Very nice demo, thanks.
Heyyy keep posting ! this review makes me want more !! XD
I wanted the Iron Horse to beat the RAT because I'm starting to gather some Walrus pedals.. it's definitely clean and pretty versatile but I don't hear that RAT sizzle that I like.
Wow, the Iron Horse in the uncompressed mode is awesome.
I am so torn. I have a Rat and love the tone that I get when running bass synths through it, its just too noisy. Now the question is do I want the higher end harmonics of the Woodcutter or the chunkier sound of the Iron Horse?? I want my bass synths/acid boxes to scream and growl [the Rat gives me this but the added noise is not acceptable to me), which is why I am leaning Woodcutter. Any thoughts? I wish shops in my area carried these things so I would have to guess! UGh.
I'd like to hear also the EHX Flatiron Fuzz there…
This is a modern/chinese RAT2 w/o a LM308, yeah?
This is actually a fantastic idea and really well executed. Tone is so subjective and I think it really comes down the individual ear to decide which is best. My vote goes to the Iron horse because it is, IMO, the most versatile 😁🤘
I'm not sure how you do it. Top notch gear demos. Sweetwater thinks they do good vids. They're ok, but not like this. Mindblowing.
Wow, thanks! That's high praise.
Woodcutter for me
RAT - vintage organic
Rat 🐀 gets the nod!
Can you test the 1981 drv with these guys! Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll consider testing this one for our guide (linked in the description)
Equipboard nice! Thank you!
Overrated and overpriced. Just my opinion tho.
@@beatlejuice5951 yeah definitely 😂. Its hype at first but then you realize there are way better options.
@@abrahamkinard803 the fuzzrocious rat king pedal is pretty sweet, I bought myself one and fell in love. Highly recommend it man.
Iron Horse sounds like a mountain crumbling down...
Wtf iron horse is the bull 😍😍😍
Woodcutter ftw
The Woodcutter has rich harmonics, more like my 80's ProCo Rat. That being said, even the Rat 2 is hard to beat. If it's sheer "Rattiness" you're after, kinda hard to beat a ProCo Rat!
Nice equipboard, just steal Pedalbored's format...
It's a shame you cannot add new artists on your site, instead you get error.
Looks like we accidentally introduced an error yesterday. Should be fixed now!
IRON HORSE IS BETTER IN LIVE CONCERT , COZ" IT'S HUGE SOUND ,.ANYWAY THANKS MAN,
Lol the fuck were you even trying to say?
You've never played in a full band, right?
The Rat wins
What is the rationale for demoing pedals through a Yamaha THR10? I had one once-great little practice amp-but that’s not going to be a good representation of users’ experiences.
What representation do you want from your pc speakers or phone speakers? You need to feel the experience of a 4x12 cab through your speakers? 🙄
yea he should travel to each person's house and play it for them personally otherwise why bother
warlus very bad pedal ...
I disagree. I think it's absolutely amazing and very versatile. Very huge, powerful, unique sound.
You should try playing it in person. I personally dont like use a distortion pedal but the iron horse is the only distortion that's ever made me reconsider that.
