Pinnacle Station Garage
Приєднався 5 бер 2014
Watch me do a little of everything. I have a collection of antique autos, mostly Jeeps and Fords. But, I like all kinds! I live in the beautiful area of Central Arkansas below Pinnacle Mountain. The area that I live in used to be popular for logging and mining and in 1901 was once named Pinnacle Station and had a sawmill close to the railroad track. That is where I came up with my UA-cam name.
I have never seen a Jeep CJ7 Hardtop like this before!! Side Windows are Removable.
I bought this top a few years ago, had it in storage, and decided to use it on this jeep. I have never seen a top like this before on a CJ7. I have seen the molded plastic top with the metal doors and I have seen a fiberglass top with fiberglass door. I know the CJ5 had a Meyers top that looked similar to this. I also had a CJ5 that had a hardtop that had swing out side windows.

Just bought !! 1980 CJ7 with an "Iron Duke" engine
Переглядів 46421 день тому
I picked this up today. It is a 1980 Jeep CJ7 with a 4 cylinder Pontiac engine (original, also came in the Pontiac Fiero) and SR4 4 speed transmission. It is a very solid jeep with little rust, just needs EVERYTHING else. It came with an 8000 lb Warn winch, bikini top and hard doors. No other top. The seats are out of an early 70's Bronco. It does run, but not very good. It has 31 inch tires. I...
Crescent Hotel Penthouse in Eureka Springs, Arkansas

We stayed in the north penthouse at the Crescent Hotel. It was a very nice room high above the town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It is located on the fifth floor of the hotel, room 502. The staff told us this was where Doctor Norman Baker spent a lot of his time. It may have been his bedroom.
Jeep CJ run to Rattlesnake Ridge

It was a nice day to take the CJ out with the top off. I went out to Rattlesnake Ridge in Central Arkansas and filmed the trip back. You can see Pinnacle Mountain in the background.

This is a Mustang I bought a few years ago from Harris Brake and restored. It was originally a 260 engine F code, but at some time was replaced with a 289. Also has an automatic transmission.

1982 Jeep CJ7 Driven For First Time In Many Years
Переглядів 1735 місяців тому
This is my first time to drive the CJ since I bought it last year. I had to rebuild the engine and run a fuel line with a new tank. . It ran good and the transmission shifts well. Still a lot of work to do.

The car runs and drives! I drove the car around the block for the first time. It runs and drives great. Most of the car has been put back together. It still needs a few minor things to get it road worthy.
Jeep CJ7 258 Engine on my Homemade Test Stand Part 2
Переглядів 1176 місяців тому
I hooked up the radiator and ran the engine for about 30 minutes. It ran great. There was some rattling noise in the head. I took the valve cover off and there was a lot of play in the rockers. It may be the result of wear in the the push rods, rocker arms and rocker arm bridge.

Cool! I would like to see the top!
I have the same top. Missing doors. Very well built design
Looks like some we got from JC Whitney and Sears Rowbuck in the 70’s
Sweet CJ7! Looks like an early aftermarket cj7 hardtop, maybe from meyers, or another company around the late 70's. I'm sure if enough people see this video you'll find out.
Wow! That’s amazing views!
Any chance you can share the wiring plan you used?
🛻🛻🛻👍🇪🇨
Love it
I’m a new UA-camr to my channel is called burning rubber garage with the nova on it cool truck ❤
Looks great!
Thanks.
Nice old jeep. Looks like about 100 you can find on craigslist in California, Nevada, Arizona, etc, with a little less rust for about $7 to $9k. Last CJ7 I bought was $7800 a couple years ago
Better watch out Dennis Collins is gonna be ringing your doorbell. Any day now
Gotta 80 CJ5.. needs work but it's all mine..ooohh yeah!!
I absolutely LOVE the 6!
Sweet Jeep! I have a yellow CJ7 base model with 258, white roof and white steelies! Very odd options there, makes me think it could have been a renegade with the rocker mouldings, gauge surround panel and tire carrier. However you could ordered anything on Jeeps back then. Cool find! What’s the paint code? 6V sunshine yellow?
Nice car!
Love this jeep!
Thanks!
Nice JEEP! I would love to find one that nice.
Thanks!
Very cool!
Awwww look at that face :3
A good pressure washing and it will look a million times better. Something like that around where I live would be totally rotted out. It looks like it might be worth saving.
Thanks!
Should have done in black and white and ran around real fast with a dark hat and bushy mustache since it is a silent movie and truely comical.
Beautiful view!
Yes it is.
'promo sm' 😝
I subscribed. Good to see a fellow Arkansas youtuber!
Thanks!
Yea, it had a lot more rot than I expected. The root was also very rotten, so it dug up easy.
I used a strap to pull a stump once...the stump bounced off my tailgate and broke the rear window
Why does that remind me of a tooth I lost? 🧐
#stumpin
Great idea but found it amusing that it broke off almost flush and all that digging didn't need to be done. I guess it's Murphy's law at work!
Wow that was amazing! Great idea!
Except the root is still in the ground
Thank you for your video. If you could’ve given us a bit more commentary on what you were looking for and what your thoughts were as you were inspecting the valve body. Also what year and model this valve body was from. Thank you for your time
Looks good!
Thanks!
Will be a great truck ,is it a v8
Yes, it has a 1969 302 in it. It originally was a straight 6.
Don't even show the engine, disappointing. 🙄😒
Probably around $15,000.
Nice find!
Thanks! It's a solid truck.
That's the first time I've ever seen anybody use a cherry picker to hold the manifolds installing it on the block, I just pick up the manifolds and install it using my arms it's much faster
I have a bad back. When you get old and you still love working on motors, you learn to use machines to make it easier.
👍
I bought one off orginal owner May.2021 good video
Never saw a gold edition
Really nice
a beauty! congratulations, I have the same one, only the Argentine version, same interior and condition. Curious, what is the price of something like this in the USA?
