How would I go about adding something like this? Lunar Dust Action You can scatter a burst of magical dust from your wings in a 10-foot radius. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest. Blinding Effect: Choose up to 3 creatures within the radius. Each must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + Wisdom modifier) or become blinded until the end of their next turn. Healing Effect: Alternatively, choose up to 3 creatures within the radius to heal. Each regains hit points equal to your level + Wisdom modifier. Main issue is getting them to use the same resource pool
Been a while since you posted this so I can only hope you see this. I am trying to get the species to start out with a higher DEX than is typical (19). This way a new player in our group can take over what was an NPC in a more fluid way. We've been using a human template and physical dice and the web cam showing his rolls for now. Hopefully there is a way?
how would one add a modifier for a high jump and long jump? I've tried looking in motidifers in the set menu, but that's mainly for speeds. where can I find one for jumps?
i need help adding these 4 racial traits, what should i do? Wide Ears. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks using your sense of hearing. Immunity. You are immune to diseases and the poisoned condition. You are also resistant to poison damage. Warriors. You are proficient in two weapons of your choice. Additionally, you are proficient in the Athletics skill. Magic Aversion. When you cast a spell of 1st-level or higher, you must make a Wisdom saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + the spell level. On success, nothing happens. On a a failed save, you are struck with short term madness.
Ah I see all you would need to do, is as I showed in the video is set the racial trait like normal, then go to modifiers and set it as prociency- choose a skill. That way you'd be able to choose a skill and just do that modifier again to select more than one.
So you would do a modifier -> Bonus -> Strength Score and put 4 in fixed value. Then do another again same thing but for intelligence score and put 2 in the fixed value
I haven’t watched the full video yet, so maybe It’ll show up later, but how do you make it so certain things only appear after you reach certain levels? 🧐 I see the ‘acquired level and level where it’s known’ but that hasn’t worked for me?
So if I wanted to assign one of the traits for a later level it would be level where it is knowing. E.G I want to give it Relentless at level 3 so I'd go normal steps then in level where it's known I'd put 3, if you get stuck try finding another race that has certain abilities known at certain levels e.g Aasimar and have a look how it's set up there
So you need to hit add racial traits to put the details in, hit save after that's done the page will reload, then when you scroll down you'll see the option to add a modifier. Hope that helps
Okay all you need to do is go to the extras page if your character sheet -> add extras -> pick misc from the drop down -> then you can just search for werebear and add it
Thank you so much, this is really handy since I'm creating an entire character of homebrew from my campaign!
That's alright glad it was helpful
this is the most comprehensive homebrew guide ive seen, i just wish you had these for other homebrew stuff too like subclasses.
I'm glad you like it, I don't know why I haven't done the others, I'll get on that so look for that in the future 😊
@PhiliostheDM I will

That is all fairly easy to do if you are okay with it I'll, upload a short on it in a bit to go through those traits specifically
@@PhiliostheDM hell yeah man, thank you so much!
Ended up being too big for a short but here you go hope it helps ua-cam.com/video/VJQUhNTkhzY/v-deo.html
Thanks for this. But Please check you audio levels when adding music, you nearly blasted me out of my chair.
im trynna make a race where you can choose 2/4 proficiencies, how do you do it
What type of prociency as each are a little different to set up

ive been struggling with subraces. when i create them and try to add racial traits nothing happens i was wondering if i could get some help on that.
My most recent video I have done revolves around creating a race with subraces maybe that will help 😊
So I am making a Awakened T-Rex and wanted to do plus 4 to strength and plus 2 to intelligence how would I do that?
So you would do a modifier -> Bonus -> Strength Score and put 4 in fixed value. Then do another again same thing but for intelligence score and put 2 in the fixed value

How do I add werebear to my aasimar on dnd beyond?
Is this a custom stat sheet for the werebear or standard DND one?
@@PhiliostheDM standard one I think
Okay all you need to do is go to the extras page if your character sheet -> add extras -> pick misc from the drop down -> then you can just search for werebear and add it
@@PhiliostheDM thank you
What if you wanted to add spells?
Do you want to add a specific spell or be able to choose?
