For CH B4, doing b2, 4, 3 (for wall carry) can guarantee a db1,4 instead of the usual db4, 3 by itself (can also work with 2,1,2 for screw/tailspin). The B2 itself will whiff, but it makes Asuka more "closer" to the opponent, making db 1,4 hit for a full combo.
Only the ff1+2 at 6:16 (not rising up against the wall anymore) and f3+4 at 6:40 (the move was happening at the same time as the wall burst animation before) are not working now. The total damage for a lot of the combos did get reduced.
I feel like Naniwa Gusto kinda sucks compared to the other heat stuff characters get. The mishimas always get EWGFs, Lee gets constant perfect attacks, Bryan gets unlimited access to his install moves, etc. Asuka basically has the same thing as Bryan, but she gets like 2 moves that give her very basic combo extenders just like the other characters’ NORMAL moves.
But yeah I feel you. Ryzing Sol really should start editing in combo descriptions to help explain the combo and break it down instead of just showing inputs tbh
You have to press FF and hold it for a bit so that you travel a little further foward before you actually press the 4, the same goes for the ff,2,3 part. It is very annoying to go for, I often use B4,2,3 as well lol

The combo in 4:00 deals 110 damage because the first hit is a Counter Hit (this guy probably went to the practice settings and made the first hit of the combos become counter hit). I just did the combo with no counter and it's actually 90 damage. What a cheap bait man.
You should be inputting this move while the ff4 connects. Alternatively you can wait for the opponent to bounce on the ground then do it. If you still can’t seem to get it do note that only adds like 3 extra damage and you just as easily remove this from the combo and just do the ff1,1+2 instead
Are you referring to the while running move? If so there’s is a LARGE amount of leniency in how early you can input this. Try inputting this while asuka is still attacking AND REMEMBER TO HOLD THE FINAL FORWARD INPUT OR YOU RISK THE GAME NOT REGISTERING IT AS RUNNING

The trick is the very very subtle but small quick dash forward; its not a complete f f, its like a half f-f cancel into 1+4. tricky but that seems to have helped me try to hit 1+4 SHORTLY after you dash forward, not immediately or it'll be too soon or too fast lol watch how he does it
I've just given up on that move. It's not even good. It's slow, linear and any situation where I wanna low crush I'm just gonna use cancan instead. Any situation where I could use it to whiff punish, F2 is faster and does more damage. If anyone else is reading this don't bother learning that combo. The move is pretty much useless.

If you mean naniwa gusto it's just an "install". Works just like snake eyes with Bryan in that it's best used in combos as shown. Only gives her 3 move changes if I'm not mistaken, though

I feel like im the only one who hates every single last thing they did with asuka in T8 except her heat mechanic.
On B4 counter hit if you do B2,DB4,3 then DB1,4 it does more damage and wall carries more.

asuka is always my introduction to new tekken games, there's just something about her style that makes me wanna pick her up first
Couple things, most launchers can get an extra ff4 input for more damage, those that can't (bar uf4) can get a standing 4 for some more damage.
You can also do ff4 ff23 df3 f2 for 3 more damage on the low parry

for the final combo, I just can't seem to pick them up off the ground after the f,1+2 to heat dash, db, 4, 3. They always stay grounded.
