I love this video. I used to make jewelry all the time in high school and have recently gotten back into it. You give a love of great educational tips with this! Since my main job is actually working with birds of prey (I founded and run a nonprofit bird of prey outreach and have five owls currently), I just felt compelled to give you a little educational info on owls, so you know for the future. 😊 The feathers that stick up on owls are called “tufts” and they use them as a way to communicate to each other. There are also over 200 species of owls in the world, but not all of them have tufts. The most common that people think of (at least in the U.S. and that has been pictured for generations in the media, cartoons, etc) is the Great-Horned owl, which has tufts. But another very common one is the Barn owl with the heart-shaped face and they do not have tufts, but rather just a round top to their head feathers. I actually have a barn owl in flight as my profile picture. Again, I really liked your video. It was super easy to follow and thank you for providing such an easy way to make a very cute wire owl piece. And, you definitely need to have the “tufts” on more artistic pieces like this for people to be able to recognize it’s an owl.😉
I spend time on Pinterest also but I don’t like it when I see something I like and can’t get help because I would like to make that piece for myself. So sometimes I feel that this app is not for me. Help Sara!
So cute!!!
So cute!!! LOVE this project!!!
Love owls. This is so fun! I can't wait to make some. I would be a great medium piece on a sales table at a reasonable price. Love it!
Hadn’t read the heading but thought that looks like an owl so you certainly did it😱👍💜
