Using the CJ7 to pull up a stump

My 81 CJ7 had no problem pulling up this old rotted stump.

Except the root is still in the ground

Yea, it had a lot more rot than I expected. The root was also very rotten, so it dug up easy.

Great idea but found it amusing that it broke off almost flush and all that digging didn't need to be done. I guess it's Murphy's law at work!

I used a strap to pull a stump once...the stump bounced off my tailgate and broke the rear window
