      That's funny. I worked for a company that the employees became unionized... my experience is that the union did dook for the workers.

    Ran across these clips last night, can’t stop watching them and I don’t even work anymore, I’m retired, but I watched them because my daughter who is extremely good at her job so they just keep piling more work on her but don’t offer any more money, it’s the
    people who can’t get their work done so it’s sent to my daughter who will do not only her work, but theirs as well and they reap the benefits. If she were to complain it looks like shes the bad apple. She’s just counting the days………. And I appreciate Veronica being able to stand up for herself, but it real life that generally doesn’t happen. I wish it did.

      Kein4463 at least gives audio credits where they belong. There are numerous 're-posters' of other's work, but in this case it is all above board as far as I can see.

    I had a boss just like her. Single, career only and no children. She managed the bank and the more businesses we pulled in the more commission for her. Apparently she wanted to travel to Europe again so she hovered over us to make that happen. So at 4:00 pm she tells everyone they are staying to do telephone sales. I had young children and couldn’t stay. My wife had an evening job. She went into her feminist boss babe act about the company comes first. I said to her who’s going to take care of my children. The word children is a dirty four letter word for career feminist. I left at 4:30, my regular time.

      ​@@acbulgin2 Doesn't mean you should be advocating for child neglect. Had parents that put work first, my parents literally starved us as kids to where I'm emaciated over 8 years after leaving. They just wanted to save a buck. Made me start paying rent at 14, struggling with four heart conditions. It's literally ruined my health to the point I had to be dragged out of the store to the hospital. And now that's happened, those parents can't be bothered to help the kid they've sacrificed for their success. All because work taught them to be selfish, even if it hurts their kids.

      I'm single and don't have kids I do what I was hired to do. And I don't work for free. If I can stay later I will if not I'm gone. When shift is over I owe work no further explanation when it's my time.

      @@acbulgin2You confuse selfishness with responsibility. The care of my children gives precedence over someone’s else’s hedonistic lifestyle. My and many others children are the key to our future as a species. Ms feminist never had children thus her relevance for the future is irrelevant. She has no legacy and her existence will be forgotten. Our children will continue to add to the human experience.

      My kids are grown now....but who in their right mind would have children in this world's climate. Your children are going to have children and struggle with childcare trying to work a job because that's how this world is set-up. We are just basically giving birth to workers....smh

    I come from management, and in all my years, i have never even heard of anything like this. Managers do and are expected to do far more than these entitled entry level employee’s.
    A few things to note here:
    1) as a worker, you need to stay in your lane an do what your told to do. When, where, and why entry level workers developed this warp sense that their voice matters is beyond me. Your paid to do a job, do it. Your place is to do your job not to worry about what the CEO an managers do.
    2) any manager who is not giving the company all the extra is jot actually a manager an just a place holder.
    3) any manager who is not leading by example is not a leader and is not leading.

      Examples 2 & 3 are why employees notice these things and feel entitled to offer their opinion. Upper management needs to make sure Lower Managers do their jobs so employees will butt out of their business. Lower Management acts like regular employees these days....joking and clowning with their staff. I don't respect managers who behave like that....nobody does.

      As for number one, they never said they were entry level. They were asking questions and validly concerned about doing the extra hours that they did not sign on before that yo do. So the problem here is ceo and management, the clock is entitled, the manager is the one staying in her lane and cya.
      If the ceo gave themselves a bonus, then they could have afforded one more employee to keep things balanced. Like they attempted to in the posting but changed their mind.
      And lastly, even the manager shouldn't be overloaded.
      You have the mindset that the company owns the employee. Tsk tsk. The world will change and become fairer within our lifetime.

      Exactly, and you do what you're paid to do. Not what you're not being paid for. Why (upper)management thinks that they're entitled to your free time due to their (mis)management decisions is beyond me.
