cell manufacturer. If a low voltage cell's voltage is raised enough to fool the charger the cell can vent or even explode at any time after that.

Some people like me I didnt know you have to make sure when at the jobsite make sure you plug in to a 120 volts plug not a 220 volts it will mess it up I did that to alot of my chargers and battery people plug in to a 120 volt plug at the jobsite.😀

If your 120 charger can plug into a 220 volt receptacle then I would be checking all outlets. Somebody does not know some basic wiring.
