i want to articulate my responses in a way that it wont offend people but in the end i discard my reply anyways cause idk how to. i just really wanted to point out that it's not because of her body that she's "weak" in dancing - people were saying that a lot and that she lacked muscles for it but ive known a lot of dancers that were really skinny but still dances well (outside kpop, there's ac bonifacio and she's often bodyshamed too :( but she's a magnificent dancer). as said by op it really must've been because of busy schedules and partly confidence too.
sorry i got heated up. but the fact that people is so comfortable pointing that out each time really worries me. some people mask being concerned too just to shame her :/ i hope people realize that people's bodies differ. there are people that no matter how much or less they eat, their bodies don't really change much. add in the fact that these idols dance a lot then it's obvious what would happen to naturally thin people.

I feel like her singing in English is great for young kids, she pronounces words so fluidly and easy to understand word for word, so I can see it being easier for a kid to understand than most other songs. Such a lovely voice!

She has a good singing tone, she just needs to improve it a bit more.
So here's my honest opinion of her
-She has one of the best stage presence in the group
-Her dancing is actually good however she needs to up her game. I can't tell if it's the choreography or the positioning because shes really tall and she seems to have a hard time bending like the other girls. It's obvious in the performance she has difficulty when they're in close range but she makes up for it when the members are performing at a distance
-She has a good voice but seems limiting, like she has trouble with stabilizing her note and most of her breathing isn't stable.
All in all she's a 7/10 for now

her vocals really do have potential to be super great if A starship let her sing in a more comfortable tone cause I feel like tone she has in the songs isn't like comfortable for her... sounds like it to me- and B if starship actually trains her and doesn't make her schedule to busy as it already, she can be the all rounder of the group, we seen her dance and to me she was a really great dancer in iz*one and still is she knows how to dance properly despite her longer legs and arms which for many I know(from my experience as a dancer) have struggled with...., I also remember seeing a video of her like sort of rapping and while she wasn't really trying I think BUT there is potential.... and well this video can show she can be a great vocalist.... but starship is just gonna throw all the potential away which is sad cause it does ruin wonyoungs image... and I do think she deserves to get the training she needs to become good... the potential shouldn't be wasted but unfortunately it is....
so in short wonyoung has so much potential but it's being wasted and it has led to people calling her untalented despite to me she isn't... she just hasn't been able to develop to her full potential.....
