One More Way To Bind Quiet Book Page Edges Tutorial

In my previous video I shared the binding method I currently use for finishing Quiet Book Page Edges. And today I would like to show you one more binding method. I have used it when I first started making Quiet Books, it works great as well. You can just compare and decide which one is best for you, as for me, I love them both :)

I’ve been enjoying watching your videos. I’m curious if you use a Cricut or some other similar machine to cut any of your shapes? I noticed in your Etsy store, your patterns include an SVG file. I think that indicates it can be used with a Cricut. I’ve been wanting to buy a Cricut….. LOL

Спасибо вам за видео. У меня такая проблема: когда пришиваю бейку (прямая строчка), уголки на обратной стороне заламываются. Они идут против хода машины, может из-за этого. Может сталкивались с таким?
Александра Чабан здравствуйте, Александра! Я понимаю о чем вы говорите, но подобного у меня не происходит. Когда я подготавливаю, подгибаю и прикалываю бейку клипсами или скрепками, я хорошо все разглаживаю, прям ногтем провожу по сделанному подгибу, а также и по уголкам, после чего все надежно фиксируется и не заламывается. И как вы смогли заметить, я прошиваю строчкой зигзаг, может быть в этом ещё дело. Прямой строчкой я никогда и не пробовала делать отстрочку.

Serious question because I’m sure I’m missing something. Why can’t we use bias tape?
Hi! Sure, you can buy and use the already finished bias tape if you like. As for me, I prefer to prepare bias myself, in this case I can customise the bias width. My favourite binding method is a double fold binding, for this method I need a bias of 6 cm wide. Also a fabric I use for a bias can be used for a drawstring bag for my project, in this case my project is made in the same style and motif.
