The Virtus pulls well although it has the characteristic thrum of a 3 cylinder engine. Either of these cars have different driving characteristics. Owing to the turbocharged engine on the Virtus, it has a strong mid range. The city has the characteristics of a naturally aspirated engine with good power delivery at the lower and higher rev ranges.
The DSG (DQ200) is associated with issues that may arise especially in the longer run. The extended warranty helps in this regard. It however feels great to drive. The decision ultimately depends on what you’re looking for.
Correction: The Virtus is not the longest sedan in the segment.

Yes, the Virtus can be a great car for the purpose. It offers a good blend of handling and ride quality.

@@SHIFTANDSURGEDQ 200 was in previous 1.2 polo. Now dq250 comes like the last 1.0 tsi. It has no reliability issues
